Good food which is an interesting mix of Mexican and Japanese cuisine. It's really unique and I'd recommend trying it! The service could be slow but the ambiance was nice

Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas. Where's the shrimp???

Had high hopes for this place. We each ordered 2 shrimp ceviche tostadas. When the food arrived, it was basically a pile of mixed veggies, and only a few pieces of chopped up shrimp that we had to search for. We asked Vania, our server, about it and her response was quite rude. She basically didn't even check out the food when we tried to show her. She didn't offer to let the manager or kitchen know. Her attitude was like it's what you ordered, yes, it is but to pay $29.98 for 2 tostadas with a ton of veggies and probably only one piece of shrimp that was chopped for 2 tostadas is robbery. To top it off, Vania was so rude, she acted like she was right, and only thought of her self. She needs to have an attitude adjustment if she wants earn better tips as a server. Tipping her $10 was a mistake, she deserves $0! We won't be back, food was disappointing and the service from Vania was even more disappointing.

Grilled octopus No rice, no beans not even tortillas.

Sushi rolls we got where good and my husband got the grilled octopus, but it's way over priced. We also got old tostadas and asked the waitress for new ones and the place is so dirty. Walked to the bathroom and the whole floor was dirty so slippery we almost fell. Never again we would go back.

The way they never remove things that have already been used and the food still hasn't arrived after more than an hour.

I remember when I lived in the South County area, it was one of our favorite restaurants. The service was excellent, and I don't know what happened, maybe it's new management, because the service is terrible. The way they treat customers is very unpleasant. The service takes forever; you order something and they never bring it until you have to get up and go get it yourself. It's like they're giving you service with a sour face and a very unkind way of approaching you, as if they're doing you a favor, not the opposite. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM THE WAITRESS

Delicious food! Such a fun concept. The ceviche is great. So is the sushi. Good atmosphere. Fernanda was amazing!! We will be telling all our friends about this place (-:

Grilled octopus and two specialty sushi rolls

I drove down from near the Canadian border to try their grilled octopus. Absolutely spectacular. It's surprisingly not fishy but the texture is as expected. I have to ask why they combine Mexican and Japanese, and they explained that this is a Sinaloa cuisine and the difference is that the sushi is cooked rather than raw. Regardless, it is absolutely delicious and worth the two hour drive

The micheladas were so good! We even asked if they sold the mix which they do. They keep their dinning area clean and ready to serve. They're service was excellent our server Vania was very accommodating to us and our kids. I would definitely come back.

Utterly amazing!!!! Best sushi fusion ever. Ate twice in 3 days time . Both times 5 stars!!!!

I love the idea of this restaurant and do think the food is amazing. Only thing is that it is super pricey! The drinks were not that strong either. But I love to support my local businesses so I come when I want to splurge.

    Who knows? Nothing good

Not good. I was excited and hopeful to find a cool new spot on pacific highway; but this place missed the mark. Kinda confusing. $19-$25 for one 12pc roll of 'sushi' that doesn't even have any fish or fresh protein in it? All rolls are flash fried and have imitation crab involved. It was just outright not good.... Especially for the price. We did not try any of their Mexican food menu items, which I saw a whole fried fish and shrimp/avocado stack that looks descent. So maybe start there... Sad that 1 alcoholic beverage was $12 as well. Just for 1 shot vodka. Good luck but don't get excited.....

Good day, Yelpies,…read more There's something quietly remarkable about a restaurant that survives not just decades, but generations of changing tastes--and still manages to feel relevant. This establishment, which first opened its doors in Seattle in 1967 before relocating to Sea-Tac in 1976 under the guidance of the original owner's wife, carries with it more than just longevity--it carries legacy. Its name traces back to Lima, Peru, inspired by Las Trece Monedas--a folkloric tale of a humble young man who, armed with only thirteen coins, pledged unwavering love and devotion to win the heart of a wealthy man's daughter. It's a fitting origin story for a restaurant rooted in perseverance, passion, and heartfelt hospitality. Half a century later, those same values echo through every plate and every interaction. The menu delivers consistently satisfying fare, and the service operates with a rhythm that only comes from years of refinement. But perhaps most impressive is the sheer ambition of it all--executing quality food around the clock, 24 hours a day, is no small feat. It's the kind of operational endurance that deserves recognition on its own. Whether you arrive for breakfast at dawn, a late-night dinner, or anything in between, this is a place that meets you where you are--and feeds you well when you get there. Cheers --The Dutchman

While looking over the menu, I had a 16oz Spacedust IPA for $8.50 and my girlfriend had a 16oz Mac & Jack for $7.50. My girlfriend and I shared the medium Tuscan Chop Chop Salad for $11.50: romaine, smoked gouda cheese, turkey, salami, tomato and garbanzo beans with white balsamic vinaigrette dressing and garnished with grated Parmesan cheese. The kitchen was kind enough to serve our salads on separate plates. The salad itself was light, tasty and refreshing. Staff friendly and real. The dining area and bar was packed but found some spots and hob-nobbed with locals at the bar. Got a drink, oysters for wife and some shooters. The oysters in the shooter were as pictured, plump, tasty with some cocktail sauce - loved them. Was thinking of another round when found wife wasn't so happy with the sad dozen micro-oysters she was serviced. Somehow, I realized the second level resturant was serving better oysters similiar to what was being used in the oyster shooter and we relocated to top level of the resturant. What a difference, different menu, was a fine dining experience - just what we needed so stepped up to the next level. Another dozen oysters, a few more oyster shooters, another round of cocktails, watched the beautiful sunset, fantastic service from the staff, we were totally relaxed and amazingly happy. Definitely will be back and promised my wife 2-3 dozen oysters the next time.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the water and the marina. Service wasn't particularly warm, but efficient. We wanted to take advantage of the rhubarb seasonal desserts, so appreciated the suggestion to take home the desserts from the price fixe menu. We didn't care for the rhubarb cocktails (much too sweet) but they were taken away without any comment and removed from the final bill. My parents love the chowder, and enjoyed it. I didn't care for the consistency. The shrimp cocktail was a fun retro flavor. Crispy celery, creamy sauce, and the shrimp was cooked well. We all ordered the sole almondine and substituted roasted potatoes for the rice. The potatoes were good, as was the accompanying asparagus. The fish was breaded, and topped with ground almonds which were warmed in butter. The bottom piece of fish was unfortunately soggy, and I prefer an almondine sauce when it's made with sliced almonds. It was a little flat tasting. But overall, the dish was good. The desserts were average. The sugar crust on my father's creme brûlée was too thick and flamed a little too hard. The slump was tasty, but the ratio of filling ro cake was unbalanced (too much cake). The cheesecake was a good texture and the rhubarb sauce was nicely tangy. Overall, a mice evening and worth $35 for a 3-course meal.
