Love this place! Randomly came across this gem for a late lunch on Friday afternoon. The place is super cute and there's an area with swings you can sit on as opposed to a chair. Loved it. The better part, the food. So tasty and yummy. We had a happy hour appetizer with some ají chicken and it was delicious. We had a few sushi rolls and lomo noodles. Ugh, so great. A solid 3.5 star restaurant on the cusp of Midtown and Wynwood in Miami! I got their chaufa fried rice which was pretty decent and priced well. The sushi rolls were pretty tasty too. They looked hastily made and they were a little skinny, but the GF loved em. The quinoa salad didn't have Avo, as featured on the menu and the staff seemed to think it was extra (it's not). What was awesome were the cocktails! And on Thursday they have BOGO for ladies on their cocktails! The piscos are all such a wonderful treat and pair the meal well. Lots of fun flavors! Suviche is always a great place to be and definitely, and the Wynwood location will always be my favorite! They have parking right behind the restaurant for free and an unbeatable weekend happy hour! We stopped there on Saturday with my mom as soon as they opened! Noon! Of course, it was empty because of the time, we were literally the first ones for the first 20 min. We started with the surprise that on the weekends, they have happy hour from 12-7pm! Including $5 beer or wine, $7 cocktails, and even happy hour bites. From the happy hour, we ordered the Pisco Sour (which is Peru's signature cocktail) and a Chilcano (A Peruvian pisco-based cocktail, which is my favorite one!). Then, from that same happy hour menu, we ordered the Chicharrón de Hongos, and wow!!! Delicious! The perfect balance of acidity and fried texture. As our entrees, I had the Plantain Rolls, my favorite there. It doesn't have any meat or fish; however, the blend of plantains and cream cheese is to die for. My mom ordered the Shrimp Causa with Smoke Rocoto Sauce, and that one was ok. Even though the potato was seasoned perfectly, the fact that the shrimp sit on top of a potato piece with the sauce on top, wasn't as good as how really Peruvian Causa is, using a layer of potatoes, another one of filling, and another one of potatoes. For dessert, we ordered the Suspiro a la Limeña and it was good. There was definitely more cream and caramel. We also had the Alfajores but the problem with putting them on the fridge, it's that it harder the dough so it was ok. Overall, our experience was good and our server was amazing! read more

I went to Suviche yesterday for dinner after reading the menu and seeing a unique selection of Peruvian and Japanese fusion. There was no wait, which was great, and I was even offered a free cocktail due to ladies night (loved that!) Friendly, helpful service, but our food seemed to be lacking slightly. The coconut sushi, bang bang shrimp, and tuna tartare were delish. But the Perfection sushi roll had a fishy taste and odor, plus the ceviche was definitely not what we expected and disappointing (seemed like frozen shrimp, barely any chips). Suviche did have great vibes and nice drinks, and we enjoyed some of the food that we ordered. Hopefully, they improve on the ceviche as that's what drew us to the restaurant. read more

My friends and I came here for HH and were pleasantly surprised about the great deals! The drinks were cheap and the sushi was sooo cheap. I personally didn't try the sushi, but my friends raved about it. I tried the Tuna Tataki, the HH Sampler and the Crispy Rice Croquettes. The tuna tataki was definitely not large, but it was really fresh and the flavors were great. The croquettes had this yummy sauce and came with 4. We recently went for a family lunch this past weekend in Wynwood and decided to have lunch at Suviche, just like the name applies it's a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. The actual restaurant and interior reminded me an old fashioned cevicheria from Lima, and the staff were the typical hipsters but very friendly and helpful. So after glancing through the menu we decided to play it safe and order the following dishes, chicken causa, beef empanadas, oriental fish ceviche, and lomo saltado. Both appetizers arrived at the same time and both were delicious, the causa was very creamy, while the beef empanadas were baked and very tasty. The oriental ceviche came out next, of all the dishes we ordered, this one really represents the fusion of the restaurant's namesake. The portion size of the ceviche was very filling, fresh, while the base consisted of lemon and soy sauce which blended perfectly. We decided to share the Lomo Saltado which is slices of sauteed beef, with rice and french fries. That was one of the best Lomos I had in a long time, even our five year old son took some bites. I would recommend any of the three locations of Suviche for anyone who good food and couldn't decide whether to have Japanese or Peruvian. read more

I was very intrigued to try the mash up of sushi and Peruvian food that is Suviche and was pleasantly surprised. The location: The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Some of the tables outdoors have chairs swings, which from what I saw children loved. The music choice there is great (at least for a 24 year old) they played a lot of rap, throwbacks, and popular music which added a great atmosphere. I caught myself and others dining singing and dancing along to the music. The service: The service is a bit slow but everyone that works there is very nice. Our waitress was such a sweetheart and even gave us free dessert as a apology for the slow service. My only complaint was that the bartender was not wearing a mask. It was a chin strap not on her mouth or nose and she was making drinks. I brought it to someone's attention and she put her mask up but wasn't wearing it properly for some time (15+ minutes) The food: Everything was very tasty. I liked that the sushi had a 4 piece or 8 piece option on some rolls. I always have a crisis on what to choose and this helped me try out a bunch of things without getting over stuffed. My friends and I have decided this is our new go-to place. I love that they try to minimize their plastic straw usage by not offering them with water and hopefully,​ that will soon be implemented to their other beverages as well! The drinks are delicious and It's great that they have happy hour EVERY.DAY. Their maracuya drink is my favorite, and the Kentucky​ sour is great as well. Their corn is yummy - a little salty and very crunchy. If you're into spicy foods, try their spicy corn as well. I believe half of the experience at a restaurant is the service, and so far we have had great servers. Try to get Brad if he's working as he is attentive yet not pushy, and is very friendly. The Suvama ceviche is my favorite item on the menu so far, the only issue I have had is that sometimes there is an ​inconsistency with the quality of their fish IMO. It would be great to see some vegetarian/ vegan dishes on the menu. As of right now, they only have two items that can be made vegetarian, and there are definitely some ways they can incorporate veggies into more of their plates. *Cough* Vegan heart of palm ceviche!! *cough*. Love this spot! They have cute patio seating with benches and swing chairs. Everything we tried tasted fresh and flavorful. Their food is an awesome fusion of Latin and Asian flavors. The seating is comfy as it is padded and there are numerous tables to choose from. Menu: Lots of places in Miami don't have physical menus. I don't know if this is to save on paper while changes are made or due to COVID concerns but you need a smartphone to see the menu. It works by you scanning a QR code and viewing digitally. I personally hate this but that's how it's done here Food. You can order Mahi Mahi, shrimp, and seafood with different preparation styles. I ordered a full size mahi mahi with the mexican -- Flavored with diced onions, tomatoes, and avocado. It was tasty and ceviche can be Pricing. I paid about $14 for a larger size preparation. A few friends and I stopped in here for happy hour (3-7pm for food) a couple days ago! During the pandemic, we realized how difficult it can be to get a table at a restaurant-bar without a reservation, due to the reduced capacities and distancing requirements, so we were thankful that they had a table available when we walked in. They have a large covered patio area where the only seating is taking place at this time. We were hustling to get drinks and food off of the happy hour menu and were told by our server that "actually, drinks are happy hour pricing all day more at all of our locations. Because of these times, they want to keep the drink specials all day." Thank you Suviche for doing this and offering Pisco drinks for $5 and Cusquena and Sapporo beers for $4, because their Pisco Sours are so so incredibly good. They have an original flavor but have multiple different flavor varieties to choose from! I adore the Lychee and Mango ones since they have wonderful juicy flavor without being sugary, thanks to the egg white and nice helping of pisco. I had the Barrel Aged one for the first time, which uses pisco that has been placed and aged in---you guessed it---a barrel for 15 months. It had a refined richness to it that didn't need extra flavoring. The happy hour food menu has small plates for $5-$7 each. My friends and I each got a separate plate and shared them. The original ceviche is always a good choice, with meaty marinated white fish pieces and hearty Inca corn and topped with the addictive crunchy salty corn kernels they give a small dish of to the table. The Almost Perfect Roll is a good choice for those who are squeamish about raw fish since it contains none of it and has a nice portion of tempura shrimp. The avocado and cream cheese go together well for a creamy collaboration to offset the oil of the tempura flakes. I could do without the excess sweetness of eel sauce that comes with the roll. The Tuna Tataki was fresh, from the tuna to the greens it was served on to the roasted peanuts that topped the tuna. It is dressed with nice orange essence, and the roasted flavor of the peanuts brought definition and crunch to the dish. Our server was attentive and informative and was gracious about canceling a drink order, when another friend came to join us, but we couldn't add another chair due to the distancing regulations and chose to close out and leave. He billed us separately with a card reader device at the table, so that you could pay with your card and get your receipt emailed or texted to you. What I liked about SuViche, was that they were able to accommodate our large group. Not everyone had to be there in order for us to get a table. They were very lax and let us hold a large table down while our party trickled in. My boyfriend and I spent about $60 on food and left the restaurant starving. Not only were the portions small for the price, but they lacked flavor. The only dish I enjoyed was the lomo saltado, although there just wasn't enough food on the plate. We also ordered a ceviche and didn't agree with the ingredients added in. It didn't go well together. Last, we ordered 4 half rolls and we weren't satisfied with what we had. Service was slow. Either the server forgot we ordered a drink or the server wouldn't come back for a while. read more

For parking, you are able to park on neighboring streets (you will need to download the parking lot and pay for your parking that way) or in SuViche's own back parking lot (but for a fee). SuViche has a dog friendly (covered) back patio, which was one of the reasons why my husband and I decided to stop by here on a Monday, late afternoon around 4:05 pm. Another reason was that this place has happy hour everyday from 3-7 pm. After we parked (on the street) and walked over here, we ended up walking through the back patio (there is a bar back here by the way) and sat down at a table. I was surprised that a server came out shortly after with menus. After browsing both the happy hour menu and regular menu, we ended up ordering: Complimentary Roasted Corn Nuts- Although salted, the corn itself was plain. But still nice to have something to crunch on. Tiradito Crema de Aji Amarillo, $5 prior to tax (Happy Hour Price)- This appetizer comes with 4 pieces of fish, drenched in Tiradito Crema de Aji Amarillo sauce. Refreshing with hints of fruit, great sauce. HH Sampler, $6 prior to tax (Happy Hour Price)- This sampler came with 3 deep fried, mini, rolls and 2 aji de gallina bites. Both tasted good. Small Ceviche Natural, $5 prior to tax (Happy Hour Price)- Nice size of ceviche. Another refreshing dish of fish, red onion and corn. Michelada Cusquena, $5 prior to tax (Happy Hour Price)- My husband opted for this drink. Arroz Humedo With Chicken, $11.95 prior to tax- We decided to order an entree since the happy hour items were not filling us up. I am glad I picked this dish because the rice was very creamy and flavorful. Filling and glad that the chicken was not dry. ----------------------- (Total= $35.59, after tax, prior to tip) Service was attentive and friendly. It was nice to make conversation with the 2 servers that took care of us during our meal. But all of the employees that we interacted with were friendly (and I do want to point out that they also did speak English. Being in Miami for 1 week, there were some places where some eateries did not have employees that really spoke English or only spoke broken English). I do want to mention that I greatly appreciate that the first server that took our order did come out with some water for our little girl dog thereafter. This Wynwood location has free parking in the lot in the back as well as a large and fun covered outdoor patio! They also have a full bar and great happy hour deals that seem to last all evening... The food at SuViche is Asian/Peruvian fusion. It has a slight twist on the traditional dishes but I find the dishes here solid, affordable and delicious! I recommend the Aji de Gallina and the arroz chaufa con mariscos - sizeable portions and oh so tasty! The chilcanos are also excellent and the prisco sours are shaken by hand not by blender. read more
