We had a heater next to us but it only helped slightly. Personally, I ordered the matcha latte and chicken & waffles. We got the bacon sampler for the table to share. I will say that all of the food was delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed the latte and the chicken & waffles. They're trying hard to fuse various cuisines but the Tornado Galbi Omurice and Breakfast Tacos did not do it for me. Also, they didn't let my sister get a kids meal. I felt like a groupie chasing a famous band when we were in the South Bay, and decided to try another Sweet Maple. The line to get in was long, but as with all their locations, the tables are managed efficiently with a quick turnover. We never plan on going to Sweet Maple. All of our visits have been last minute decisions to swing by and check the wait. And each time we've gone, the wait has never been too long. Even on Thanksgiving morning, we waited no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. The food is always delicious, especially their potato/brussels sprouts side. I don't know how they make it, but the potatoes are always crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and always perfectly seasoned. I love that they have an offering of coffee and espresso, as well as Ube and Matcha drinks. Maybe you'll find a spot at the restaurant, but the thought of circling around or laying in wait prompted me to skip that. The wait at 12:30 pm on a Saturday for a party of 6 wasn't too long. Twenty minutes or so before seating. Many on the wait-list were small groups. We opted for indoor dining. The food came out quickly. Well, 2 out of 5 orders did. Thankfully that awkward food-getting-cold-please-eat-but-no-one-does moment came to an end. I had the Marnier French toast, requested the fruit on the side, and was somewhat surprised and amused to see 3 triangular pieces, not 4. Alas, sixteen dollars didn't go very far for French toast pieces. I did appreciate the real maple syrup. As for flavor, I enjoyed it. Wished there was more as I found myself still a little hungry after. A friend gave me a piece of the Millionaire's bacon and a bit of the deep fried French toast to taste. The bacon had a slow spicy rise after the initial sweet, smokey and salty hits. The FT, like an extra crispy donut. The wait staff seemed happy, were responsive and efficient. I'd return and try some of the other meals, knowing, as the business manager mentioned, we're paying for quality ingredients. Such a wonderful variety of yumminess- I couldn't just pick one! My tastebuds were doing a happy dance with each bite. Started my food journey with the Balsamic Grilled Eggplant, then went with the amazing Loco Moco, and later devoured the sweet Marnier. We've been to this location multiple times and usually it's a pleasant experience, even with the hour long drive we make to eat here! But the last two times the service has plummeted in quality. First we waited 20 min for a table which we expected. Then we were seated 15 min before a server even acknowledged our table, then our food came before our drinks and some of us didn't even receive what we did order. We saw our server a total of two times during the whole experience and one was us flagging him down so we could pay. The food was okay, not exceptional like it usually is but the entire experience really ruined this location for us. Also, the decor and restaurant is cute but we were located less than a foot away from the bussing station so again, not great. Sweet Maple is absolutely delicious. They are frequently just on the weekends so be prepared to wait. They have two sections for outdoor seating, one to the left and right of the entrance. While waiting you can smell all of the food in the air. The service was amazing too. Our server was very nice and was sure to check up on us without hovering a lot. I ordered the galbi sizzling stone plate and it was amazing. It was giving the same vibes as a bibibop. It came out super hot and was the first dish out. If you want your rice crispier, press your rice against the stone with a spoon before the plate cools down. My bestie ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice. She loved it. I had a bite and the egg was fluffy and creamy at the same time. Mixed in with the rice that was rich in flavor, meat, veggies, and sauce. I would order this next time I visit. We split the Millionaires Bacon Sampler which is a great choice if you can't decide which one you want. All of the pieces of bacon were long and thick. Some had a slight crisp to it while others were firm and chewy. Our ranking for the samplers are citron, rosemary, original, and cinnamon. Citron really surprised us but the slight tangy mixed with sweet and salty from the bacon paired well. Rosemary speaks for itself. It's rosemary and delicious. The original was a great piece of bacon, I found it to have too much seasoning but was still enjoyable since I had rice. Cinnamon was our least favorite. We found that cinnamon didn't pair well with a sweet salty mix. It's was like eating a meaty churro The Matcha Moffle was delicious. You have to be sure to cut it into pieces and not try to take a whole piece in one bite. Since it's mochi, it's going to be on the chewier side. As it was chewy it was also so fluffy. The matcha sauce that was sprinkled on it was delicious. It was similar to a sea salt cream with matcha. The moffle was delicious but I wouldn't be mad if it had more matcha flavor to it. If you get the chance to try out their bacon or other amazing dishes, I would recommend it! Be sure to come early so you don't have to suffer waiting for an hour while you smell the food. read more

They use Yelp Waitlist but you're not able to join the waitlist on your phone, you have to register on their tablet. We were just a party of 2 and ended up waiting around 45 minutes which isn't terrible, we opted for which ever seating was first (indoor/outdoor) and ended up sitting outside. I always think I'm going to get something sweet, but I'm definitely more of a savory fan so opted for the Tornado Galbi Omurice and my friend got the Loco Moco. The food was pretty good but not amazing (like not memorable in any way). I also go the Tiffany Mimosa beacuse I hadn't seen that as an option before and it was pretty tasty. ~~Parking: Terrible. The service was top notch professional the server put me in a 4 seat table. Plenty of room for me to move around and put my cane aside. I also ordered the coffee and it was delish. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to for a birthday brunch with my friends. A couple of things that has really put me off into trying this place were parking and wait time. Indeed, parking is absolutely horrendous. We got there around 10:30am but luckily a person was leaving right as we got there. Even though we got SUPER lucky and were able to park right in front of the place, getting out was difficult and more so because of customers waiting and standing outside blocking us. We also got super lucky in getting a wait time of 15 minutes. We barely beat the rush crowd that came in around 11:00am. They technically use a Yelp waitlist but the waitlist is not available on Yelp for you to join ahead of time which sucks. Moving on, we got seated outside and the weather was grey and cloudy, but it was not too cold. Regardless, they have heaters outside which kept us warm and toasty. These are my thoughts on the dishes I tried: Millionaire's Bacon Sampler Platter (5/5) - I can see why people said this is a must try. Each bacon strip had a different flavor coating. Honestly, I loved the original the best! It had a smoky, honey, sweet flavor. Nice and simple. Everything was very unique and interesting to try though. The bacon is a medium cut, but certain outer parts had that crispy char. Blueberry Moffle (3.5/5) - A lot of people recommended the blueberry moffle, but I thought it was just ok. I think the dish itself is too monotonous texture and flavor wise. I'm glad that my friend and I split this one because I got tired of eating just the one waffle. Chicken Croffle (4/5) - The chicken was very meaty and crispy on the outside. The croffle was flaky like a croissant (my idiot brain did not put two and two together until after I started eating it LOL). I felt the chicken was on the dry side though. It wasn't as moist as I would like it to be on the inside. Everything just felt very heavy and dense. Ube Latte (4.5/5) - This ube latte is actually very potato forward. Many ube lattes just taste sweet. In this case, the ube latte was a bit on the sweeter side, but the ube flavor shines through. I think I would like the dirty ube latte with the added espresso so the bitterness balances out the sweetness. Overall, I think Sweet Maple is worth to try once, and I would be excited if someone invited me to get brunch here. Would love to eat more bacon here.
