I come here very often as it's only 5 minutes away from our house. I can say this place has "high quality" all you can eat sushi. After the second visits, they still had the consistency of the quality, not like other all you can eat places. Wonderful service and very good selection of sushi and more! Quality is excellent as well! We did the all you can eat menu for $21.95 per person which has most of the main menu selections available. If you pay cash you get a $2.00 per person discount! We were very satisfied with everything we ordered! Items came out quickly and were nice and hot if they were supposed to be hot, such as the soup and Crab Rangoon (so good we ordered twice!) and the Goyza. I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt despite the negative reviews. That's 20 something dollars I'll never get back. My stomach is still mad at me. Sushi Hell, how do you screw up sushi aside from serving it after it's been sitting out, the texture was terrible and any hint of flavor was undetectable. The sushi was good but not great. Got the feeling they make the sushi rolls bigger so they fill you up and you don't keep ordering more. The spicy tuna was good but the tuna was ground up with the sauce and whatever they put into it. Wasn't crazy about it being ground up I like to see the actual tuna and avocado. The fish was superfresh and delicious, the rolls were the best ever, many textures and the presentation first class! Even an orchid flower on the plate! We went in a busy Saturday night, but still we were seated immediately, it was our first time and they have "all you can eat Sushi" for just $21.95 per person, we ask how we order since it was our first time and they explained right away, food was coming out promptly after we order each time, Service was Great, they keep checking on us if we wanted to order more and they keep filling our waters constantly, food was really delicious, and they serve you a lot, yes you need to finish all your plate cause if not they charge you but then you really need to know when you are getting to your limit. I've been to many sushi restaurants in the Chicagoland area, including All-You-Can-Eat buffets, and this by far has the best quality for the price they offer. Incredibly fresh fish and amazing wait staff. I've been here three times since they've opened and they are always consistent with their service and food quality. I've even brought other foodie friends to gauge their opinions and every single one have loved Sushi World. They also have BYOB with NO CORKAGE FEE. I mean, come on! Super disappointed with my order from this restaurant. The quality of the sushi was just not there. I ordered for two people, sashimi and regular rolls. There was way too much rice in the rolls. The avocados and cucumbers in the veggie roll were old. The spicy tuna roll didn't even taste like tuna, and the texture was super dry. The sashimi was even worse, the fish literally tasted old and smelled. Tried so hard not to gag just remembering it. We ended up throwing most of the sushi away, what a waste! This has been one of the best buffets I have ever been to. It's a little bit pricey ($22 per person) but they sell you good quality food. The chefs prepare the food fresh for you to order. The only catch is that what ever you don't finish you have to pay for. So make sure you eat everything you order. My advice is to take it slow. Order one or two items at a time to see how you feel. Easily one of the best sushi spots for miles. I am usually turned off to all you can eat sushi places but this one takes the cake, the sushi cake that is LOL. They are BYOB and I like to carry around my yucca kale flax seed and vodka smoothie with me where ever I go. Went in for $17.99 all you can eat lunch with my friend. Restaurant atmosphere was clean and modern. Sushi and maki was ok. They use a lot of rice on the rolls and little fish. Didn't like how the fish in the maki rolls were chopped and mashed, not kept whole. The biggest downfall written in small print on the menu, is that if you don't finish your rolls they will charge you 50c per piece and $1.50 per signature roll! Make sure you eat all of it because even if you have some rice left over you will be charged too! I would say take out sushi from Mariano's, Fresh Farms, or Whole Foods is better tasting and more worth it. read more

I've ordered delivery here twice, and the online ordering experience was simple and easy, takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get your food, and delivery driver wasn't too friendly but the transaction always goes speedily. The only two reasons for my 4 star rating is that both times I've ordered here part of my order is always "out of stock" which is really disappointing after I've already got all excited to eat my selections, and also the sushi can sometimes be a hit or miss. The food is okay but the service is horrible. I have been here a multiple times since it's nearby, but I will definitely not be coming back after today. The restaurant is an AYCE which means the customers are allowed to order more than one time. We had to wait 45 minutes for our second round of sushi. I have been to different AYCE places and understand that it takes awhile to make all of the orders, but we have never spent more than 2 hours at these places. When we mentioned that we have been waiting for awhile, the server said it's because we ordered too much. She said we ordered more than 50 pieces; we ordered about 20 pieces of sushi and one roll. The server also commented that we had our first order already and seemed to imply we have had enough.
