I came here for a work event and we were in a private room near the back of the restaurant. The restaurant has a cozy old school feel but the main area definitely was crowded and loud. Service was wonderful. I ordered the filet mignon and it was great and full of flavor. The roast beef gravy was savory and not too overpowering. I enjoyed my dinner but I'm not sure if I would return on my own. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not really my style and it is a bit of a drive to enjoy a steak in a crowded and loud restaurant. read more

I had more than a few issues with this restaurant.... First, band will not start til 6:30 at earliest so any seatings prior are listening to background noise.... Second, the food wasn't good enough. The shrimp scampi was large and tough to eat. Finally. service was still learning - he presented check before asking us for dessert. Thank You Table 13 for hosting us an awesome and unique birthday dinner!! The atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable with a great live music. Table 13 has tasteful design with its own character. Every touches from the wall paintings are unique from decoration to the songs that were presented for the night. It provided a cozy, romantic and yet the right mood for us to celebrate a simple yet unique private dinner. Love the service of the restaurant crew. Team is very attentive, humorous and professional. Very disappointed in the waitstaff, poor time management. The waiter rarely came to our table to check up on us. We ordered the lunch menu that clearly stated a free dessert or champagne with our meal, the waiter never mentioned or offered it to us, we had to ask. I had to give this a few days of thought before I wrote this review so please read it thoroughly and just for reference I did try to talk with the manager about this prior to posting but he never returned my call. I booked a table for an early celebratory dinner for my birthday coming up. It was just a party of 4 and I read some good reviews about this given the live band performing on Friday and Saturday nights and also since they're under COVID restrictions I thought it would be safe. Well, the band was great, the service was great, the food was decent; but that's only the start. We walk in and there's a wait for tables and some people were sitting there waiting. I look into the main area and they are completely packed. They have almost all the booths full and the tables down the middle of the restaurant are completely packed. The table spacing was nowhere near 6 feet apart and given the crowd you could tell they were definitely above 50% capacity. They must have been going off of max capacity that the fire marshall gives and not max 50% capacity of seating. So if you're looking for something safe this is not a restaurant for you. So back to our checking in process. I'm told that there will be a slight wait while they disinfect their table; which is fine. So after about 10 minutes our table is ready and I notice that we start to walk towards the back of the restaurant to our table. The table is in their event room and what they did was just place a table in the middle of the room for us. Our table was placed beside a table of about 10, they had 2 people in a small table in the back corner, and lastly another large table behind us. So ours was just sitting in the middle. We had to rearrange the table because the seats were so close to the other tables that if we pushed the chair back we would hit the other chairs and each time a waiter came by people's chairs would be knocked. That's how close we are and that's not the worse of it. So I also noticed something else about where we were seating; there were mostly people of color. The prior two tables there were people of color and the table behind us that they sat later were people of color. I decided to check this out further and ran to the bathroom were I checked the main area again and there's wasn't one person of color sitting in the main area. And for clarity I checked one more time once the second group was sat at the larger table to see and they had open tables in the main area but yet still sat them back there with us. On top of that you would also see the hostess, the manager, and one another lady come by and continuously peep in on us like they were keeping an eye on things. The only saving grace that I can say is that by the time we left (about an hour before closing) they did have some people of color in the main area but that was of course after the main rush. The food was decent for what it was but nothing to write home about. Our waitress was excellent however so that's why this is getting 2 stars but honestly I never plan to go there again. read more

The expensive food was tasty, but the less expensive food (which I chose because I wasn't in a meat-eating mood and there were limited vegetarian options) was a bit lackluster. Pros: - Husbands lobster and steak were delicious. - Bread was fresh, butter was tasty with a unique lemon herb flavor. - Service was good. Cons: - Tomato soup was just okay. - Salad was not very fresh, there was brown wilted lettuce among the leaves. Yuck. Such a cute place. The cute little man at the piano got a tip from me! The drinks are fabulous and the bartender gets a five star rating. I ate here many years ago and it was good. Tonight my lobster soup was just lukewarm and really lacking in quality flavor with tough lobster. My salad was a grilled romaine. It was so tough. I couldn't cut it with a knife. The pork chop was so tough that I couldn't even chew a bite. It's just sad that people give you such a large portion of inferior product. Sometimes less is more especially if it's the best quality! FABULOUS! Five stars all the way! Came to Table 13 on a Saturday night (with reservations) for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful experience. Everything about it was great-the atmosphere, the service, the food, the live jazz. Hubby and I started out sharing a grilled romaine salad, and both enjoyed it, although Hubby wanted more bacon flavor in the vinaigrette. We then each ordered the filet mignon and it was SO good! Tender and flavorful....that was steak one will continue to dream about! The garlic mashed potatoes it came with were very good also. For his birthday, they brought us bread pudding-fantastic! My lemon drop cocktail was also wonderful. As an added touch, the manager came by to wish Hubby Happy Birthday with a card signed by the staff and a $25 gift certificate-NICE! While I have given 3 stars I really do like Table 13. I have been numerous times but tonight was disappointing. The food and drinks were good but the service was unfortunate. We had an older server named John. He repeatedly said he was 78 and had been serving for a long time. I honestly was offended by him and my two friends were as well by his repeated microagressions. I can only assume he thought we 3 black women didn't have money... I arrived first and he immediately said he would put our items on one check and split it 3 ways. Umm sir, no you will not make that determination for us. Secondly, we were ordering our food and wanted extra sides to share and he said we had ordered more than enough food Sir, just stop. He literally would not let me order Mac n cheese. My friend tried to order a side of spinach and he said her dish had spinach and that was more than enough food. Argh! He was fighting us on everything and waiting at the table until we finished bites of food so he could remove the plates. Lastly, he was a close talker with no mask. Sir back up! You and your mouth mist is spraying on us and it's COVID. Not to mention there was a hair in my friends Prosecco. There were a few other weird things but ugh! Table 13 is a fantastically swanky joint with great service and awesome food and drinks. I came here last night, expecting nothing but ended up having an amazing time. There was a live band that played during dinner at a volume that made the place lively but not so loud you couldn't talk. This place isn't the biggest but it has an ample number of tables. There's a large selection of nice wines which kept the evening flowing. We didn't have any mains, just a good selection of appetizers which were delicious. With a steady flow of shrimp cocktail, crabcakes and calamari, we kept the night moving along. Our service was friendly and attentive, I really enjoyed the evening and will be back again to try out the full dinner! read more

"Restaurant Week 2017" Gabe us a chance to try Table 13. One of us ordered the salmon, served with green beans. And the other one of us ordered the filet, served with mashed potatoes & 3 huge asparagus spears. We didn't say a word because we couldn't put our forks down!! Everything perfect: the salmon was moist and the filet was a beautiful red in the middle medium. Then there was the Banana Foster. If we had room we would have ordered another one, lol. All under $100.00 including tip. It was a busy noisey Saturday night. A very talented musician who sounded like Frank Sinatra was incredible! We loved the overall vibe & energy in Table 13. Unassuming exterior. Cool 50's era jazzy vibe place. We went for dinner and were seated nearest the band. The band there that night was great, didn't get their name though. Food and service were great. They consider themselves fine dining. I'd say fancy but not quite fine. That didn't bother me at all. Our server could definitely work at a higher end restaurant; he was that good! Very attentive. Food was great. We started with the dates. Moved to the grilled romaine salad & lobster bisque and then on to the steak Diane and the salmon meunière. Nothing disappointed, it was all great! We added the scalloped/au grautin potatoes...y'all's...GET THEM!!! Obviously we didn't have room for dessert & took part of our meal home. An unexpected find the first time I brought a friend here for her birthday. We sat right in front of the stage where live jazzy music filled the room and I knew it was gonna be a good night. Our server was phenomenal and we chatted for a while with him afterwards, wish I remembered his name! Our drinks were yummy and boozy and the stand out dishes for me were the calamari, lobster mac n cheese, and the mashed potatoes with my steak. Steak was ok, but not the best I've had. My friend loved the sea bass. I ordered it the next time I came for dinner and I highly recommend! My favorite time to dine at Table 13 is during lunch for their 13 entrees for $13, $3 martinis, and a complimentary dessert or glass of champagne (how do you beat that, please tell me how!). Fave martinis are the gimlet and lemon drop. My favorite entree used to be the open faced salmon but the last time I was there the cut of salmon is notably smaller now, doesn't even cover the whole half slice of bread. One of my friends got the lemon caper chicken after changing her order and it looked delicious. Think I'll give it a try next time. And in true Table 13 fashion the service is just as good at dinner time. This place is a true gem! read more

the food was honestly great. dined there with my husband for my birthday. the service was quick & had no issues with order being wrong. i will say that whoever put bacon wrapped dates on a menu need to be bonked on the head, haha. but we had the lemon chicken with potatoes & it was really good. i will say i wish the seating was more spaced out. it's a little weird being in the middle of the room surrounded by other people. the live music was definitely a wonderful touch, i honestly felt like i was in a movie. the singer wasn't overpowering & i did not feel like i had to yell over my husband either just to get him to hear me. i want to go back for sure. read more

A bit disappointed in the service, specifically an untrained waiter who should know better that if I do not drink wine, he should have removed the wine glass. And when we finished the appetizers, the plates should be removed. Almost the ABC of a waiter. Granted, the fellow was young, nevertheless he must acquire the right customer service skills to be successful. To tap it off, at around 930 pm they started to put chairs in the tables up side down, a clear signal to us as customers that we should hurry up. Terrible! Love the live music playing; however, it makes having conversations at the tables hard. The food was pretty delicious! For an appetizer, we had the mussels with crostinis. They were wonderful! The bar seating area was lively and the place was very intimate. The lighting in there is great also There was a piano player and the ambiance was perfect. We came here for lunch. We got crab cake, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs and the meatloaf. The meatloaf was on the $13 menu and one my favorite meatloafs I've ever had. The deviled eggs were pretty good and I loved the crab cakes. I don't really like cold shrimp but it was quality shrimp. We got 2 drinks they were just okay. We have been to table 12 multiple times and have always enjoyed eating there but tonight they fell below our expectation. 1) The calamari was salty and oily and had more tomatoes than squid 2) The initial risotto served with the Seabass was undercooked. They sent a replacement that was salty and did not have the same flavor as the original risotto 3) although the ahi tuna had the usual flavor it was acidic and made me question the freshness of the tuna The only positive experience tonight was the bartender Justin who was very pleasant and attentive and sincerely apologize for the meal sent out by the kitchen Since this was our only not so positive experience we will most likely give them one more try but if we have a similar experience we will not be back read more
