My friend ordered shrimp spring rolls and soup. The rolls were delicious! My pad Thai was on point, despite the fact that the girl I ordered it from thought I was making a mistake by ordering spicy. First off, I'd like to say I hope this place isn't run by Laotians because kao piek is by far the worst I've ever had ! ( you cannot mess up kao piek ! It's literally broth and noodles!) . My kao piek came cooked and prepared ready to eat . They didn't even care to separate the noodles and broth . No chili oil or any condiments were offered . Instead I found chili paste in my food. I also ordered steamed veggies which came undercooked and stale . I don't think we will be going back to this restaurant for authentic Lao food . Maybe for something simple like Lao sausages , they might be edible. read more

Looks like a fast food restaurant. Food tasted great even though we took it to-go. Recommend the crispy fried rice lettuce wrap with pork, pad se eew (got it with chicken), and the green papaya salad - Laos style. The spice level goes from 1-5, 5 being the hottest. But if you can handle your spice, 5 is definitely manageable and 3 would be a nice hint of spice. 2 for us tasted like mild or no spice at all. read more

I can't tell you how many times I come to this location, it's embarrassing. I have brought my family and coworkers to this spot and they can't get enough either. Every dish I've tried is so delicious. Personally can't get enough of the Tom Yum noodle soup or their Herbal chicken fried rice. Their friend rice in general... oh lord. It's so good. They never disappoint and the customer service is great; Love the team there. I've never left with a bad experience. It's just down the the street from the airport too, if you're stopping by, but I'm always recommending this place to friends and strangers. Love love love this spot. read more

This is a casual place, they are pretty quick for the lunch crowd. The food was pretty fantastic especially the variety overall as well as vegan and gluten free options. As a person who has celiac disease, I love when people such as myself can go to a restaurant and see they understand how to cater to a vast audience, without shaming the customer. What a great little place to eat! I was staying at the Element hotel and it's pretty much in the same parking lot of the hotel. I had the Fresh Rolls with shrimp, Chicken Pad Thai, and a Thai Tea. So good! I got the dinner sized portion of the Pad Thai and it was a ton of food. I'm not sure if the previous reviewers who mentioned small portion sizes got the lunch size, but the dinner has a lot of food for the price. Finally went to try Sweet Rice tonight for dinner with my bf. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was too sweet, and the shrimp were very frost-bitten. Disappointed. My bf had the drunken noodles, and his portion seemed a bit too small for $13. However, his dish was tastier than mine. Although we both requested "2" for spiciness, my Pad Thai was not spicy at all, while his entree was too spicy. I think they need to work out consistency and their recipes some more. This place is walking distance from my home so I decided to give it a chance, Thai food is my favorite. Overall the staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious! I didn't give it 5 stars only because I do think there is room for improvement in the service. I have now ordered multiple times and usually no issue but sometimes im missing little things like cutlery or sauces, one time my whole meal was incorrect but the manager was very gracious to comp meal for the inconvenience. The sauces for both dishes tasted virtually the same (despite how different they should be) -- like bland, extremely watered down soy sauce. They reminded me of canned chop suey from the grocery store. These dishes in no way resembled their counterparts at countless other Thai restaurants. In addition, the noodles in the lad nah were extremely overcooked and mushy, and the chicken was extremely overcooked and tough. There's a lot of positive reviews for this place and I was excited to try their food. It was during the lunch rush so I had to wait a bit longer than expected for my food but it was worth the wait. Everything I ordered was good except the papaya salad, I ordered the Lao style with the highest spice level (1 through 5, 5 being the spiciest) and immediately the cashier comments, you must be Laotian lol because you know we like our food on the spicier side lol. Well I do at least. It was not spicy at all, it had crab meat but it didn't taste like it had any nor the fermented fish gravy (Padek) It was bland to me. So you're better off making this side dish yourself. But the other dishes that I ordered was good.
