Tachi Ramen was an experience, not just a meal. The service was excellent, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and there's a great energy in the space--plus a bar area if you want drinks with dinner. I also loved the drink options beyond the usual, with tea, boba, lemonades, and more. The menu has a fantastic range of appetizers, which made it hard to choose. We ordered the Japanese sausage, spicy chicken wings, chashu bowl, and wagyu ramen--and every dish delivered. The wagyu ramen was the star. It's torched tableside, which adds a fun touch, and the beef broth was rich and deeply flavorful--almost reminiscent of a great pho broth, which I absolutely loved. It came loaded with bok choy, a full egg, and generous portions of meat. The chashu bowl was incredible. The pork was so tender we could cut through it with a spoon. Melt-in-your-mouth good. The spicy wings were crispy, flavorful, and brought real habanero heat--not just "spicy" in name only. Tachi balances quality, creativity, and comfort so well. Between the thoughtful menu, standout ramen, amazing appetizers, and great atmosphere, this is a spot I'd happily return to again and again. So confused about their rating Went in because I saw the high marks Ordered the pork buns...let's just say a HUGE disappointment. Word of advice...people want to taste the meat! Not the gelatinous glob you put on there. And one of the buns was so hard. Turned me off. The ramen bowls were at best ok. Very skimpy on noodles. The waitress was very nice but service was slow. Was waiting on buns to come out first. Nope. Everything came out at once. There were two other tables, one of them eating already, and it took almost twenty minutes for our food to come out. The hiyayakko (chilled tofu) was pretty good. Chicken karaage (3/5): Batter was too thin to be authentic. Tonkotsu ramen (3/5): Lacked richness and felt diluted compared to other tonkotsu broths. My partner got the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen and that had a lot of umami that I was looking for. Overall, Tachi's was okay. This place looked very promising at first. Besides ramen, they also have rice bowls, Yakitori, Izakaya, various Chef Special dishes and boba drinks. I ordered the Miso Ramen, but had to request about half of the toppings to be removed. No onions, bamboo, bean sprouts or mushrooms for me! Besides, who puts mushrooms in their ramen?? I will say the broth was pretty good, but they were reaaal stingy with the noodles! This definitely did not make me full. If you prefer less noodles with a ton of toppings, this is the ramen for you. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage, which was a little bland and difficult to bite into. The spicy mayo sauce was more like a Buffalo sauce. Lastly, we couldn't leave without trying their drinks, so I ordered the Strawberry Milk Matcha and my husband ordered the Oreo Matcha Milk. The Oreo Matcha was the better tasting one. Been here several times, hoping our next experience would be better. The rice was old and hard, and the chicken wings were inedible because it had way too much chili powder coated on it. We let their staff know, and they gladly did not charge. My son enjoys spicy food, however the Spicy Ramen took it to another level; he also did not enjoy it. Our friend and host, Harvey, is a colossal ramen fan and swears this is the best in sin town. The place is clean and the atmosphere was filled with some cool decorations. I do like their logo. We got seated in a booth, looked over the menu and ordered. A small, but fairly upscale restaurant (especially for a ramen shop!) Perfect for a cute date night! The prices do reflect the upscale-ness, but this location is still not TOO overpriced. Although it's still affordable, I'd honestly say it's a little lacking in taste/quality for the price compared to the more casual places in Vegas. I ordered the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen ($18). It looks Instagram perfect, with fair portions that'll satisfy most people. The broth is a thinner broth because it's a *shoyu* tonkotsu (which means, a mix of soy sauce-based broth and pork broth, instead of straight pork tonkotsu broth). However, the broth was still plenty flavorful. The aroma of the ramen itself is amazing because of the garlic oil and the roasted garlic toppings. Both elements really boosts the complexity in flavor and adds a lot to the bowl. Now onto the "room-for-improvements". The noodles are thin here, so it's easy to overcook, which I experienced when I visited. The chashu could be cooked longer; the fat was still chewy even though the slices are thin. That means the fat is not rendered properly and needs more cooking time at low heat. The meat itself could also be more tender and softer, especially since it's so thin. The ramen here was not bad at all, but I expected more for an $18 bowl of ramen especially since there are so many fantastic competitors in the area! I have found my new favorite ramen place! This is located where the Nima institute is (Buffalo/Patrick). There's plenty of parking with a few other restaurants in the same lot. The restaurant has a nice vibe and decorated sleek and simple. There's a big screen tv behind the bar area and I was able to catch a game while enjoying my lunch. The waitress had to confirm that they could make the chicken karaage bc the chef was supposed to clean out the fryer. She came back and confirmed that it could be made. The chicken karaage came out first. Dark, dry and hard. Very disappointing. The fried rice was greasy. I never got the DIET COKE that I ordered and confirmed. The food was amazing, but I have to say they should definitely know the differences between the ramen and not just the names. The front female worker couldn't even pronounce or explain differences. This place is such a gem. When arriving in the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the staff and picked a booth seat. There's a bunch of tv screens inside too. Since it was hot out, we didn't have the ramen but instead had their rice dishes. We tried the Japanese tonkatsu and the chicken karage rice. I was craving ramen soup. We went on a week night which was not too busy and seated right away. Our server brought us a decanter of water and I asked what the differences were with their variety of ramen soup and he answered my question patiently. I chose the Tonkotsu ramen and the hubby chose garlic miso ramen. Both were delicious! There's no need to add any sides of seaweed or eggs as our soup already came with them but you have the option of adding extra if you wish. My mom wanted ramen for Mother's Day so I looked at Yelp and it brought us here. They had a very great menu one for food and for tea and boba. One stop shop. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen which was the most popular, we also tried the miso ramen. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, chicken katsu, Japanese mini sausage, shrimp tempura and pork belly with asparagus for appetizers. For drinks we ordered the brown sugar boba and the mango rainbow. Let me tell you both ramen was delicious!!! Full of flavor... it was so good I can see myself coming here when I'm craving for ramen. Our favorite appetizers were the mini sausage and the fried rice. The chicken katsu was also good. They had a carpet of different sauces. What was cool on the table was that they had a toothpick container on each table. You push the button down and a toothpick appears. The restrooms were really clean. They did have a baby changing station. Good lighting granite counter tops which matched their tables. While we were almost done with eating we asked Nikki how many more minutes for the pork belly and somehow some reason the young lady that took our orders forgot to put these in. 11/02/24 Saturday. During lunch we opt to check this new Ramen place. Upon entrance, we were greeted and got a table right away. We ordered Garlic Tonkatsu ramen, spicy fried chicken, fried rice with choice of chicken, shrimp, or Kim chee. I got the Kim chee. Towards the end we ordered mango pomelo drink to go. Garlic Tonkatsu was really good. My husband says it might be better than JINYA. The spicy chicken wings was nice and crispy. Unfortunately, the service here has gone way downhill. We arrived at 2:45, and it appeared there was only one person working. By the time we were seated and our server returned after helping other tables and making drinks, I attempted to order the lunch special but was told I couldn't because it was two minutes past the cutoff. To make matters worse, our server removed a half-full water from the table while another member of our party was still eating and never brought a replacement so we had nothing to drink while we waited for them to finish. The food here was absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I have never been out for Ramen although we have heard about it and seen it many times. I must say that I wasn't very sure how things would go but I am not a very adventurous eater. I got the spicy chicken wings and gyoza. I am not very big on vegetables but did try the ramen from my fiancé and I was thoroughly impressed. The spices weren't too overpowering that you are unable to continue - but the portion size might be! Large enough for 2 people realistically so we shared one. juicy pieces of pork, whole boiled eggs, tasty noodles all in a spicy soup. Excellent taste. Made to order flavorful food. We got the pork gyozas, and the octopus dumplings simply amazing. The miso ramen and the tonkotsu garlic ramen very flavorful and filling 10 out of 10. The chicken ramen is good. The mix fruit tea is really good and the oreo smoothie with boba my daughter loved it. We were not able to finish all the ramen and the packed it for us including utensils for later use. Tachi is a new and incredible ramen and tea spot that opened in the Southwest. It's located in the corner of the Evora plaza with plenty of parking. Peter was a friendly and attentive staff that provided fantastic service! I loved the interior layout of this place with lots of tables and open space. There's even two giant TV screens to watch sports. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the ramen. The broth was flavorful and rich which is exactly how I'd want my bowl of ramen. Portions were generous and had me completely satisfied. I got their taro smoothie at 75% sweet and it was just the right sweetness. I loved the creamy texture. Steve helped us out and was absolutely great. We got the mango and the strawberry tea. My only critique and room for improvement that I have is I really do wish the food was much hotter and I think that is because they put cold bean sprouts etc into the soup cooling down the broth, but that doesn't take away from how good it tasted. read more

Thanks to Yelp we found this hidden gem of a place for dinner tonight! A place that serves ramen and boba?! My hubby was a happy camper! He got the tonkotsu ramen and I got the garlic tonkotsu ramen.
