We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.

This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!

15/10. I don't have words to describe how amazing this food is, it was exactly what i was craving tonight. I highly recommend the salmon tataki and eel hand roll. The salmon tataki has a hint of this amazing truffle taste and the eel was smokey and grilled to perfection. the eel was so tender too! The service was incredible, the owner is so sweet and goes out of his way to connect with customers and check in. The lighting in the restaurant is slightly moody and the location is perfect to do shopping and grab a sweet treat afterwards!! I absolutely recommend you try this place!

10/10. The salmon tataki roll has a slight truffle taste that is so delicious and the eel hand roll was cooked to perfection. The eel was tender, carmelized, smokey, and overall super balanced. The qualify of the fish was amazing and worth the money. The owner was super sweet snd definitely tried to connect with his customers. They close at 9 yet they still served us till 9:15 with the same amazing service, no rushing or anything. Also, the location of the restaurant is perfect to get a sweet treat afterwards or even shop! The place includes a bar and slightly moodly lighting, it is a little small but the owner makes sure you dont wait too long to get in and served so that is always appreciated! Highly recommend if you can!

This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!

This was by far the best baked salmon roll I have ever had! I would go back just for that again. The salmon had a garlic flavor to it which made it so much better than the usual. Ordered a few other rolls as well that I enjoyed. Service was attentive.

This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.

Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.

I have been eyeing this spot for a while and finally able to try it with a friend. Wow, I was quite impressed. Service was absolutely wonderful for a small place. Luckily on a mid-week visit they weren't to busy and therefore we were not rushed. The quality of each dish was wonderful. Portions were sizable. They had some unique dish options that hit the spot and made them stand out verse other sushi spots. A cozy little place located at the end of the bustling 2nd street area. Parking was relatively easy mid-week, however weekends would be a challenge. Among all the wonderful sushi spots in Long Beach, this spots definitely competes. Nice to enjoy another gem within the city. I will be keeping this one in the rotation.

Wowww. I've lived in this area most my life and never been to this spot. The owner told me they've been open for around 6 years already! The fish is SO fresh! Very very clean. I went with a friend of mine and we were both super happy. Service is super nice. We ended up speaking to the owner and he was super nice and we spoke about the quality of the fish being very yummy. You can tell they take care about their customers as well as the food! Highly recommend and will be back !

Stopped by here after driving by when I was visiting along Beach for the day. Walked in right as they opened and was greeted by a friendly waitress. The sushi I ordered was presented very well, and tasted even better! the Rainbow roll was excellent. My other two options were just a California roll and yellowtail nigiri which was also very good. Wow when it comes to sushi I'm a very tough critic and this place blew me away. It really deserves its 5 star rating! The fish is super fresh and really good quality. They get very rare fish from around the world. What makes this place very special as well is the service. Calvin and Jade were are waiters. They were very attentive and kind people. Jean was are sushi chef, he was very knowledgable and a very skilled chef! They really let the quality of the fish speak for its self and season it very simply. I really suggest the sashimi here. If you are looking for a sushi connoisseur place and not one of those over sauce of joke sushi places then you have to try this place! Ps get the blue fin tuna sashimi read more

A little birdie at Trader Joe's told me about @Sushi! I finally visited this past weekend with my boyfriend. We met the owner, Song, and he made us feel so welcomed! We ordered the garlic edamame which reminded me exactly of the flavor of Hawaiian shrimp trucks! We also ordered a couple of rolls and some sashimi. The rolls were a perfect portion and the sashimi was super buttery! The sake was a great addition to date night. We will be back! read more

Wow! The sushi is absolutely delicious. We also ordered bluefin tuna belly and it was 10/10 perfect temperature - the sushi chef gave us an assortment of different sauces on the bluefin, one of which was a truffle oil and OMG - to die for. Worth the money for sure. We also were surprised with a complimentary 2 piece ground bluefin nigiri and it was amazing. The fresh wasabi was also some of the best I have had. I had been craving sushi, and with everything going on, I figured takeout would be my best option. So, I decided to try @sushi because they had great reviews and it was within walking distance from my house. (Yay, fresh sushi at home!) Unfortunately, I didn't even get to enjoy it because of the horrible service I received from Elija (I called when I got home and was told this was his name). I walked into the restaurant and there was a takeout bag sitting on a random table by itself in front of the door. Nobody was around, so I looked and sure enough, it had my name on it. It was my $60 order just sitting there. Assuming this meant they expected people to just help themselves to their pickups, I picked up my order and walked out. It was only after I was already outside did the server acknowledge me, not apologetic, but to demean me like I did something wrong. He stopped me and asked to see my order number because, "people have been coming in and just taking orders," (maybe because they are left out by the door). I showed him my confirmation from Yelp, and he took a long time to look it over, then asked where my name was. I hadn't ordered on Yelp for a while so I started looking for it, but couldn't find it (he didn't even attempt to help me). I should've asked for the manager then, but I didn't know how long my sushi had been sitting there and didn't want to drag this encounter out any longer. After a couple of minutes of searching for my name on Yelp, he finally said it was fine and that I can go. Hah! I don't even know how the sushi tasted because I was so upset thinking about how this pretentious server humiliated me in front of outside diners making me look and feel like a criminal. Worst $60 I ever spent! Next time I crave sushi, I'll try out one of the other 3 sushi restaurants on second street. read more

Brand new sushi spot in Belmont Shore that is fantastic! My wife and I went a week ago and absolutely loved the food. We sat at the sushi bar and managed to rack up a $160 tab on fresh fish. Honestly it was worth every penny. The cuts were generous with minimal rice. They also have different fish options then you'll see in trendy sushi spots. The presentation nice too. This place was packed when we went. It's no longer a secret that this little gem sits right here off of 2nd. Street. Very nicely decorated restaurant. Our service was exceptional. This will be our go to sushi spot in the shore. read more

Quality sushi first time here I am very happy for finding this-restaurant is excellent along with the staff wonderful you must visit this location one of the best sushi spots in Belmont shore area I want thank the manager for helping us out very nice gentleman try the udon noodle soup it is very delicious this place is a five star location I also recommend albacore sushi and it is very tasteful and I will be returning again I recommend this to location to everyone! read more

I am so happy I found @Sushi! Their sushi always tastes fresh. My husband and I have been eating here weekly since we moved to Long Beach and we can't get enough. The presentation is always so appealing and we have only gotten take out. I usually get the dragon roll and seared salmon and share the garlic edamame with my husband. He can't get enough of the California roll and the chicken teriyaki. The servers are always so nice and take out service was always fast for us. If you are looking for delicious sushi, go to @Sushi. We love sushi. And on 2nd street there are several options. We've been to all several times. This night we tried this new restaurant and it did not disappoint. The place is small so if they get crowded, it might take a bit to get seated but we only waited 5 minutes. The staff were superb. We ordered quite a bit of things. Several rolls, and the katsu chicken dinner. ALL excellent. We loved the inside out roll and the LB roll. But honestly, everything was great. We hope they do well and we're definitely coming back to try other things since we enjoyed everything. read more

From the gentleman outside who greeted us and took the time to explain what to expect, to the owner who personally welcomed us and convinced me to try his favorite wine (and I don't even like wine--but it was delicious), the experience was top-tier. Every single person--from the host/hostess to the waitress to the staff delivering our food--was polite, attentive, and welcoming. 10/10 across the board. The interior is cute, quaint, and slightly intimate--perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Another 10/10. Now, the food--fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every bite was satisfying. I especially appreciated the pacing: salad first, then warm bread, followed by the main dish. The timing was seamless--no delays, no wondering when the next course would arrive. I'll also add: I'm not a big pasta person. I only crave it occasionally, and when I do, it has to be really good. I'm so glad I chose Due Fiori to satisfy that craving because the pasta was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.

I believe they have you tip at the counter when ordering food before any service is given or before you're even sat is given which isn't my preference. The other issues was that the table was so small, and the food wasn't coursed out right, the table quickly became over crowded and the servers sort of just drop it whenever without prepping more space beforehand, I felt rushed to box food I wasn't finished with to make room for another incoming dish. The backyard seating is quaint, overall homey vibe. Pizza was just OK, the Cacio e Pepe was good as well as the bread service. Would come again, but my expectations will be just a little lowered for next time.

Im so glad they were able to revamp this place to a great pizza joint! It looks really nice inside. Our server, I forget his name, the Asian dude, was very attentive. We got water immediately and placed our order right away. We got the large double pepperoni and it was huge. The cheese curds were delicious as well. The Brussels were good but I prefer the cheese curds. All the food came out quickly. Our server was great. It is a little pricey but its worth supporting this business. Im really happy there is a great neighborhood spot now.

Stumbled upon this place while driving down second street with some friends. It was a quiet Sunday night and they appeared to be fairly new so we decided to stop in to try it out! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by such friendly staff and seated right away. The first thing that caught my eyes was the Black Snapper! I don't know many restaurants that carry it so I knew I had to try it. So I ended up getting the chefs 8piece sushi combo with an order of Black Snapper Sushi and our table shared the Albacore Delight Roll and the Hot Night Roll. The 8 piece sushi came with 2 pieces each of Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, and Albacore and your choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi, including the Black Snapper, was SUPER SUPER fresh and had the perfect rice to fish ratio. I was a little skeptical at first due to the high prices, but the quality of the fish was completely worth the price! Will definitely be back to try the Sashimi next. As for the rolls, they were all cut beautifully and had the perfect amount of sauce. I know some places like to drench their rolls in various sauces to hide the quality of the ingredients, but the rolls were completely balanced and delicious~ The overall atmosphere was super cosy and my friends and I were able to enjoy our meal with some good draft beer too! @Sushi is a cool sushi spot in Long Beach. Its corner location makes it easily accessible, and it's just a block away from the beach. There can be a wait at times, but the delicious food makes it worth it. My favorite appetizer is their garlic spicy edamame--spicy and delicious. I also love their spider roll, which features soft shell crab. The service is great, with staff frequently checking in on you. If you get to sit by the window, you can enjoy some people-watching, which makes for a fun time. I highly recommend this spot if you're into sushi. read more

I love this place. This is the place where I met my boyfriend for the first time, so we try to visit here whenever that sushi craving hits. Lived up to the hype. The hamachi sashimi was amazing. Service was excellent too. Keep it up! And a year or two later here is the most consistently reliably freshest sushi in Long Beach.
