Visiting Myrtle Beach for a family vacation, this place got sterling reviews on Trip Advisor, Yelp and FB so we thought hey let's give it a try! Raining out so opted for delivery, didn't think it would be an issue as our hotel was only 6.9miles from the restaurant. Called to order, the lady took my address and order saying it would be 45minutes. About 30minutes later I get a call asking once again where I was located, I gave the address and was told that they do not deliver that far and she would have to call me back. 10minutes later I get a call saying that they would deliver the pizza but for future reference they do not deliver that distance. My statement to her was don't worry, this was my first time ordering from you and will be the last. So as far as the food goes: Sicilian with peppers, onions, mushrooms and pepperoni. Was just fair, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst...was very cold by the time it got to me but I guess I'm going to let that slide since we were "out of the delivery area". Antipasto Salad made the way it comes with Italian dressing. Was pretty good as far as salads go. Dressing was WAY WAY WAY too salty!!! Glad I tasted it before I put it on my food. Marinated veggies...not so much. Tasted and looked like they had just been tossed in olive oil and a little salt, and still hard as bricks! No napkins, no plastic ware, no Parmesan cheese for the pizza...nothing. I honestly would have rather them just say I'm sorry we can't deliver to you... I came here twice for take out and the food was excellent. The owner was very courtesy, friendly and helpful what I needed to order. The establishment is small but don't let that bother you, great small places are a gem. Parking is alittle tricky since it's in a limited space area in Surfside especially the busy season but I had no problems getting a parking space. Sometimes in the front of the pizza place other time was across the street. It was worth the wait and walk to get delicious food. Love this restaurant! My husband and I came in for an early dinner around 4pm since we skipped lunch. The bread was fresh from the oven was delicious, caesar salad was light and fresh. We shared our entree's of eggplant parmigiana and the shrimp risotto both of which were amazing and seasoned perfectly. Great pizza!!! The place is small, the occupancy sign allows a bit over 40 people. We were lucky to get a table on a Wednesday evening and it was nothing fancy, just great pizza. The food was perfectly fine- nothing to write home about, but not bad. We got fried ravioli, which was bland, and then I had a white pizza and my husband got a pepperoni calzone. I enjoyed my pizza, it had good flavor, but the crust was lackluster and seemed like frozen. My husband did not like the calzone at all, but did say the cheese was good. The service was definitely lacking, however. Our waitress was nice enough, but my husband was out of drink and never got a refill. The location is small, we were one of 2 tables there (so 3 total customers) and she never checked on us. I had just a bit of soda left in my cup and asked for a to-go cup of Sprite; she brought me an empty cup, of which not even half was filled by what I had remaining. We are not local but have been eating at this pizza place on beach vacations for years. The pizza usually is some of the best I've ever had! This year I've had pizza from here 3 times and something was off all 3 times. The first time was back in March for the marathon and there was barely any sauce on the pizza. The second time was last Friday and the broccoli on the pizza tasted super funkified. Tuesday the crust was bland and chewy. It's not that the pizza is terrible, it's not. But it's come down so far from where it was. If something about the recipe has changed since 2017, please change it back!!! I don't think ownership has changed, looks like the same friendly folks behind the counter when I picked up. Maybe they've just been slammed and it's causing QC to suffer? I'll definitely keep trying and hope they get back to best ever pizza status! read more

Animated, fun and well knowledgeable about what is on the menu and special's blackboard. Wine by the glass are house wines of several varietals. $5/glass is very do-able. Wife had the Lobster Ravioli in a red sauce; I opted for two slices of pizza customized to my liking. Each of us had the house salad with their very own home-made Italian dressing. Dessert which we usually skip... we didn't this time... had the Tiramisu Small intimate place that is non-pretentious (unlike some of the neighbors) but they hold a crowd. Place is a hidden gem!! Went in late not realizing they were getting ready to close - they kept telling us not to apologize! Very friendly, accommodating and attending. Pizza was fresh, hot and delicious! Crisp crust was perfect - nothing worse than soggy pizza! Mine was covered with fresh (out of the can) mushrooms while his was literally topped with chopped frozen spinach, in clumps. I have never seen anything like it. That place is here at Surfside Beach Pizza. They are family owned and operated and super friendly. I slid in like 5 minutes before they closed (Not knowing this actually until I checked in on Yelp) and they were happy to accommodate my order. I was super apologetic and they didn't seem bothered at all. I didn't try the pizza but we got a stromboli and 3 pastas. They forgot my meatballs but I didn't mind because of the timing of my arrival. The food was very good and HOT! The dishes traveled well and were steaming when we got them home. The sauce tasted homemade and the prices were more than reasonable! We will return for our eat in or take out needs for yummy Italian food! read more

I failed at my first attempt to get a seat for three on a Friday night at 7pm. The dining area of this rather small establishment couldn't handle the influx of the local family crowd, and I have since learned my lesson. I took the "order for pickup" route the next time around, and was much happier for it. That said, call ahead, drive by, and pick up your pizza for take-out at home if you can. The NY style pizza is decent. I ordered two: Pepperoni and The TBG (tomato basil garlic). As it turns out, the tomato basil garlic was the better of the two pies. Not that I have anything against regular pepperoni and cheese, it was just a better quality pie. Oh, and I believe there is only one size for the pizza, which makes it easy. Each pie is plenty to share with three or four people, though if your crew likes pizza as much as mine, you'd better order two! read more

It's easy to find, IF you are looking for it- it's tucked into a shopping center on the corner of Surfside drive and Highway 17. I walked in about 7:15 on a Friday night and the place was busy. I walked right up and placed my to go order. 2 slices of cheese pizza, for $4. I was there about 5 minutes- in and out. There is parking on both sides of the street and I could see that during the high season it maybe troublesome to find a spot. They do offer delivery, but based on a phone call I overheard, you must be in the town of Surfside- which means I'll have to continue to get takeout. Because my pizza was delish!
