This is a love or hate restaurant and it's a LOVE from me. We visit every month and absolutely love it all. The lunch is almost $7 less than dinner and just as fabulous! I love the made to order food and all the choices. I don't even eat Seafood and I leave filled to the gills. We always bring our Out of Towner's here. This is a wonderful, always packed, Yes.

First time visit and the all you can eat lunch is absolutely worth it! It's rare to dine for less than $40 for 2 these days and we left satisfied. You can chose anything on the menu but we ordered as we finished plates to avoid being charged for any excess. I could've did without the fried rice and hibachi steak as it tasted just ok. But the sushi was delicious. The volcano roll may have been my favorite but none of the rolls disappointed! We also loved having the option of having our gyoza and shumai steamed or fried (fried is the way to go). Our server was attentive and the restaurant wasn't too packed either. Would definitely return!

Honestly I used to eat at sushi king a lot 5-6 years ago, but I feel like the quality has kind of gone down. The sushi rolls were still very good considering it's all you can eat but it took forever to get our food. I loved the spring rolls and the sunrise? Roll (mango, fruit, avocado). The fried rice was very mid. We were also kind of shooed out at closing, which I understand since I've worked as a server several times before, but it was only a few minutes after 10 and there were other people at tables near us. They told us they were locking the doors so we needed to leave. so I didn't looove that too too much. This is a great place to eat as a vegetarian and where you can try a lot of different things but try to come earlier during dinner if you can to avoid that.

Sushi King is a chain that I've frequented many times. I would argue that this is the best deal for all you can eat sushi in the area ($21.99 per person for dinner). Compared to so many sushi spots in Richmond, Sushi King absolutely gives the greatest proportion of fish to rice for the sushi, hand rolls, and nigiri. The sushi is fresh, cool, and delicious, and the warmth of the rice is a pleasant contrast. The krab rangoons are some of my favorite I've ever had. The service can be a little hit or miss in terms of attentiveness, but is normally quite reasonable, and despite whatever they tell you the wait will be, it will be about half of that. P.S. Try the creamy potato roll!! Do it!!!!!!!!

Man...I don't know where to start This is one of the best buffets I've ever been to! Sushi King needs to expand to the NOVA area because I would definitely drive 2 hours just to come back here. $20 for all you can eat sushi PLUS more? Count me in! They all all kinds of sushi's, even local ones like the "Richmond" sushi. It's a great place for sushi loves and interests of sushis like me. I highly recommend this place, you can't beat a price like this. In NOVA, I would spend $20 for 2 trays of sushi at giant. So having this was a steal. They also had other foods like teriyaki chicken and miso soup. They also have a kids menu with American food like nuggets.

Fresh and good. No complaints would recommend especially if you love to eat since it's an all you can eat and made to order.

Delicious. Bread…read morewith strawberry butter? Delicious. Milk bread with house spread? Delicious. Glazed carrots with popcorn dust? WTF just happened? Delicious! There's f'ing popcorn on my carrots! Crab bread? Was a mini loaf of bread wearing a 4" tall crab costume. We got one, followed by two more. Delicious. We tried several entrees across 7 people. I pivoted from the black cod to a burger on the waitstaff recommendation. A bit salty, which is not an issue for me, and awesome fries. Closed sharing the devil's food cake. Inside was dark and industrial. We were in the back room, rotation of a few servers, all very attentive. Everyone said we want to go back.

Did you know "Trouvaille" in French means "find?" And not just "find," in the everyday use, but to…read morefind as if you are so fortunate! Well! Never has such a delightful eatery been so aptly named! Trouvaille is a glorious find indeed! Mind you, if you read my reviews you will see I know a bit about good cocktails and better food! So context: I was completely blown away by this little tucked away spot on Lombardy Street in Richmond's glorious Fan neighborhood. To begin: Top shelf alcohol, merged into glorious soothing cocktails expertly blended and presented as swanky as any NYC or SF bar! If you like an expertly blended Manhattan this is the place. Next time the old fashioned or anything frankly on the menu! For dinner: I had the gnocchi with fresh spring peas in a light cream sauce with the kind of tender savory chicken one dreams of. The whole thing was an imaginative yet comforting fusion of Japanese-Italian-American comfort food. Think: deconstructed chicken pot pie! Hubby had the short ribs which melted in my mouth alongside a perfectly crispy yet tender Japanese inspired (Korean?) rice cake next to perfectly unctuous kimchi!! Just amazing! I traveled the world in every bite! Umami perfection. But I skipped telling you about the appetizer of fresh spring salad with arugula, burrata, and just fresh everything. The dressing was a tiny but overpowering but totally tolerable because of the perfect tang and balance of creaminess. So good and the serving was beyond generous! We ordered delicious Homemade... like a truly homemade fresh loaf of bread arrived with perfectly not-too-sweet strawberry (what?) butter!! And save room for dessert! The oh so thin crepe cake with uh-mazing strawberry sauce and sweet (not too) crème was just light and pleasing. Again I could feel/taste the Japanese influence And then! An on the house chocolate pot de crepe had me swooning! This with our Malbec wine was like heaven on earth. Finally? The bill. So freaking reasonable! We spared no expense and had a bottle of wine! Nothing but pleasure here. The bill was a pleasure to pay! And I love thoughtful decor! I am happy to report: The vibe is incredibly cool, too. Think Gothic-minimalism meets the gilded age. Such a glam space but not in the least bit intimidating. I am in LOVE! Don't miss this place. I see Michelin stars in Joe the Chef's future. Mr. James Beard get to Trouvaille if you want to see the best of Richmond! You will not be disappointed.! We will be back for sure. Hope to see you there!

We started off with some fried tofu (not pictured) and followed up with two specialty rolls. For two people, this was plenty to fill us up. The Monster roll is pretty filling with its size, tuna, and a piece of tempura. The roll on the left (forgot the name), was a nice balance to the heavier Monster roll. I thoroughly enjoyed the specialty rolls! Service was great! We were running behind our reservation time and I called to let them know. We still got our table when we arrived! They told us about the happy hour and we got some drinks and an appetizer. Water was always refilled. Ambiance is low key. Great for catching up with friends and families. Bathrooms had cool, neon lighting like you're at the club. Would definitely come back (which I did)!

Yume Roll and Jeff roll on bogo. They were actually a bit smaller than I expected. I ate all 4 rolls in one sitting. Some of the roll pieces were kind of thin but it was worth it with the bogo deal. Still pretty good flavor. I liked the Jeff roll with tuna, it seemed like a pretty thin topping and had a nice little kick from the jalapeño. The Yume roll had good flavor but it felt like the filling with the crunch was a lot of the filling which made it a little bland, nice crunch and simple flavors.
