However, I couldn't help but notice after our dates were asked to remove their hats, others in the restaurant seemed to be sporting theirs just fine. It's been approximately two weeks since I dined at TBones and I still remember every detail, bite, drink, flavor, and overall experience. In one word - WOW! These three letters summarize the service, food, quality, decor and overall experience! Our server was extremely well versed on the menu ... I even joked and said, "He knows his meat" ... which is not a bad thing for a steak house! We first started with the signature cocktails and ordered the seasonal appetizers - Foie Gras (melted in my mouth and was the most memorable several bites ever); Tuna Poke and the good old Tomato Mozzarella (which you can never go wrong with). And then came the meat - I think I said memorable several times already in this review and this falls under that description as well. I ordered the 24 oz. "bone-in" Rib Eye ... needless to say it made for a remarkable leftover meal. The meat was perfectly cooked and prepared and it simply melted in my mouth! In addition to the main course, we shared some side dishes that deserve stand-alone recognition as well: Brussel Sprouts (oven roasted delicacies with serrano ham), Macaroni & Cheese and the Au Gratin potatoes. My favorite were the sprouts - but I'm a sucker for those roasted gems! And they were prepared to perfection! A glass of pinot noir complemented the main course and I seriously didn't want the meal to end - but my stomach cried uncle before the mid-way point and the rest made for terrific leftovers! Whew! What a way to drop the ball and get your stomach churning after a truly disappointing meal at T-Bones on my birthday. My wife took me and our granddaughter out for dinner on this special day and she decided on making a second birthday visit to T-Bones in the last 5 years. We arrived hungry and were asked to sit in reception as dinner was not ready to be served. Happy Hour was in full swing at the bar which was 1/3 full which should have given us reason to be wary. But, being the troupers that we are, we followed the hostess to our regular birthday booth. As we were the first customers there, the server went on a 10 minute rant describing the specials of the day and we were loathe to interrupt her for fear that she might faint. She was obviously pushing several options and was noticeably disappointed when we didn't order anything from the bar. The bread service was excellent. I ordered the queen cut prime rib medium-well, a baked potato that was half the size it was previously, asparagus which was boiled and limp, and the California Salad which was the best thing on the menu. To our horror, the pair of crab cake orders that came out seemed to have been sitting around left over from Happy Hour. They were both cold and tasteless with not a hint of the savoriness that they used to have. As a recent transplant patient I am required to eat meat that is at its rarest is done medium-well but the cut I received was raw and ready to jump off the table. What used to be a stellar example of good taste has turned into a restaurant with very little in the positive going for it. We shall not make the same error again. read more

Went there last night (6-22-2012). As soon as I got in the place I did not like it. Steaks are between 50 and 60 dollars and everything is a la cart, and because of that, my wife and I were expecting an intimate atmosphere along the lines of the Golden Steer, Oscars, or Circus Circus Steakhouse which is fine dining. That was not the case here. This place was not intimate at all, it was very loud, and it was hard for my wife and I to carry on a normal conversation across the table. The Peppermill is more intimate than this place. My wife and I ordered our food, and her food came to the table just fine. My steak on the other hand was no where to be seen. After waiting 45 minutes I asked our waiter to check on my steak. He told me he was sorry, that he forgot to tell them to fire it, and it would be out shortly. My wife was done with her meal when I got my steak which took a total of 55 minutes from the time it was ordered. I had a Jack and Coke, and when it was empty, not once did our waiter or anyone else for that matter even ask if I wanted another one, or if I wanted a soda, tea, or other beverage. Being that they forgot my steak they cooked it as fast as they could and when it got to the table it was burnt . I ate the steak. The Aspen corn was very good. At this point we told our waiter and an assistant manager that we were displeased with our first experience at T Bones, and we would never be coming back. The Manager appeared and said he was very sorry we were unhappy, and he took the steak off our bill which I thought was very nice, but it doesn't make up for our bad time. While staying at the Red Rock over Christmas, I took my five family members out for a nice Christmas Day lunch and they made sure to put us right in front of the door to the kitchen! Guess they wanted to make sure we could see how hard they were working. The chestnut soup was divine. You could actually smell the truffles and they reminded me of my last vacation in Spoleto, but the steak when it FINALLY arrived... the $64 ribeye that was supposed to be medium RARE came out not only just medium, but very DRY and not even barely warm to the touch! After mentioning it to the waiter in hopes of getting some steak sauce, the manager came over and very nicely asked if they could make me another one. I told her, "No thanks. I had to wait so long for this one and I need to eat now because of my blood sugar." So the waiter suggested a red wine reduction sauce to try and it was delicious, but after working through the tenderest part of the ribeye, I was just too tired to chew any longer. Needless to say, my sister in law's dogs enjoyed what was one of the most disappointing steaks I've ever had. Word of advice, if you walk into a fancy restaurant and they seat you right in front of the kitchen door, TAKE THE HINT. I certainly "get it" now. Guess I should have ordered the Prime Rib. At least it wouldn't have been too dry. Disappointing to say the least. Won't bother going back. Maybe we'd be more welcome at the Sun Coast next time. read more

For the record, I've never left a review in my life. For anything. It's not my thing. BUT. I went to T-Bones tonight, for dinner, after getting a disappointing diagnosis from my doctor - a.k.a. - rough night. My server, Denise, was the most welcoming, caring, and attentive server I've ever had in my life - and I am an expert in the field of hospitality. Her recommendations - perfect, her attitude - perfect, her timing - perfect. It is a night I will never forget. It made my night so much easier to accept. Also - a big shout out to her server partner, food runner, and sommelier for which I didn't get their names, but they were wonderful too. And to boot, the food was off the charts - heirloom tomatoes, grass-fed steak, the best garlic mashed potatoes on the entire planet - and half bottles of wine. Might I add the expansive backlit stone, lengthy indoor fireplace (and even outdoor patio with fire pit and beautiful pool view for future visits) rounded out the perfect dining experience. Let me start by saying that the food is usually very good here. But boy oh boy, their customer service has seen better days. We ordered a steak along with some mashed Potatoes and a salad. Well, the steak arrived about 1 1/2 hour after we ordered it. We had to ask about our order 2 times. When our food finally came out, the steak and potatoes were cold, which mad me think that our steak was sitting in the kitchen for a while. We complained to the waitress about it. Well the manager came to us and apologized. We did not order another steak since we had not enough time waiting again. When we received the bill the manager took the steak off, but left the mashed potatoes on there. Now here is my question: why would we pay for mashed potatoes when we did not even touch the steak. Anyways we refused to pay for it and ended up just for the salad. It was just very odd to me that the manager takes off the steak, leaves the mashed potatoes on the bill and doesn't even offer any compensation at all. very disappointing. read more

Our experience at T-Bones was disappointing, and we won't be coming back. The service was slow--our server barely checked on us, and it took an hour for our food to arrive. We also had to ask multiple times for bread because they forgot to bring it. The food didn't justify the wait or the prices: * Hamburger - Ordered medium, but it came out well-done and dry. * Filet Mignon with Cider Green Beans - The steak was bland with no sauce, and the green beans had no flavor. * Steakhouse Salad - Asked for dressing on the side, but it was served fully dressed. The salmon was fine. * Lobster Mac & Cheese - Ordered this, but they brought out regular macaroni instead. * Tomato Caprese - The flavor was underwhelming, definitely not worth the price. Came in once again after a bad experience, my husband and I sat outside in the patio area. We were helped by Briana, which was extremely rude. I asked for a manhattan she didnt know how to make it, i asked for 3 other drinks she also didnt know how to make. We were ignored and noticed her just on her phone not busy just purposely ignoring us. She was flirty with the men guest sitting at the bar and kept the drinks coming for them but it took forever for us to get our drinks. she gave us no attention. We were told shes a prostitue and only fans girl that sells herself out of T bones. I guess that explians why we were ignored. She later sent over a guy co worker, didn't get his name but he was able to make my drink and made the patio experience a bit better for us. We are locals and love red rock so we will be back. I live right around the corner fromT-Bones and typically it's been great, but not so last night. We ordered appetizers and the waiter didn't come back for 25 minutes until I got his attention to finally order. The meal took forever to come out and when it did my steak was over cooked. Odd for a steak house, but it happens. The problem was that it didn't come back out until 20 minutes after my wife was done with her meal. Instead of automatically bringing me fresh sides as they have been sitting there for over 20 minutes, I had to ask him for a new side. Instead of removing the steak from the bill he said the manager gave me 20% off. At no point did anyone come to my table to apologize or anything. We had an incredible dining experience at T-Bones, made even better by our outstanding server, Rigo! He was incredibly pleasant, professional, and attentive! Truly on top of everything--never letting us run out of anything. As soon as we were halfway through a drink or side, he was already bringing more without us needing to ask. The food was just as impressive. The Prime Beef Tartare was absolutely delicious with a perfect little kick from the horseradish. The wet-aged Petite Filet was cooked to perfection with a beautiful crust, and the A5 Kobe Beef quite literally melted in your mouth. Everything from the service to the meal was flawless. Came in for a work dinner and the food was amazing and our server was so nice. Unfortunately after our dinner we stepped outside to the patio area for more cocktails and our server I believe her name was brianna was very rude and unprofessional. She was only nice to the men in our group, I walked away to use the restroom and when I came back she was passing around her phone with her instagram page on it showing all the men her half naked pictures and asking them to subscribe. She is soliciting herself in her work place and it made us all very uncomfortable. This is a typical casino restaurant with a pretty face. Boring menu , poor execution so so service. If you want to pay strip prices to Stations casinos food then by all means enjoy? Ordered a ribeye and wife order the fried chicken. Ribeye was over cooked as I order it medium and had no hint of pink what so ever. Wife had the chicken and one piece was still raw.
