Absolutely LOVE Sushi Mania! The new owners have really turned it up. They are also so nice. I love going for lunch, it's such a zen ambiance. I always leave there happier than when I walked in! Btw, don't sleep on their fried rice! Best around. The sashimi just melts in your mouth. and Korean food on the menu!

This is really our go to location for sushi. When you eat here you will be shocked.. the inside is tiny... maybe 6 tables or so. However the sushi is packed with big flavors and the service is outstanding! If you like sushi this is a great reasonable location that has other options as well. My youngest loves miso soup and for him this is the definition of the perfect miso as long as we hold the seaweed. They have Bibimbop... my wife had it the last time and said it was awesome. (I stole a piece of the meat when she wasn't look it was pretty good!) My oldest lives for their old Alabama roll. It is one of my favorites as well! I like several of their rolls and this time I tried their chicken fried rice as well. It just might be the best I have had since moving to Alpharetta! I'm telling you this is a great location with lots of options for such a small location. You need to try it!!

The food is incredible!! The sushi is so fresh and the service is top tier!! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night and for family to enjoy delicious rolls, sashimi, and other variety of foods. Everyone that tries this place always come back. Definitely 10/10 and must try!

They have this huge sanitation machine you must walk through at the entrance that apparently sprays you upon entering the restaurant--thankfully it was off when I entered because I wasn't looking to get sprayed with chemicals. In contrast, the waitress was seemingly frazzled and forgetful in such a small and empty restaurant. The positive aspect was that I enjoyed my sushi but I ordered a basic tuna avocado roll that it's hard to mess up. The specialty rolls just didn't seem appetizing.

We had such a wonderful experience here. The owners were very accommodating to my future father-in-law, speaking his language to help him order off the menu. There was no language barrier and it made things all the better..! I'm pretty sure the chef even made a custom roll from a range of preferences he gave..! You can't get that just anywhere. Things you should know: I. PARKING Sushi Mania is within a plaza and shares a free parking lot with the adjacent businesses. There's always an available space. II. SERVICE Outstanding..! We'll be back! III. QUALITY Everything was fresh. I like how unique and quirky the interior is ~ it makes it rather cozy to sit inside and makes you feel at home. IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating for a Monday evening. We saw a few to-go orders come and go so their online presence must be great..!

FOOD: price has gone up so please take a look at the updated photos below. It is very $$ for the quality. The salmon honestly tastes like hmart quality sashimi- not fresh, fishy taste, crumbles in the mouth. The yellowtail nigiri was also cold -- which is a bit odd(?). The rolls were okay-- the shrimp temperature was probably the best one. The squid nigiri for $9 was not worth it. SERVICE: when we first walked in, noticed that our server was sitting in the corner with energy drink on her phone and the owner/sushi chef was at the bar on his phone. The server greeted us but the chef did not seem amused nor make eye contact with us. During our meal, not once did anyone come to refill our water nor ask how the food was. AMBIANCE: decorations are tacky/out of place and it was not the cleanest (dusty). It was also a bit dark in the restaurant. There are way better quality sushi restaurants out there for the price (I can be messaged separately and I can give some recs).

4.5 stars. We came here Friday night for date night. It wasn't too busy and got a table right away. I love the quaint atmosphere, very cozy and romantic. We ordered the toro sashimi special. It was amazing!! Omg we should have ordered two. All of the fish were extremely fresh and melted in our mouth. Definitely our favorite dish of the night. Would come back again just for this. We also ordered the aloha roll, sushi mania roll and falcon roll. Wow these were huge rolls (for sushi). The portions are very generous and include lots of fish (less rice which is good). The aloha roll was our favorite out of the rolls because it has a kick to it and less heavy than the other ones. The service was very attentive and I think the owners are Korean. They were all so nice and friendly. They have many Korean dishes as well so im excited to try those next time! Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere, fresh fish and this may be our regular sushi spot.

When my sister told me the name of where we were going for dinner, I had to reserve my Pavlovian desire to roll my eyes and brace for mediocrity. The name Sushi Mania does not inspire feelings of epicurean greatness. As it turns out, it's awesome. The interior is small and cozy, a limited number of tables with a sushi bar. I love that style. The folks running the place are super friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensively sushi but also carries over a few Korean dishes. I saw a stone bowl bibimbap and Korean ramyun on the back page along with chapaghetti, which was what I had. Chapaghetti which is basically like a version of jjajangmyeon has house-made sauce served with udon noodles. I was a little worried it would come out of a package since that's what I'm used to. Enjoyed that. If you're looking for somewhere cozy with things for everyone, this might be a good spot for you.

Sushi Mania is my go to sushi spot north of the perimeter! The customer service and food is outstanding, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. My favorite items on the menu so far include the fried beef gyoza, and the snow cone sushi roll. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the mood for sushi.

This was our first time at this sushi spot and loved it! We went on a Sunday evening and found this restaurant on Yelp as we craved sushi. I'm so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious! They even changed the tv channel for us to watch the NFL playoffs! We ordered the "choose 2 rolls" for $17 which comes with a small miso soup and ginger side salad. The two rolls we chose were the Yumi Yumi roll (fried roll) and the shrimp tempura. We also ordered the Baked Salmon roll which was bigger than both other rolls combined! It was simply delicious! Service was super fast and refills were plentiful. I definitely recommend this sushi restaurant. They have many many rolls to chose from, especially cooked rolls! We can't wait to come back soon!

This place honestly amazed us. We came here for our first time following a couples massage. Their Spider-Man roll was our favorite one, this is the one that has the soft shell crab in it. We were happy with all three rolls as they were very well crafted, but the Spider-Man one was definitely the best, especially with the toppings that it had. We will come back again for sure when we are in this area.

High quality sushi with nice variety. They also have several non-sushi choices. The space is fairly small. However, having visited between lunch and dinner (about 3 pm on a Saturday), securing a table wasn't a problem. Service was friendly and helpful. If I had any complaint, it would be that the pricing is a bit high relative to what you get. This may be somwhat typical for the neighborhood. I would return if in the area but probably would not make a special trip to come here.

The service was great and the food was good. I wasn't impressed by the rolls, but my sister was a fan and I've really only had rolls worth eating at one restaurant before, so this is no exception. I prefer nigiri, and their salmon as like butta. Big thumbs down to their version of spicy tuna, though. It was like brunswick stew with hot sauce. Hands down the BEST sushi in Atlanta and suburbs!! I moved to the suburbs from Buckhead and stumbled upon Sushi Mania and fell in love! The sushi is the most delicious and freshest around and Ana is the most pleasant person to great you when you walk in the door. My friends drive from Atlanta to have sushi here with me! Shrimp Killer 1 and Kiss of Fire are our favorites but you cannot go wrong with anything! So thankful they are close!! read more

Love this local place. Nice mix of traditional and unique rolls. We like their baked rolls like the m-80 and crunch bomb. We always get takeout and the order has always been correct and on time (even though they never take down my name or phone number!). It's our go-to for takeout! read more

Staff is flawlessly nice and hospitable. The food is don't very well with a unique delivery of traditional menu favorites. Example is the volcano roll, must have. Also got the sashimi yellowtail, fried rice with chicken, rainbow roll and spicy tuna. All were perfect. Overall gotta day love this place the food and staff. Recommend this one read more

Me and my family favorite sushi place where we like to come almost every Saturday . I even spent my last birthday in Sushi Mania . Very nice ,hospital environment, pleasant music , you always can to have conversation with your company because it is not loud restaurant . Great sushi and fantastic atmosphere from authentic owned family , I feel always like home , when I see smiling faces of Anna, Kenny and David . We moved couples years ago from Johns Creek to Vinings , and we still can't find restaurant like that . So we just rather to drive 30 minutes to eat our sushi here . All sushi made freshly in front of you . Great , big portion sizes , plenty of fish on each sushi . Very beautifully decorated , great job of Kenny and David . Best Sushi in Atlanta. It's a small place, but you will not be disappointed. Anna is the sweetest waitress you will ever find. Ignore Ryan and Carolina's reviews. I was there. The couple was angry coming into the restaurant and their review had nothing to do with the service or food. Anna is the sweetest waitress you will ever meet, and she bent over backwards to please them, including comping Carolinas meal. Shameful on them. read more

My family and I have been going to Sushimania since their opening night many years ago (when they were still in Brookhaven). I cannot express how good their food is, so much so that we'll regularly drive to their new location because nothing else has come close. Anna and Kenny are amazing hosts, always polite and professional. They're just good people. If you're in the area, and you're a sushi fan, give them a try - you won't be disappointed. Some of my fav roles: * Green Special Tuna Roll * Rock Shrimp Roll * Kiss of Fire Their oyster shooters are great as well, and my personal favorite is the Uni with quail egg. Enjoy! read more

I order take out sushi from here very frequently and today I decided to eat in for lunch. I ordered a glass of cabernet with my sushi and when I got the bill, they charged me $30 for 1 glass. They didn't even ask me if this was ok. The brand they gave me cost $ 20 for the bottle! When I asked them about it, they laughed and said they didn't know. They lost a customer and I will no longer recommend them. read more

This was probably the worst sushi place I have ever been to. The food portions were tiny for the price, i had the salmon and tempura plate and the Salmon was the size of two fingers put together. My girlfriend ordered sushi, which was supposed to have shrimp, and found that half the prices had no shrimp and those that did were thimble sized pieces. We asked for a side of eel sauce and instead of getting a small ramekin full it hardly coated the bottom. When the sushi was pointed out to the waitress she just grabbed the plate and said, "if you don't like it I'll take it away, do you want something else then?" This has been one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Come here only if you want to be ripped of or insulted. Good luck. read more

Great place! My wife is pretty picky about what fish she will eat with her sushi and loves spicy and crunchy tuna. It was not on their menu but they offered to make it special for her. It was DELICIOUS we have gone back once and they remembered us from seeing me weeks before. Called to place a to-go order just now and they again remembered us and the spicy tuna. Awesome. They made our night. They will also be very honest about what they recommend or don't recommend on the menu and why, which is very refreshing. I highly recommend this place. Only thing is the restaurant is pretty small so call ahead of your going at a peak time and don't like to wait a few minutes. read more

Visiting from out of town and was in the mood for sushi. Found Sushi Mania on Yelp and read the reviews. They were right on target. I had the yellow tail delight. Wow! Smooth creamy texture with a hint of citrus and spicy kick of jalapeño. I also had a regular rainbow roll which was very good. The green salad has a very tasty light dressing and had avocado. Great sushi, great price! read more

The freshest sushi in Atlanta! They moved from Brookhaven and are dearly missed. There are other sushi restaurants that have opened up in Brookhaven and they do not compare to Sushi Mania. Alpharetta area is very lucky to have Sushi Mania. Hot Night Roll is highly recommended! read more

I know Kenny cheif sushi master from california. The food was so amazing. I love his delicate piece of sushi and sashimi. My favorite is kiss on the fire roll. Its gotta have try. I love this place! It is small and quaint. The sushi is the best sushi I have had anywhere. And I have eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants. Kenny is a master at making sushi. Everything is so fresh and presented gorgeously. Anna, Kenny's wife, greets you at the door with a smile and remembers who you are when you return. Love the chirashi here! We used to live in Cobb County and liked Umezono's so we are happy to have found our go to Japanese place after moving to Johns Creek. The server was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. But it's a bit pricey. Portion was quite small. When we asked for a warm udon, we were told that they used the last broth and no more udon for the night. It was only 6:30pm on a Saturday night and there was only one other table with patron. I called about a roll that we received but did not order and about a roll we did order but did not received. The guy who answered the phone passed me off to the chef. Once the chef understood what happened & that I just would like a credit for what wasn't received he went to pass me back to the original guy who was then heard saying that he didn't want to talk to me. The chef explained to him that all I needed was a credit to which the guy exclaimed that the manager was needed because he didn't know how to operate the system. The chef then confirmed they had my information and would apply the credit. A few minutes later I called and asked to speak to a manager on duty and explained what had happened; needless to say he didn't seemed phased by it one bit. A few minutes later I received a call from the guy I had first spoke to and he proceeded to question me about why I called to complain on him. And when I stated he was unprofessional due to his responses, I am then told that I don't mean anything. At that point I flat out hung up on him. read more

It was a fun experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we arrived just before the dinner rush, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. More importantly, my wife enjoyed herself, which was the whole reason for the visit. For starters, the restaurant wasn't ready to open. The doors didn't open until approximately 10:10 AM, and employees were still actively preparing the restaurant while guests waited. The seating process felt chaotic, and overall the staff appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic. Everyone--from the hosts to the servers to the kitchen staff--seemed to be moving at a pace slower than molasses. It certainly wasn't the energetic brunch atmosphere I remembered. Our server, was particularly disappointing. Despite arriving early, we waited over 30 minutes for our food while multiple tables seated after us (with different servers) were already eating. We repeatedly had to ask for water refills, chip refills, and basic service needs. Whenever we needed him, he seemed to have vanished like the last tortilla chip in the basket. The service issues continued throughout the meal. We requested to-go boxes and were handed a stack of five-plus containers, but no bag. After waiting, I eventually had to track down another server myself to get one. At that point, it felt like I had been promoted from customer to assistant waiter. The most frustrating moment came at the end of the meal. Before we had even requested the check and while I was actively packing leftovers into my to-go containers, Blake seemed overly eager to clear the table. In the process, my to-go containers were knocked to the ground, and my phone ended up falling and cracking. What should have been a routine cleanup turned into an expensive and frustrating ending to an already disappointing experience. To make matters worse, prices have increased significantly. I would not recommend the huevos rancheros. For the current price, receiving what amounted to two small eggs and roughly a quarter of an avocado served over chips felt underwhelming and difficult to justify. The one bright spot remains the pancakes, which continue to be consistently excellent. I've enjoyed Superica in the past, which makes it especially disappointing to see the decline in service, attention to detail, and overall value. She was so nice and friendly) explained us about menu because we were new to this place. I ordered chirashi And my husband ordered ceviche and yellow tail delight roll and umm.. i dont remember the name of other roll he ordered, it had spicy tunua and avocado on top. anyway i didnt expect much about their chirashi because someone tried their chirashi and left them a negative review about it . Chirashi served and i was like "wow really?" Their chirashi was almost best i've ever had Portion was so generous i never seen any place put this much fish in chirash bowl . And yes with all different types of fish . Trust me u wont see any better chirashi bowl than here at this price and even at higher price in atlanta!!! I loved it and im pretty sure i will visit sushi mania again!!! I want to mention about rolls and that lovely ceviche but i might stop here this review is already long enough. read more

I love, love, love this sushi joint. It's probably one of THE best in the area. All the other good sushi joints are too far. Price is not cheap because the quality of the fish is superb. Make sure you know what kind of fish you like, fry or raw, etc. otherwise you won't know what you will like. Servers and chef were extremely helpful and attentive too. I've been coming here for years, since their Brookhaven location and these are some MUST tries: Spicy rainbow roll, Baked green mussel, Halibut with Jalapeños, yummy crunch, Alaskan roll, Shrimp Kill 1 and 2 (only if you like spicy), omg.. I think the whole menu hahaha. These are all raw, except the mussels. I personally do not eat cooked rolls so I'd probably ask the server or chef. Oh, they also have cooked, traditional Japanese style entrees. Definitely family friendly! Try their Udon noodles if you like soup/noodles. read more
