Great find! The sushi is fresh, reasonably priced, and the rolls I've had have been delicious. Also it's clean which is extremely important to me- especially for sushi. (health rating of 100). The only down side is the ambience. It's very causal- I wish it were a little nicer on the inside because it'd be a perfect date spot. (It still would be fine for a casual night or lunch.) read more

This is one of those places that I almost don't want to write a review for to keep the crowds away. We recently moved to the Atlanta area from Southern California and are fanatics about our sushi. I can't believe how lucky we were to move so close to Sushi Mania! The rolls are amazing. I don't like a lot of sauces and the rolls we've tried (almost everything on the menu) are extremely well balanced and let the fish really shine. I love me some wasabi, but don't dare add anything to the rolls because they are perfect exactly how they are served. My current favorites are the Camden and Alaska roll. Very delicious sushi. My brother and I went because we were craving sushi and sushi mania was a few minutes away, but it's hard to spot from the road. We just yelped sushi and this restaurant came up. We got 4 rolls they were all very delicious, my personal faves were the baked rolls... Sooooo good. Service was very good as well, I never got my servers name but she was extremely sweet. When I was outside about to walk in I saw her greeting her guests good bye. That was awesome. read more

They used to be in buckhead before, now they moved to Alpharetta, and I notice a lot of customers followed them to Alpharetta too! Now you can imagine how good is this place! This place has gone way down hill since the last time we were here 3 months ago. The prices went up, the food quality and portions down, and service is non existent. I ordered online for pick up. Yellowtail nigiri, 2 salmon belly nigiri, toro nigiri, sweet shrimp nigiri, sea urchin nigiri, salmon belly sashimi, shrimp tempura and miso soup. All the fish tasted very fresh. Total for all I've ordered about $100. Prices might be higher than typical, but you get what you paid for. This is a hidden gem. The food is very good and they have a variety of non-sushi items on the menu as well. Great customer service! The sushi chef came out and talked to everyone in the restaurant to see how the food tasted. He is very passionate about his creations. My friend and I go to this place almost every week. I tried many places, but I think this place has the most fresh shushi in Atlanta. Every time I go this place, I am satisfied 100% with the taste of shushi and their service. I heard main chef made many sauce and dressing by himself. I do not understand the extremely positive reviews. My daughter and I had chirashi, spicy tuna and a rainbow roll. These came with soup and salad. The salad was underwhelming and the tofu in the soup was chewy. The spicy tuna was rather flavorless and overly puréed. The fish on the chirashi was mediocre at best. The fake crab roll in the rainbow was quite poor and the top had flavorless shrimp, under ripe avocado, and smoked - not raw - salmon. They were out of Saba (mackerel), toro, and hamachi on a Thursday evening. There is much better sushi 2 miles up Jones Bridge. read more

It was very quiet on Saturday night which always worries me when a place is delicious. I got a glass of wine and the M-8 and the SSC and devoured them. New owners have only had the place 4 weeks. They were very friendly and gave us free miso soup and sweet potato chips. We had the scallop sushi which was amazing. The octopus salad was very good. Gave this place a try while in the area. One of the best sushi places in north burbs. Very fresh sashimi, big portions. Had two excellent rolls, yellowtail delight and an albacore delight. This place is super tiny so I'm glad we didn't have a problem getting seats. The place was very clean, well set up, and the staff was very nice. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was really good. Took my family of six here since our favorite sushi place is closed on Sunday. Everyone order something different and everyone cleared their plates. My daughter who has lived in Hawaii said it was the freshest tuna she's had since moving back to stateside. The salad that comes with some of the meals had a sesame seed flavor to it. My husband and I decided to try this place tonight for the first time since our friends recommended it. Everything was delicious! I've been a sushi fan for years and tried sushi all over Atlanta and by far this was one of the best. I absolutely loved the ginger dressing on the salad, it wasn't the cheap generic ginger dressing that I always encounter at sushi spots. I tried the deluxe nigiri sushi dinner--which had great variety--it had 10 different sushi with a california roll. My favorite was the mackerel. I liked the atmosphere it was small and cozy. Walked outside and called 2 mins later asking for a reservation. Was asked if I had any kids in our party and she told me she would hold the table for me for me if its four adults.
