Made a short weekend wedding getaway in Dallas and this place was steps away from our hotel. Ambiance: 3 Stars when you enter into the the eatery, your are greeted with a modern Thai Lao vibe and open concept seating. There limited tables so you might have to wait. You pick up a menu, order at the counter and grab a table. An "auntie or uncle" or helper will bring your drinks and food. Service: a locally family owned restaurant, you know you will get decent and authentic food. I can see the aunties and uncles cooking away in the back. And we had an opportunity to be taste testers for a new dish they were working on. Food: 4 Stars Though the menu is somewhat limited, the most recognizable menu items smelled wonderful. Due to our short time before the wedding we opted to get following: Pad Thai w fried Tofu. 4.25 Stars This dish was flavorful, and overly sweet. However the tamarind sauce was off a little bit. It was Thai hot but could have been more spicy. Pad See Ew Pork 4.5 Stars The sauce was done perfectly and the noodles were al dente and soaked up the sauce. This what the dish is supposed to be. A sweet umami soy sauce based. The pork was tendered, moist and thinly sliced. Experimental Dish: The Fuwafuwa pancakes were a dish they wanted us to try but the pancake batter kept breaking apart because the batter was supposed to be fluffy and light. The Aunties wanted us to stay longer to taste the next batch but we respectfully declined and but told them we would be back the next we came to Dallas.

I love Thai food so I am always looking for a new spot to get their take on some of the dishes I like. The owner is actually who waited on us. From what I witnessed and it was a good thing is she personally looked over the preparation of our food which contributed to the long wait time. But I wasn't upset. My food came out piping hot and so so fresh. It's like I could taste and decipher the different ingredients. Very delicious. The boba was also bouncy with good flavor. Next time I am out by the airport I will stop in again.

Last minute choice that has become a must for a Dallas visit! Food was spectacular! Have to have a side of sticky rice, just amazing! Service with smile and the food was made fresh to order, hot out of the wok!

A small shop five minutes from the Dallas-Love Field airport, has the potential to be a diamond in the rough. Friendly service and they are happy to explain menu options. San extensive two page menu offers a wide variety of options. I had the combination fried rice and fried veggie rolls to go. Didn't like the tomatoes in my rice. Despite that, rice was amazing.

BASIL FRIED DINNER

A good, quick meal with plenty of flavor. I stopped in on the way to the airport and had the basil fried rice with chicken and spice level of medium. There was plenty of chicken through out, medium was the perfect level. It could benefit for a little more basil but no complaints for such a lunch spot somewhat on the go. Service was friendly at the counter. It's not worth a special trip but if you're staying at the hotels nearby or on the way to the airport, it makes for a good lunch

I tried Green Curry it was decent. Little more salty, put that sometimes is personal preference. Service okay, environment is also ok. They serve with plastic spoon and fork.

Very casual and nice thai spot near the medical center! Absolutely love the natural light and ta windows. Order at the cashier, and they will bring the food out to your table. Workers are very nice and attentive of when you need refills on water too. The pad see ew w chicken was amazing!! So much flavor, and it was suchba big portion even for lunch! Could only finish half of it! It's pristine everywhere. The tables, floors, bathrooms. Love the condiment section, which has everything you need- sauces, to go containers, plastic bags, chopsticks, etc. also enjoyed the wall art with the thailand map and the dallas sign! Lots of seating with outlets! Parking spaces are plenty and huge in the back!

Great food, fast service, and a casual and cozy place!! The curry was amazing!! Lots of flavor. Rice was cooked well, and good amount of chicken. Seating is plenty and good for small and large groups. Also liked how there are outlets next to several tables. Service was great; the cashier was really nice. You order at the register and then they bring the food to your table. Parking lot is big too!

I called and asked if they have boat noodles and the black dude said yes so I ordered 2 and turns out it's not boat noodles it's just basic under average pho. Will never come back. They wasted my time I drove from another city just to be disappointed

It's a cute cozy little place with great service. Food was so delicious! At first, I thought I didn't like mango sticky rice but I just hadn't tried theirs yet 10 out of 10. I also tried the duck fat fried rice, sausage appetizer and Thai lemon tea, which were great also.

One of the best Thai food in city of Dallas! Sweet Rice is a well rounded Thai restaurant with a casual and clean ambience with affordable, delicious food. You place an order at the register and they give you a number to take to your table. Despite it being self-service for the most part, the staff was nice to go around refilling everyone's drinks. The food was absolutely delicious with each dish having so much flavor. We ordered green curry with seafood and crab fried rice. Beware that the spice level was not consistent throughout the dish as the curry was decently more spicy than the fried rice despite both being ordered at the same level of heat. We finished the meal with mango and coconut sticky rice as a dessert and although the portion was small, it was amazing. Overall I was very impressed with the authenticity of the taste despite it being in a white area. I would come back here often as I enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant including ample parking, food, and service. Highly recommend!

Small place but good food! You place your order at the counter and then get your number and a table. There is plenty of seating but not enough during a rush! We came in during a lunch rush. The food came out fairly quickly and all at once. Our drinks came out first and then the food shortly after. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken and #2 level spicy and it was perfect! Perfect amount of heat without burning my tongue off and i'm not usually one for spice. I would eat here again if i'm ever back in the area.

It seems to me that this should not happen ever, but I grant that it's possible that it was an honest mistake. Consequently, we get to spend some scarce weekend time to go to the business and get the duplicate-double charge reversed tomorrow, and will be hesitant to return in the future on the heels of this error. Dining out is a treat until you find that you've been gouged with an obvious double charge. I recommend that you check your statements for recent visits here to ensure that the same error was not inflicted on you as well. Update: we returned to Thai Thai today to give them a chance to make the chain of events described above right, and they fell significantly short. The woman who gave us our refund (for the pre-tax amount, after asking us what we wanted and replying the full amount with tip) did not apologize for our troubles, or offer any additional concessions to make up for their error (running our card TWICE for different amounts at the same time, after giving it to our waiter). I asked for a gift certificate for our troubles/their error, and she refused, still with no apology. See you never again, Thai Thai, for double charging us and doing the bare minimum (not even an apology) to address their "mistake."

This location is takeout only, and its location in Victory Park makes it a convenient spot for quick and delicious food. The first time I came I had the crispy wings, vegetable rolls, and the Pad Kee Mao. The wings were huge and meaty - real chicken. Nothing like what you get in mass quantities at places dedicated to wings. The wings were sprinkled with fried garlic, and the flavor was out of this world. My Pad Kee Mao was also cooked perfectly. I ordered the dish at a spice level 4, and it wasn't overly spicy at all. It was a real treat! The vegetable rolls were my favorite by a hair. They were fresh made and the veggies inside were abundant. The taste and texture of the cabbage inside was perfect. The second time I came I did a repeat with the wings and the rolls. I have rarely ever had "fast Asian" this fresh and made to order. It goes to show that fast food needn't be bad, but still, certain needs in this country need to be met. If you are in the Victory Park area and want some good food done fast and right, this is the spot.

You can tell they brew it and it doesn't come from a syrup. When I sat down, I was instantly greeted, and there were like four different people serving my table, I think that they all work as a team to make sure everything is covered. The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! The two chutneys that came with it one was a cool cucumber, and the other was this sweet and spicy plum sauce. They made samosas!!! They could be soft and cool, or they could be delicious and spicy, depending on chutney you had them with and you had a third option.... There was a bed of pickled radish and carrot that really sit off the samosas as well and we're just delicious on their own. I devoured the entire thing. Then get the entrée. I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection. The wide noodles picked up all that deliciousness from the wok and then combined with the pork... heaven ! They had large pieces of bell pepper and tomatoes. very fresh onions... Just deliciousness. I was too full this time to get dessert, but I'm definitely coming back and I will definitely try it next time
