    Soufflé egg

sizzling stone pot rice is huge, can serves 2-3 people and flavorful with a crisp rice crust. The soufflé egg with bacon has a wonderful texture and comes with great sides like crispy Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries. The restaurant has a great vibe with beautiful interior and outdoor seating. The staff let us in 15 minutes before closing at 3pm. The things I don't like about are the ube latte that was a bit too sweet even i ordered with less sugar, and the butter fried corn was just average.

Solid brunch spot in the South Bay. I went here with my family on a Sunday afternoon. Expect a long wait. Very small parking lot, I recommend parking at the next plaza over if there isn't any parking avail. The restaurant is pretty small, but the ambiance is aesthetically cute and clean-looking. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The dishes we got were; - French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs - Millionare's Bacon Sampler - Francis Skillet - Hemingway Benedict - Blueberry Mochi Waffles The Millionare's bacon sampler was rlly good, I can see why Sweet Maple is famous for it. It was a good balance of the candied and savory taste. I would order this again to share. The other dishes were good too, but nothing special. I did enjoy the brussel potato medley on the side, which was unique compared to other brunch spots. Overall, good brunch spot, will be back again

Overall: 4.5/5 This place has been on my to-go list for awhile and I finally get to try it. Went during peak lunchtime, reservations are only in-person, and I waited about 40 minutes to be seated. They have a diverse menu with several options to choose from. Food came out quickly despite it being busy. They have seating indoors and outdoors. I wish the staff told us about the 20% gratuity fee in the beginning, so the check was very surprising. Food: - Loco Moco: juicy meat, sauce is similar to a sweet BBQ taste - Savory & Francis Souffle Egg: favorite (also because I love eggs), very fluffy and savory, bacon complements it well but it can be a bit salty, some of the potatoes are also salty - Vermont Cheese Burger: requested medium, meat is juicy, thick and filling, fries are well-seasoned and crispy

You would think a IG worthy breakfast spot would be overrated or not live up to the hype based on their presentation... let me tell you Sweet Maple nails their presentation and quality of food. I had an amazing time try Sweet Maple with my family. Starting off with parking, its going to be tough so you might need to go to neighborhood behind. Seating we waited about 20-30 minutes on a Sunday morning. Their menu has so many food options to try and we had such a hard time figuring out what to get. It took the whole wait time for us to decide, I got the Chicken Croffle and it was huge! Croffle was a great doughy texture to compliment the fried chicken. I tried my Uncle's French toast and it was outstanding, it was thick cut slice and crisp as well. We all split the matcha mochi waffle and it was okay, Im not big into matcha and it felt like a dessert. I wouldn't recommend for an actual meal. Lastly for their ambience, it was vibrant and sleek in their. The tableware felt fancy and modern. I don't know how to call the aesthetic but I would 100% go back and take more family and friends.

Went on a Monday morning thinking it would not be packed, but I was wrong. The whole place was busy. We got seated right away since it was only two of us. Also, we found parking right away since they have plenty of parking around the building. The host did not seem happy to be working on a Monday. She asked for how many and that's it. She had this "ugh" face on. I got the matcha waffles and they were too crispy for my liking, but the matcha was good. It was enough matcha for the waffles. My husband got one of the Benedicts and the dish was good. For the drinks, I did not like how we got them after the food was served so I felt rushed drinking my cocktail. The espresso shakerato was delicious. The watermelon Fizz, my husband liked it and we liked how it had fresh watermelon on top. Definitely will come back to try other dishes and drinks.

It's been a while I have been meaning to try Sweet Maple and finally got the chance to go for it on a random Friday. The place was packed both indoor and outdoors and we put our name on the wait-list. The outdoors was a bit chilly so we opted for indoors. I have to say the service was top notch and very quick..this is not one of those places where the servers take their time to come over to take your order etc. Even though it was super busy, they attended to us promptly which I loved. Once we got the menus there were so many amazing options to pick from. I went with the Hemingway and my husband got the omurice. The omurice was diff from what I was expecting.. I was hoping for the egg to open up like the videos I have seen from Japan but this was a simple egg on top of rice. They also did sub the beef with mango chicken sausage which was great for us. The Hemingway benidict was good too. The colorful plate was great to look at.. almost too many potatoes for me but I could easily share that. I am very glad I discovered a nice brunch place with so many options. I am definitely coming back here with friends and family.

Updating my review after trying them again. Delicious. I really enjoyed the bacon. It is on the sweeter side, but it paired well with our savory sizzling plate. It was a comfy, crunchy, flavorful sizzling beef dish. I really enjoyed the crispy rice. The mochi waffle was amazing ! Soft but crispy texture paired well with the whipped cream and blueberry jam. The ube latte very rich and flavorful. Nice service. Parking is tough but you can park across by the gas station or other surrounding lots. Still crowded on a Sunday morning even at 9 !!!

Very fast and kind service at Sweet Maple that gets very busy during peak times on the weekend! This became one of my favorite places to have brunch in SF for their Asian flavor cuisine and wide options. I also must highlight the aesthetic of both the restaurant and meal items. 5/5 - Tornado Galbi Omurice - Savory and filling! The galbi is well-portioned with the rice provided, and the tornado egg on top of the rice made the whole dish look super put together and aesthetic. Great to share with plenty of sauce and perfect seasoning. If you want a hearty, savory dish for brunch, definitely check this one out! 5/5 Matcha Moffle - Not too sweet and perfectly cooked to be chewy and crunchy at the same time. The matcha flavor is present without being too overpowering, and the cream on the side makes each bite super satisfying. This dish is also great to share, and I can only wish we had 3 waffles for this meal!

One of my go-to brunch spots! Sweet Maple is extremely popular and can get crowded, so be wary. Parking by this location is decently limited, so if it's a crowded day, you might have to park nearby on the street. Inside is bright and beautifully decorated, with sunlight coming in through the windows. We were luckily seated right by them, so we got to bathe in the sunlight. I ordered the dirty ube latte, french toast, and scrambled eggs. The french toast was delicious with the perfect crisp and softness to it and the bacon was perfectly cooked for me. I probably wouldn't order the dirty ube latte again, solely for the price point, but other than that, all the food was a win in my book.

Highlights: Good service - accommodating of stroller Good portion size Food: Blackstone Loco moco Blackstone Bacon was amazing! Portions were generous. Loco moco - as advertised, it had a kick, not a lot but more than the average loco moco. The gravy had a deep and maybe a slight tang which kept it lighter. Complemented the hearty sized beef patty. Portions were generous -- not just the rice but the meat. Ambiance/service: Wednesday around 8:30am, it wasn't very crowded but there were more ppl than I was expecting. I had called ahead to make sure it was fine to bring a stroller for the indoor seating. It was and they were okay with us sitting near the kitchen door though I asked for a table where the stroller was less in the way. They were fine with the table move since all we had were the waters at that point.

Final Thoughts: 4.00/5 This place technically should have been on my to-go list a while ago, but my friends had a really poor experience with this place, so I just never wanted to go. My friends did want to go here for brunch and so this opportunity for me to try it just came up. There was a little wait when we got there on a Saturday afternoon. I typically find that these places do get somewhat more crowded during these times because of the hype and optimal brunch times. Will vary depending on the day and time and perhaps by luck. Overall, I seemed to have a better experience than my other friends did. The food and drinks we got today were quite good. Our service was great and overall experience will be a 4 star today. Food: Tornado Galbi Omurice: 4.0/5 This was my choice today. It came with a galbi and vegetable fried rice base, scrambled eggs tornadoed on top, cherry peppers, galbi for protein, and the demi-glaze all around. The bulgogi is very tender and has a lot of flavor to it. While the vegetable rice does add another component to it, I personally would have preferred white rice with the vegetables on the side or something similar. This is just a personal preference. I just like the simplicity of an omurice dish with white rice though. The egg was nicely done. It's a very thin layer of egg, which I personally really like. It incorporates well into each bite. Demi-glaze was also quite umami, there's a nice balance of sweetness to it, which I enjoyed. Loco Moco: 4.0/5 This was my friend's dish and I was able try it today. The dish has a wagyu beef cutlet, sauted kimchi, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, egg, and rice with gravy. The beef was juicy and the flavor was overall good. This was also something I contemplated to get. Very umami, some sweetness and a bit of a kick and acidity from the kimchi. Side of Fries: 4.2/5 We ordered a side of fries and these are really good. Their fried potatoes in general are really good because it's a nice crunch on the outside with some potato and body on the inside. This paired so well with their dipping sauce. Appears to be an aioli of sorts, but no one quote me on that. Matcha Moffle: 4.2/5 This is their matcha mochi waffle. The plate comes with two waffles and strawberries on top for some freshness. The texture of a mochi waffle is always my favorite because it's slightly chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The matcha flavor does come through and the matcha cream on the side gives it that additional kick of matcha. It doesn't need syrup or anything, but you can ask for it if you have a sweet tooth. My one minute note is the garnish. We could take this off, but the mint leaf just looked wilted on the hot waffle and was unappealing to have on that pretty plate of waffles. Drink: Matcha Paradise: 4.0/5 This drink is essentially a coconut water base with matcha cream on top. The sweetness was nice and it was really refreshing. The cream is thick, but incorporates well into the drink. My one note is that the matcha isn't too strong and I would have loved a deeper flavor for it. Otherwise, this drink is really refreshing. Sweetness was actually also quite good. --------- Quality: Their food seems alright. The dishes came out hot and crispy, so they appear to be made to order. The sweet potatoes were especially crispy and very delightful to bite into. The color of the matcha appears lighter and somewhat more oxidized to me, so I'm not sure what kind of matcha is used for this drink. My preference is a rich ceremonial grade matcha, which has a different color that is more bright and vibrant than this. Price: $$ -- $$$ The prices are definitely on the higher end. Price ranges will be between $15 to $25 with some outliers. Their portion sizes do appear of optimal size. I wasn't able to finish my food (as I never do), but it was a large enough portion. Given the food item though, some of these items can be considered more expensive than your average brunch spot. Service: Delightful Our servers were actually quite nice. There is one main person that helps you, but another waiter did come to serve us while we were trying to flag them down. This seems to be the expectation, but it's not usually the case sometimes. Food comes out within ample time and they do check on you. Ambiance: Cozy Brunch Vibes They have an indoors and outdoors seating area with tents for shade. The interior does look quite packed with tables. Very simple and modern interior though. Nothing fancy, but it does give café and brunch vibes. Location/Parking: Could be better. This place is located right at the corner of S. Blaney Avenue and Stevens Creek Blvd. It is located in it's own corner, which is nice. The parking is interesting though. You could literally just drive right in from the street to one of it's parking spots though, which is not ideal because getting out can be a little harder. They have spots all around, but very limited. Will say that this comes down to luck.

I love the atmosphere here. Very chill and calm place for a slow morning. Love their little table decor also. Service can feel a bit rushed since they try to take your plate away as soon as you finish. My friend plate was touched before she even finish her. Now about the food. I think the food are great but can be a bit more flavorful. I ended up adding a bunch of chalula onto my dish to get some flavor. However I still thing they are worth a try, everyone taste are different.

Delicious Millionaire's Bacon! I love this with their salad! Came around Friday 1:15PM. Still quite busy. It wasn't too busy that every single table was taken and luckily we got parking. Servers are quick, polite and we got our drinks right away. I preferred the Milionaire's Bacon over the Millionaire's Candy. Felt like it had more substance and depth in flavor. I wasn't too impressed with the Holy Cow Salad. Rating 3/5. The sliced galbi did not taste good, tasted weirdly overcooked and under flavored. Everything else taste great! What saved it was the Millionaire's Bacon with the salad which made it taste wayyy better. And the additional scramble egg was a solid too. Matcha Latte was just right, it isn't the best I ever tasted but it fulfilled my cravings for the time being. Plenty of space inside for various side groups. Great for singles, couples and families! Parking? Yes; parking lot, it might get too full at peak time so there is probably some other street parking nearby. Restroom? Yes; wheelchair & handicap may need some assistance depending on stall availability.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jason for providing one of the most thoughtful and…read moreaccommodating dining experiences I've ever had. Living with multiple food allergies can make eating out stressful and, at times, discouraging. Many restaurants try their best, but it's rare to encounter someone who goes as far above and beyond as Jason did. From the very beginning, Jason took my allergies seriously. Rather than treating them as a simple modification request, he took the time to understand my specific concerns and personally communicated with the chef to ensure every precaution was taken. What impressed me most was that he didn't just ask once and move on--he followed up multiple times throughout the process, making sure every item I received was prepared as safely as possible. His level of attention and care gave me confidence that my health and safety truly mattered. Jason's kindness was evident in every interaction. He patiently answered questions, verified ingredients, and double-checked preparation methods. Instead of making me feel like my allergies were an inconvenience, he made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. That level of empathy means more than people without food allergies may realize. The extra precautions taken in the kitchen were remarkable. Jason coordinated with the chef to ensure separate cooking methods were used whenever necessary and that steps were taken to minimize any risk of cross-contact. My food was packaged separately and clearly distinguished from the rest of the order, which immediately showed me how much thought had gone into keeping my meal safe. Even more touching were the notes left on the packaging specifically for me. Those small details demonstrated a level of personal care that is incredibly rare in the restaurant industry. Because of my allergies, my meal options were understandably limited. I ordered a plain burger with sautéed green beans, while my friends enjoyed several different burgers from the menu. Although my meal was simple, it was prepared perfectly. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, allowing the quality of the meat to stand on its own, and the green beans were fresh, tender, and flavorful. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy a restaurant meal with confidence instead of anxiety. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well, commenting on the flavor, quality, and preparation. It was wonderful that everyone at the table could have a great dining experience, despite having very different dietary needs. What touched me most from this visit isn't just the food--it's the care. Jason's willingness to communicate with the chef, verify ingredients, package items separately, use special preparation methods, and personally check in throughout the process transformed what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. For those of us with food allergies, being able to order food safely is something we never take for granted. Jason made that possible. Exceptional customer service is often defined as exceeding expectations, and Jason exceeded mine at every step. His professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine concern for guest safety are truly commendable. I am incredibly grateful for the effort he put into accommodating my allergies and ensuring I could enjoy a meal without worry. Experiences like this create loyal customers, and Jason is a perfect example of how kindness and care can make a lasting impact.

The cashier was extremely nice, and she was very patient as I took a long time to read their GIANT MENU. They have Thai Iced Tea milkshakes, I have never heard of such a thing, and I will definitely try it next time. This time I got a strawberry shake. It was my first day quitting cigarettes cold turkey after 25 years, so I wasn't about to risk my shake experience with a possible dud. The strawberry shake hit the spot, or as the youngins say "It hits." The burger and fries were delicious too, or as the youngsters say "Mad fire bro." I would pass on the firehouse fries next time, they were not fire, they were lowkey nasty, as the kids say. Check out my photos, you won't be disappointed.

ARE WE IN SILICON VALLEY? 4.5…read more One might never know this restaurant exists, tucked away near a Google business park just off Highway 101. You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

We ordered a few items to share and each were spectacular. The shrimp salad in particular contained perfectly cooked shrimp (although there weren't many) tossed in the right amount of sauce. The grilled asparagus were delightfully sweet and smokey. The smoked salmon dip paired with pickles were just the right amount of savory, spicy, and sour. Ambience: very greenhouse vibes. The interior had many live walls (walls filled with viney plants), and ceiling decor of plants as well. Along the restaurant was a long line of monsteras, scattered with fiddle leaf plants throughout. Love how "fresh" it made the restaurant feel. Given their different menus I different times, would definitely try to come back and try their dinner menu. Price: food arrives in small plates (for sharing). A bit on the expensive side for the small plates. However, the taste of each dish is exceptional.

The staff made my dad's 80th birthday perfect…read more I organized a casual drop-in gathering for my dad's 80th -- no private event, no deposit, just a large group coming and going over four hours. Toni worked with me over the phone to make it happen, and when there was a small miscommunication about the vibe I was going for, she course-corrected instantly -- not just in communication but in the actual setup. That kind of pivot is rare. The outside area was ideal for our group of roughly 60 throughout the day -- a mix of high tops, low tops, and couches that gave everyone somewhere to land. Heat lamps on when we needed them, off when we asked. Ellie and Shailyn were exceptional the entire time. I had to leave before I could personally thank the staff, which I regretted -- so I'm saying it here. This was exactly what I hoped it would be for my dad. Thank you, Toni, Ellie, and Shailyn. -- Anton

Didn't need a reservation to sit, but I assume it's much more crowded on the weekends. Parking was fine. Ordered French toast, avocado toast with poached egg, carnitas Benedict, and Churro waffles. Honestly, everything was a bit average and lacking flavor. The churro waffles were by far the favorite and the best deal, price to taste-wise. Definitely get it if you're gonna try anything here. Otherwise, Bloom was slightly lackluster for me. Nothing terrible, but I prefer Sweet Maple as a brunch spot.

The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our table. We had a table inside, which was an intimate upscale casual area with a bar. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for a starter. It was so hard to pick one because everything on the menu sounds so good. Alas, I have a small appetite. The mushrooms were very tasty and a nice start to our meal. For entrees, we had the halibut and prime filet with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Drinks are on the pricey side- I had a Hero Old Fashioned and the Taylor Made, $20 each. They were nicely crafted, so worth the price. They brought out a Carmel Popcorn Sundae for my husband's birthday and even gave him a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch. Service was slow and steady. We had ample time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed, but never felt like our server forgot about us. We spent about 2 hours for dinner. Probably not a place to go if you're in a hurry. I'm eager to return and try some more of the starters. It's the kind of place I'd love to take out of town guests - high quality fine dining in a casual and relaxed environment.
