I ate at Super Buffet in the evening in early February. I went over to the Hibatchi grill and saw that there were only one set of tongs for the meat and vegetables. I informed the Latino man behind the grill. He said I could use the same tongs for everything. I explained to him the nature of E. coli and he preceded to tell me he didn't care. I pulled aside the Asian male manager and explained to him what the man behind the grill had said in response to the E. coli risk. In addition, I let him know that if the health inspector sees this, the companies vendor license could be pulled. The manager seemed to not understand what I was saying and pretended to understand. Bottom line, my issue is not only improper food handling practices but also the fact that both the employee and manager negated to take responsibility. Beware of where you eat. Super Buffet serves a variety of different types of food including Chinese, Japanese, American, Italian and a little bit of Mexican. For being a buffet the quality of the food is pretty good. The staff was very friendly and was always exchanging the empty treys of food with freshly prepared food. I tried sushi there for the first time and became a fan so I give Super Buffet props. The price per person is roughly nine dollars which is not that bad for a buffet. I would recommend this buffet to any one who likes a variety of food and for not too bad of a price. read more

Sushi in this place is okay. Not the best sushi I've had better sushi. As for the food, I did not finish my plate at all. The food is not good at all. I love teriyaki chicken and this place did not satisfy my craving for teriyaki chicken. I do not recommend it at all. If there was a zero star, they deserve it! Worst customer service ever!!!, my family decided to go there, the man at the reception was so rude, even asking us to pay for the little baby we brought as if he was gonna eat from his own plate, and even threatened that he was gonna watch us from the camera making sure we dont feed him from our plates. We would have left if not that we had already planned to eat there. The other staff were also rude and clueless and you find your own table, services and too pricy. The all you can eat is a good concept however you don't want to eat much. The food is horrible. We B-line to the fried fish and shrimp, which was close to something we recognized. To start out, AF was the only cockroach walking around the place I'm sure of that. The food here is good not to mention all you can eat crab. Have never had bad service here like other people say but I'm not a rude to people so I'm sure that helps. The only downside is if you go when there are not busy the food can be cold. My husband and I ate here on a weeknight. We were surprised by the large selection at the buffet AND the MOngolian BBQ! GREAT! The wait staff was friendly and attentive and though we were there 'early' for the evening meal the buffet was stocked and regularly refreshed and maintained. Bottom line for us - the meal was plentiful, flavorful, clean and a good value. We will be back...and often. read more

I used to make the drive from Visalia to Hanford for this buffet. The 20 minute drive was worth it. I was really hungry last night which was Friday and was hoping that the food at the buffet was fresh and plentiful. I was not so lucky. Lots of empty or close to empty trays. Been here a few times, it's ok. It's a buffet, so there are certain things you just come to expect when dealing with buffets. There are things on the buffet that I like, things that I don't like.. I'm sure everyone has that experience, isn't that the whole point of a buffet. The place is clean, the staff seems.... it's a BUFFET. I leave the table to go get more food, when I return, the plates are gone. So, the staff is on par with what I expect at a buffet. I've had them offer to refill my drinks, which always confuses me greatly. Sometimes I go refill them, sometimes they do. Sometimes the food seems fresher than others.... I guess what I'm getting at here is that this is a run-of-the-mill-BUFFET. I will sometimes crave those little cream cheese popper things, so this is our go-to Chinese buffet place. It's not bad, it's also not anything that I'm going to rave about because it's a pretty standard buffet. It's about the same price as other buffets, making it an average BUFFET. read more

Absolutely disgusting. My husband loves this place and I don't like Chinese food in the first place but after months of pleading to take me, I finally caved since he goes to the places I like. We went during the lunch rush and the food was still cold, even the pans they were just putting out. The food looked very old and super greasy and they charged us next to $30 for only the two of us. It was very crowded and the seats and tables were very sticky. The sushi was greasy and nasty. Even the fruit was soggy. If you want a good place for Asian food, go to Boba Island next to the movie theater in Lemoore. Granted, they are expensive and not a buffet, they will save you from a night on the toilet and your tastebuds from a very bland and cold meal. I barely ate anything and I barely made it to a toilet afterwards. The dishes were also dirty and the cups looked and smelled like they were just placed in dirty dishwater.
