Such an adorable shop. This is a perfect example of how Yelp is always a help. I wanted a snack and chose the place closest with the highest yelp rating. When I walked into sweet harmony, I felt like I was walking into a friend's bakeshop and this friend just loves to make goodies. They had a full breakfast and lunch menu, but I was just a bit snacky. There was a wide assortment of muffins, scones and cookies. These tasty treats were all wrapped in plastic which wasn't the most appealing, but I have enough imagination to see beyond. The gooey looking cookies seemed to shine in the corner and catch my eye. Caramel latte, chocolate chip, rainbow sprinkle, chocolate meltaway...but wait a sec, how much are they? Sometimes in when I've had a hankering for a cookie in the BK/NYC area I've been startled with cookies that rang up to $3-5 at the register, but no not here. Sweet Harmony charges $1 per cookie so I felt free to taste away. I went with caramel latte and a chocolate meltaway andddd a large iced coffee for dipping purposes. Total was $4.81. I was pleasantly shocked considering I have paid that price for any one of those items (oops). They emailed me my receipt and I helped myself to milk and sugar. The cookies were phenomenal. Homemade to gooey perfection. I enjoyed each and every bite with my coffee. I highly recommend this cafe if you are in town. read more

Really friendly staff; great, relaxing atmosphere and really delicious food. We've had their breakfast sandwiches, and their California egg and bacon sandwich on their (sweet) Brioche rolls is perfection. The cookies were flavorful and fantastic, the ginormous cinnamon roll was scrumptious, and I've never had a more amazing muffin than the peach and blueberry cobbler muffin. The rain washed me and my daughters into Sweet Harmony today and we are so glad it did! This is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable cafe with metered parking on Main Street. I'm assuming the very sweet lady behind the counter was the owner because she was born to work with people! We ordered three egg and cheese sandwiches on homemade rolls, a cup of homemade chocolate milk, and three cupcakes to take home. On top of that, we were given a free loaf of homemade bread, three free cookies (for being first time customers), and three samples of a scone that I think she said was mango orange. Everything was extremely delicious and fresh. My egg sandwich was exactly what I like, but they were so big that next time I will order one for both of my girls to split. The girls loved their chocolate milk, upon their first sip their eyes lit up and my older daughter exclaimed "Mom! There's pieces of chocolate in here!". The three of us had never tasted a scone before, I was caught off guard at how moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet it was. Now I can say I enjoy a good scone! My grandmother is the only person in the world that I know of who makes molasses cookies. Every year we wait for Christmas to get our hands on a few precious molasses cookies but the molasses cookies at Sweet Harmony are (don't tell grandma!) even BETTER than grandma's! I got to have a bite of each cookie and the snickerdoodle and birthday cake cookies were also fantastic! My older daughter told me (with a mouth full of molasses cookie) that this is the best bakery in the world and she gives it 100 thumbs up! My son loved the cupcake that was brought home for him also! Excellent service and delicious food. I'm vegan and came here under the impression that there would be a decent vegan menu. There was a vegan burger and a vegan chocolate chip cookie, but no actual vegan menu. This was a bit disappointing, but I perked up when I saw a smoothie menu. When I got to the counter to order, I asked if there were any other vegan options. The woman working was very kind and helpful. She suggested that I get whole wheat toast with avocado. I did get that, along with a strawberry banana smoothie. Both items were delicious! So even though this wasn't vegan heaven, I was very happy with what I ended up with. read more

I've lived here in Middletown since I was 3years old. and now experiencing the difference between the previous cafe (Javapalooza) and now the Sweet Harmony Cafe and Bakery, I can now understand the true meaning of Sweet Harmony. The staff are incredibly friendly! So nice and welcoming, And the environment is a nice, chill, jazzy, place to relax. It also carries that "ALL NATURAL" feeling. - especially when you look at the menus and talk to the workers, there stuff is pretty organic and fresh. This however does explain it's prices, but their not too crazy. I like it compared to Starbucks. I would definitely come back again and again (if I have money), but since I'm a broke college student, I guess I'll have to wait till my next paycheck. read more

I adore this place. This is my 2nd time in this area traveling for work, the first time I ate here I ordered a coffee chicken pesto wrap and a salad. Really really delicious, everything was. Warm, delivered quickly and you can tell the people working there enjoyed being there and Mrs O was lovely. This most recent time I went I ordered the hand sandwich with Swiss lettuce and apple slices. Now let me preface by saying normally I shy away from eating fruits with savory meals. But this was absolutely delicious and may have changed my mind on apples on sandwiches. But I think what made it was the bread. Really really delicious (looked like) house made bread that really complimented the apple/ham/Swiss combination. This time I ordered the Bruelle (I think) a coffee blend that was to die for. Wow!! This is the cutest little coffee shop I have ever seen. I had no idea they served food so I am super excited to come back and try. I came here with my boyfriend and the owners were so cute and nice. My boyfriend ordered bananas foster coffee and I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk. It was delicious but really rich, I could only finish about half. We split a berry Nutella crepe and it was delicious! When it came out it had arrugala and tomato with the roast beef. I would have liked to see more roast beef and less arrugala however it still tasted good. And i also got a blueberry muffin. I called in my order because I remembered how long I waited last time when ordering there. When I arrived 30 minutes later my order was "almost ready." When I got my order, luckily I checked the bag because they had forgotten my salad so it took another few minutes for that to be put together and delivered. The vidalia onion dressing is great but the gluten free Mac & cheese was sadly mediocre. The pasta was overcooked & the cheese was unevenly melted & distributed.
