It had been a while that I moved to Framingham and was looking for a new place to head for haircut, someplace where I could schedule an appointment with ease and which had late evening or weekend hours. Was a bit hesitant looking at Yelp reviews but glad that I decided to give it a try. Got a really positive experience. The staff was warm on the phone and in person. And they tell you the wait policy upfront(need to check in on arrival and you may have to wait a bit even though you scheduled an appointment). Got a great hair cut from Alyssa, who understood what I wanted when I showed her pics of the hair cut I wanted. Got a nice and proportionate cut. Also saw that she gave haircut tips to other clients too. Will definitely recommend. read more

Why am I forced to give 1 star? There should be a no star option. Nothing Super about this place. I called an hour in advance and set my appointment for 5:30. I walked out the door at 5:50 without a haircut or an apology. What's the point of an appointment? If I was 20 minutes late they would reschedule me. While I was waiting there a woman brought 2 guys in. One looked like the Cowboy from Road house and the other had 30 pens in his upper shirt pocket. Then I noticed the smell. They lost my business. Someone less experienced butchered my haircut, leaving an indentation on the side from applying too much pressure with the clipper. They had someone else try to fix but it's still noticeable. It's always been a gamble for me. Sometimes, you get someone who cuts well, and, most of the time, you don't. Employees don't seem to last very long there either. There are new ones every few weeks. Also, when I come in, they don't even bother to look me in the eye and greet me professionally, including the manager Mark. This was my first time to this location and I really had a positive experience! The staff give a warm greeting on the phone and in person. And they tell you the wait policy upfront. She took the extra time to flat iron so the results would last longer (my usual salon doesn't do that). The staff had pleasant exchanges with each other their clients. I have no problem with this place. Called ahead and told them I'd be in in 20 minutes and I was promptly swept away to a chair when I arrived. Didn't love my hair stylist not in that she cut my hair wrong as the cut was actually perfectly fine but she kept asking me if I was sure I wanted to cut my hair this short (my hair is already short this haircut was a trim) and on the final cut she said oh well it will always grow back. It was kind of rude. I'm an adult and at this point in my life I know how I like my hair so there is no need to be judgemental when someone has there hair short. There is nothing special about my hair so I don't mind going to a chain hair cut place to save money. read more

I have been to several different Supercuts around Mass and the one in Framingham (by the Walgreens) is by far the best experience! Everyone is alway very friendly and the appointments are spot on. When I go I request Sharde. Sharde always does a great job; even when I give a confusing request of what kind of hairstyle I am going for. I highly recommend the tea tree treatment because it is reasonably priced and it feels so refreshing. You also have to respect their cool work culture. Last year everyone had really great Halloween costumes when it was close to Halloween. I wish I went closer to Halloween this year. Keep up the great work! read more

It's been a while and I am not a " fashionista" so need my handheld when it comes to primping. They were able to take me ( with multiple requests from me) upon arrival which is what I need or I probably would have gone another six months. Laura-my stylist- went over everything I wanted and what she thought. Very knowledgable and was kind enough to let me - miss clueless- know what my fun redo will cost so I was not to be shocked at the register. Super smart move and thank you. This has become my new haircut place ever since Modern Hair Salon in Framingham closed. The staff is very friendly and fairly enthusiastic about their jobs. The service at times can be a bit slow, even when you call in. My usual stylist is Cesar. He's a great guy and has a great eye for detail. I think that comes from his love for fashion design! Today Sharde cut my hair! I was a little hesitant to go with someone I was unfamiliar with, but it was totally worth it! Sharde is a really nice lady and she is really beautiful too! She also cut my hair really well and you could feel the amount care she put into her work! Over all, I would recommend this place. Try it out and see whether it suits you! read more

What a waste of my time! I used to go to Supercuts often. Well tonight I decided to make an appointment online about 2 hours in advance. While checking in behind two rude customers whom made it a point to try to beat me in to the front door. Which honestly I was in no rush and found it funny. I had an appointment but they did not know that and were doing there best to beat me to a chair. The topping on the cake was their attitude by letting the door close in my face and pretend I'm not even there even though they looked at me in the parking lot. The staff greeted them and apparently they called ahead. So you called ahead and still had to be rude? But that's not Supercuts problem some people suck. The staff realized I was there who had booked an appointment for that time. There were only two stylists that were available and there was no one waiting and they asked if it was ok if they took the two of them first. (Makes sense for them why would one of them have to wait? saying that in jest) Just make the one person not with someone else wait even though I had booked HOURS in advance. I doubt they called that far out and it was evident that they did not when one of the stylists asked if it was ok if they went before me. Seriously? Why should I be put in that position to make that decision? I should have said no one of them has to wait now thinking about it. But honestly it should have been one of them had to wait as I had made a reservation before them regardless of how many. The final thing was the stylist said it would be 10 mins of a wait if they went, well guess what it wasn't and I left and will never go back to any Super Cuts because of this garbage. I would not bother with this place as they do not honor reservations online sure a few minutes wait if its busy but to take people that called in after you booked is garbage. No matter how they respond to this review, that is what happened. It was a waste of my time, as they did not value my time or effort in following what they wanted a customer to do only the $ with two as opposed to one and best thing I usually tip well. Here is a hint there are plenty of places in the area might want to actually treat repeat customers well or at least follow your own "polices" unless phone calls override any other reservation then why even have online reservations? read more

I would like to say that My experience was rather good! :) I had a stylist named Sharde, pronounced Sharday, and told her exactly what type of bob I wanted... and 20 mins later... I had exactly what I wanted... at an incredible price. I was there at a desperate moment, having just done a shop at trader Joe's... looked at myself in the mirror and realized that my 80 dollar hair cut had grown out very badly... Super Cuts.. is NOT a normal place for me to go.... but as I said... I was desperate. I did not expect much... but was VERY impressed with the result... yes there were a ton of parents and kids... but they all seemed to be regulars... and they all left very happy. I have been going to this Supercuts for over 20 years. I started when they were at a different Route 9 location, and I followed them to the current location next to Walgreens on Route 9. I have always had a great experience. The last time that I went was on Monday 3/28/16, and I brought a photo with me of what kind of cut I wanted. Nicole was my stylist, and she was great! NICKELED AND DIMED TO DEATH This is the second time using this location. The staff was friendly but they were definitely trying to raise their sales! First of all, to get highlights for my 13 year old, we were quoted over $225!! Last time we did this at another Supercuts location it was under $75 without a "super color consultation" While my daughters as getting her hair trimmed, I decided to get a trim. I've been using another location for over 5 years and have never been charged extra for them to spend an extra 30 seconds cleaning up my beard. After we were done my daughter mentioned that her stylist wanted $75 F-ing dollars to put her hair up instead of leaving it down. If I wanted to pay premium prices to get my hair done, I would've gone to a real salon. I'm not sure if it's just this location or at Supercuts is making a corporate move to raise their average sales ticket. Personally if this is now their new corporate structure, I am going to a premium salon. Paying these prices at Supercuts is like paying prime rib prices at Subway. They are a joke and can't possibly expect to stay in business charging these prices. My advice is to go elsewhere read more

I used their website to check in, and it told me it was a 20 minute wait and my appointment was at 5:30. When I got there at 5:29, there were four people waiting. I waited for about 30 minutes and was the fifth person served. So checking in online was no different than if I had just walked in. Also, the website says that every cut "finishes with a Hot Towel Refresher to remove stray hairs off your face and neck, leaving you feeling clean, sharp, and ready to get back to your day." I saw nothing of the sort for any of the people getting cuts, including me. Not that I cared, but they should remove it from their website if it doesn't exist. read more

Worst customer service ever! Called at 1:30 and was told to come in between 2:15 & 2:30. Got there at 2:20 and was told there was 1 client ahead of me. They took that guy around 2:25. At 2:40 they called someone who came in 20 minutes after I did. Then 5 minutes later they called the guy who came in right after I did. WTF!!!!! No apologies or anything.
