I've been here a few times with friends and family and generally have had a good experience. My parents were really impressed with the dumplings which says a lot, I think they'll probably want to visit again the next time they come to Seattle! I'm a big fan of the spicy soup dumplings as well as the mini pan-friend dumplings. I think the XLB/regular pork soup dumplings here are a little overhyped in comparison, as they aren't that unique. The spicy soup dumplings really have some kick to them so be warned! I'm also a fan of the fried rice and the stir fry string beans (the mushrooms in that are SO GOOD!). Be warned that the menu says 汤圆 for the mochi rice balls, but they are not 汤圆, lol. They are just 3 big mochi with different types of filling. In terms of mixed experiences, the food is consistent, and the service generally good. However, last time I went, I ordered a drink and ended up waiting for it for over an hour (asking about it multiple times) before they finally told me the machine was broken and I'd have to wait another 30 minutes for them to fix it, so I just cancelled my order. That might have been a one-off incident, but it would have been nice to be informed earlier so I didn't wait around for it unnecessarily. read more

I like supreme dumplings a lot and would give them four stars. There's also options to make reservations, which is really nice when you're trying to plan. I would choose supreme dumplings over Din Tai Fung. There are still pros and cons to both but supreme dumplings is less crowded. Price point is pretty much the same. read more

Dined in at Supreme Dumpling during my trip to Washington! Overall, I had a great time! Food was delicious and service was great. We got the mini pan fried dumplings which had a crispy bottom and were filled with soup. We were really hoping to get the pan fried buns but they were out for the day. We also ordered the Szechuan Spicy XLB which were a quite flavorful and full of spicy soup. Unfortunately, multiple XLB seemed to be steamed too close and ended up touching; that led to multiple XLB ripping and soup spilling out when trying to grab one. The spicy cucumber salad was okay. It had more of a mala numbing spice. The passion fruit lemonade and tan tan noodles were also good! Overall, we had a pretty good experience at supreme dumplings! Solid spot for Chinese food! This restaurant is right next to other restaurants and a grocery store so there's plenty of parking. My friends and I had a reservation for 7 people on a Thursday night. The interior was nicely decorated with a wood interior and light blue colors. We obviously had to get the supreme pork xiao long bao. Lots of soup inside and very flavorful. Since we love spicy, we also ordered the szechuan spizy xiao long bao and it was good but it didn't have as much soup compared to the original. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by how good the Stir-Fry String Beans were. I've had this dish plenty of times in other restaurants but I think this is the best one so far. The seasoning was fantastic and I loved how it came with carrots and mushrooms. We also ordered the Pork Chop Fried Rice which was super flavorful- we even ordered a side dish of extra pork chops. As for the Supreme Spicy Pork Wontons, this was just okay for me. I don't exactly love the strong pork taste which these dumplings had (then again, I'm just picky so that's a me thing) but my friends enjoyed it! Last but not least, the Supreme Tan Tan noodles. This place gets BUSY! We went on a Thursday night and had a 30+ mins wait. They do use Yelp for a virtual waitlist, so it is very convenient to put your name down. Starting with the atmosphere, very lively and modern. You can tell they had to expand into the adjacent business to add more seating areas, but they make it very seamless. Their specialty is certainly dumplings, both don't sleep on the Supreme Tan Tan Noodles -- we ordered one to share, as we ate family-style, and ended up ordering a second one... its that good! The pan fried Buns had a nice crust at the bottom, yet remained nice and fluffy, the Szechuan spicy Bao had a ton of flavor and the perfect kick, the greens provided a refreshing "break" from the heavier parts of the meal, and did I mention the Tan Tan noodles were amazing? Not giving them a 5 as the service did lack... we had issues with timing of the food, options being sold out for the evening (at 7pm on a Thursday...), and having to order some of the plates more than once as the order was not properly placed by the server. I've been to Supreme Dumplings often enough to add this to my dinner rotations! Service is ok, but the food makes up for it! We usually order the XLB (either the Supreme Pork XLB or the Shrimp & Pork XLB), it's definitely more affordable than another famous dumpling restaurant in the area. We also like the Spicy Wontons, which could use a little more heat, IMO. And same with the hot and sour soup. But honestly the stand out dishes for us are the Black Truffle & Vegetable Fried Rice, the Stir-Fry Seasonal greens with garlic and, new on the menu, Bean Sprouts Stir-Fry with Mushrooms! Ok so, this place is very good. A solid 4 star venue in my opinion. Service was excellent and the interior decor was quite beautiful. Compared to its competitors (Din Tai Fung, Dough Zone, etc.), they paid a lot more attention to the ambiance and service aspects of the restaurant. The food was solid too. My extended family of 7 went so we got to try a lot of different dishes. Supreme Xiao Long Bao (their basic/flagship Xiao Long Bao) was quite good but we all preferred the Szechuan (spicy) version with mala flavors. It was a bit spicy so if you cannot handle the heat, you should skip. Mini Pan-Fried Dumplings and Spicy Cucumber Salar were not very memorable but were not bad either. Pork Chop Fried Rice was unexpectedly great and String Beans were excellent. In terms of determining how much to order, think 2 per guest or 3 per guest if everyone is hungry. I definitely recommend this place but I would also add that it is not necessarily "better" than Dough Zone or Din Tai Fung. I would say very comparable and similar. read more

We've been here multiple times with friends and family. We've tried different xiaolongbao - supreme pork, Szechuan spicy, and crab and pork and they're all good. Crab and pork is definitely a favorite. Pork chop fried rice is great. Good fried rice has the rice grains separated and egg is nicely distributed. The pork chop is also perfectly fried. The supreme tan tan noodle is okay. It's a little too salty and unbalanced for me. Dishes use nice, modern style plating, so you can see the thought and intention in every detail. Each dish was less than $15 - the soup and wontons were less than $10 each! We got the tan tan noodles, shrimp & pork wontons, spicy cucumber salad, pan fried dumplings, and pork xia long bao. Everything was delicious! We also tried their Taiwanese cold noodles, which I don't see offered in a lot of restaurants so those were cool to try. My favorite dishes were definitely the tan tan noodles (a must!) and the hot and sour soup. Wife and I went here for lunch on a Saturday, it was packed but wait wasn't bad probably 10-12 minutes our server was not very good though he forgot my drink, had to remind him after our food had already been served and it took him a long time to come back with it, asked for additional napkins and never got them. This location is in the Asian Family Mart plaza, which has a pretty big lot though parking can still be a bit challenging during peak hours. I went for dinner with friends on a Saturday night at 7:30 ish and waited about half an hour before getting seated. If you live in the area, I'd recommend trying to join the waitlist ahead of time as this place can get crowded. Food wise, everything was okay ish, pretty solid considering the price. Won't ever suggest going here, but it's fine. Supreme Pork XLB (3.75/5): The skin was pretty thin and they are very, very soupy. The flavor was just okay though, but for the price, this is still a solid option for soup dumplings. Pan-Fried Pork Bun (1.75): Way too doughy and the inside is weirdly the same flavor as the XLBs. Amount of meat is sad and won't be getting this again. Supreme Tan Tan Noodle (4.25/5): By far, the best item on the menu. Super nutty sesame sauce with just the right kick of chili oil. The noodles have a fantastic bouncy texture and the fresh cucumbers were a great contrast. I'd actually go out of my way to get this, but nothing else. In addition, wait times are atrocious unless you have a reservation.
