Fantastic little spot if you are close and want some Good quality sushi! The staff were super friendly! We went in with our toddler for lunch, and they immediately wanted to accommodate for him. They offered a high chair or a booster seat, they asked if he needed a menu, or even a kids drink for him. We started off ordering some appetizers. We ordered the garlic edamame and the tempura. They outdid themselves with both! Whatever garlic/oil mixture they concocted was absolutely delicious! I could have eaten that all day. On the menu the tempera comes with 2 shrimp and 4 veggies. They went out of their way and gave us 3 shrimp and 6 veggies, and they were delicious! We ended up ordering 3 different types of sushi. We ordered the Avocado roll, Tuna roll, and a Geisha roll. The presentation was fantastic! All three rolls came on the same board and my wife and I shared our food. There were some garnishments on the platter. I.e: radish, wasabi, and an orchid. It all looked lovely. We were constantly checked in on by our server. Such a solid experience. Then to top it off, after we were all stuffed and couldn't eat a bite more, the manager brings us two plates with mochi ice cream on them. Mind you; we did not order this, but it was such a kind gesture, and of course we ate it! I can't stress enough on how fun this place is. You know what they say about sushi! About 40 of us, with prior notice, descended upon Sushi Love on Saturday after a golf outing. What a great place. The restaurant is beautiful inside, very tastefully done. The menu is extensive with all the favorites anyone could want. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our group was all from Hawaii so sushi is known to us. The chef did a marvelous job with every dish ordered. The food looked beautiful and tasted great. It seemed like everyone ordered a different item and many were shared or passed around. Stopped by here for a late lunch and I was pretty impressed with the overall quality of the sushi. It's a little bit pricier then I would usually like to spend on sushi and I didn't see anything about a happy hour but the rolls were good size which justified the prices. Our server was an awesome dude named Noah! He showed great service and the staff was overall extremely friendly. With limited sushi options on this side of town, I would say this is probably some of the best you can get. read more

We've only been coming to this sushi location the last year. When we first found it we fell in love the food was amazing. The quality was superb. And just within the last couple months we saw it has new ownership and I have to say I'm so disappointed. The quality of the food has gone down. The yakisoba has been so SALTY. the chicken salad has been served differently each time with different dressing. The rolls that have the scallops on top have been kinda skimpy compared the way the old owner served those rolls. The fresh fish quality has not been up to par. The service has been a little different everyone has still been great but it seems a bit chaotic. Overall I'm not sure I would consider this our favorite sushi spot anymore. read more

Sushi was good. Service could have been better if we had wasabi to accompany all that we ordered. We also ordered 530, and had to until after 6 pm to get one part of our order, with no wasabi. We did not get our full order until about 620 pm, our kids were consistently asking how much longer until we get our food, we had asked for wasabi when we got the first part of our order then the waitress we asked we saw her go over and began talking with her coworkers. The garlic spicy edamame is a must, they do have their own fresh wasabi for $2, I was not aware it was extra. Wine was also pricy, I believe I paid $12-14 a glass. Stopped by this place after trying the new nail salon and I'm so happy I did. I've driven here a few times but never stopped. I ordered take away and was gifted a few items to give them a try. The customer service was amazing. Quick transaction and everything was as it should have been. The space is pretty open with a chefs bar to watch the chef create. There were quite a few patrons on a Saturday afternoon. I was told it would be about 20 mins for my food but it was quicker. I don't know exact time. I have an 8 minute drive home and when I opened the boxes the food was still hot and my sushi was still cold. So a huge plus for me. I can say I've never ordered sushi for take away and this experience has changed my mind. Food was delicious and the spicy garlic edamame was one of the best I've ever had. I love love LOVE the sushi here. It is probably my favorite sushi that I can get locally in Arizona. If you are okay with raw fish, I cannot recommend the salmon nigiri/sashimi more. It is the BEST salmon that I have had locally and I go here any time i'm craving a treat. My go to is the nigiri sushi combo with eel sauce which not only comes with 6-8 pieces of fresh nigiri, but also your choice of a california or spicy crab roll. This is always the perfect amount of food for me without feeling overly full. The staff is also very personable and you can tell how much love they put into each item they serve. I really wanted to give this place a great review. It just opened up near my house plus My friend recommended it. We beat the rush, hardly anyone was there when we arrived but it quickly filled up. We placed our food order and waited almost 50 minutes for our food to come out. It was also annoying and rude to watch the sushi chef who is also the owner, Richard, react irritated that customers were clearly upset that we were all waiting to be served. Rating this place a 4 star simply because the fish was top tier, should have been a 5 star but the service we received was poor. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated immediately, server took our drink order and informed us she was going on break and so and so was gonna take over and this is when it went downhill. We ordered our kids food and the albacore carpaccio and asked if she could come back so we could order our rolls... she came back with our food and didn't ask if we needed anything (no utensils for our kids) or if we wanted to put or order in. We waited 30 mins while she stayed by the bar the entire time and eventually just asked for our bill.
