Sweetgreens is a pretty decent spot when I want a more put together salad. I typically order here 1x a month (more so recently as I'm trying to eat healthier) and customize my miso eggplant bowl. It's a pretty filling bowl at around $12.50+ - I love adding spicy broccoli and purple cabbage in mine, and the dressing is to die for (miso / spicy cashew - both good but I usually put less to save on the calories). Choice of protein switches from blackened chicken or tofu - and leafy greens usually arugula or mixed greens. Can't go wrong with a little bit of wild rice to balance it altogether. read more

Consistently one of the worst restaurants I've been to in the South Bay. The last time I was here my coworker found a hair in their bowl - and not the long type of hair. It's hard to even think about coming back here after that. I normally order the harvest bowl, which seems healthy but is 695 calories before you add a protein or "premium" toppings. The salad was ok. 1) If you order the "Guacamole Greens" be prepared for NO guacamole ([Wikipedia definition: A dish of mashed avocado mixed with chopped onions, tomatoes, chili peppers, and seasoning]) and instead you get half an avocado that you have to either mash or dice up yourself. 2) Give you the smallest container for dressing with your large salad. As this was my first order from them, I didn't know to ask for more dressing on the side. 3) I added roasted tofu to my salad, which was too salty. Not sure I'll visit Sweetgreens in the future. Very disappointed with this location. I love sweetgreen and have been ordering from various locations for years. This is the closest location to our home so we still order from it despite my gripes below. It's definitely the worst one I've ever been to. The worst: Ordering online for pickup you are guaranteed to have something go wrong with your order. I've have them miss extra protein like ($5 extra!) several times; and while you can get store credit through the app for these mistakes, it's disappointing. Have also had issues several times with swapping out an ingredient for it just not to happen. Even if you do not customize your order their portion control for the ingredients in the dish are wildly disproportionate every time. (E.g. sometimes you get very little protein, sometimes you get a lot; same with the other ingredients.) It just feels like they are randomly adding stuff until the bowl looks full. Some of the employees are very friendly/nice, but others can be a bit gruff towards you. That's why I prefer to order online, however that comes with a high probability your order will have a mistake. Finally, nothing related to the business itself, but please drive carefully in the parking lot! It's usually packed and people drive very aggressive/fast. read more

We tried the "fish taco" and "chicken pesto parm" from the hot dishes section since we thought they were entrees (not salads) like the plates. I didn't realize I wasn't getting a fish taco until I saw the person making my bowl fill it with veggies. Looking back, it's silly I thought that. In the end, we really liked our respective meals! The fish taco salad is flavorful and I enjoyed the fish itself. The only thing I wish was different was asking for no arugula. So, if this is your first time visiting and you're ordering a premade bowl, just make sure you look through the included ingredients first and swap out anything you don't like. I absolutely LOVE Sweetgreen and this location specifically. I was introduced to Sweetgreen by a friend and this is now my fourth time here this year. Although it's a bit pricey I would say the salads are 100% worth it. I do wish they have a better seating area inside as it's a bit small and when it's busy there's no room to sit. I ordered the fish taco bowl - arugula based with quinoa, cabbage and roasted steelhead, tortilla chips, cilantro and the star of the show for which none of the preceding participants would be passingly mediocre but for the all-star lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. Gummy, succulent, quenching, yet modestly subtle - it leaves you wanting more with each savory bite. Similar reaction when I tasted Shroomami and also Miso Salad where your taste buds just pop on contact. Tried this place today based on pictures and Yelp reviews. The interior is similar to a Chipotle where they assemble your bowls as you go through the line. Also similar as it was somewhat noisy with the hard surfaces, but clean and open. It was freezing inside, so I sat at their outdoor patio area (very nice). I ordered the caramelized Garlic Steak bowl, which comes with wild rice, sweet potato, cherry tomatoes, spicy broccoli and a pesto vinaigrette. Be warned, the steak is more like chopped steak from Chipotle, with no carmelization like their photos show and barely any garlic flavor. Other ingredients were OK. The rosemary foccocia I added was light in flavor and texture, a nice compliment. I'll likely return to try other offerings. read more

The salad was delicious, the tofu was warm and all the ingredients worked well together texturally and flavorwise. Good balance of acidity, slight heat and creaminess. Ate every bite and felt satisfied with the salad I chose, so good! The salad was made quickly and was the perfect portion! Price is a bit steep for salad, but taking into account flavor and use of organic or local ingredients when possible it makes it a well-worthy meal. Space is bright and comfortable. It is located in a plaza with Whole Foods and other food eatery's so lots of parking. Their location is pretty small where their kitchen area takes most of the space. It is like a chipotle where you start off on one end by making your own salad or getting on that they already have made. Their is a couple of seating inside but I think they also have outdoor seats as well. Ordered the elote bowl as well as the Chicken pesto parm. They give big portions here and I didn't think I would get full off of it but I did. The pesto one had a spicy sauce which I loved this I add spice to everything and the pesto was good as well and not over powering. They do have levels of hot so I got medium and it wasn't hot at all. Also ordered the elite bowl which was good as well but I feel as though needed more corn. The sauce was good and refreshing. They have lots of salads to choose from as well as sauces.
