Came to Taco Bell to try the $1 Nacho Fries, walked out two other burritos and frozen beverage. Closest Taco Bell from Huntington Metro Station. Drive thru was closed due to complications with their computer, but they were quick to make my order inside. Nacho Fries were delicious highly reccommend.

Had the occasion to eat here just before they obsoleted my favorite menu item, the Mexican Pizza! Paired with a couple of hard taco supremes topped off with some fire sauce and it is a damn good fast food lunch for cheap. I was going to get one taco and the pizza but it was like $.50 more for the second taco and drink lol. Taco Nell always sounds good and tasted good , but let's be honest there's always a tinge of regret later lmao

The drinks are good but the quantity of food is getting ridiculous. It seems as if the meat being placed in the taco is getting less and less.

SANDRA Manager that said F you to me! She cursed at me!
    Kaitlin R.

Been to this Taco Bell a couple of times during lunch time and always a long and slow line. Last time I went will definately be my last. They rang me up for the wrong order at the first window. Then gave me the wrong food and as I pulled out they said I didnt oay? So I backed up and the African America manager (i am not racist I am merely describing the manager) rang me up for the correct order. As she tried to refund the first incorrect order I paid for she rang it up for the 2nd time then tried to tell me she refunded. On the receipt it did not show refund only charged again. After being frustrated (I was) she finally listened and did it again and refunded me twice for the two times she charged me incorrectly. Leaving only the food I ordered being paid for. She was upset with me. Why I dont know? Not my fault? I said politely they should do a better and organized job on handling the drive thru. She got more upset and actually said F you to me. She cursed me out. The managers name is SANDRA. And there were two witness employees who also heard. I have called corporate to file the complaint. Imagine if there were little kids in the car? There is absolutely no reason for anyone to curse using the F WORD. F ..... u..... c..... and the last letter K. YOU . To me. Attached is a photo of the employee.

Pretty bad service as usual after 1am. I guess we can't expect much more from this company, which is sad.

If you go, go before 11pm. Service is EXTREMELY slow after that time. Otherwise, it's pretty good

My friend chose Don Taco because it's one of his favorite spots, and he kept raving about how great the tacos were. And because really, you can't go wrong with chips, salsa, and drinks for a quick happy hour. The salsa which is not pictured had a great smoky kick, the tacos were very flavorful, fresh and hot. The host and waitress were very sweet, kind and attentive. The atmosphere was pretty cool, nothing to complain about. A lot of space, we sat upstairs which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, this place isn't handicap accessible so if you're unable to walk 2 flights of stairs this wouldn't be the a great option. Thank you Don Taco Staff

We had the entire upstairs area to ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, and I loved the mini fans placed throughout the space--perfect if you're feeling a little too warm or have enjoyed a few drinks! As for the service, it was a bit hit-or-miss. The young lady who took our orders was pleasant, but it took quite a while for drinks to come out. There were also several missing items from people's orders, which caused some frustration since those items had been ordered well in advance. Now, onto the food--the real star of the experience! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and had great things to say. I ordered a salmon taco, which I actually saved and ate the next day for lunch, and it was still delicious. The queso, however, wasn't a favorite among our group. On the other hand, the chips and salsa were a hit. The mocktails were excellent, and everyone seemed to enjoy their cocktails as well. Despite a few service hiccups, the food, drinks, and atmosphere made for a great experience. I would definitely visit again.

The protein in the taco is well made and tender and comes on a single flour tortilla and a sauce and some veggies. It is missing the double corn tortilla, Cilantro and and sautéed onions I associate with a authentic Mexican street taco but still is very tasty just the same and definately not one of the Americanized abominations you see at so many restaurants (: . Chips and Salsa were quite good as well and they make a nice house Margarita that was reasonably priced (Thank you Happy Hour!) that is well made with a good 100% Blue Agave tequila. To be honest with you the Margarita's and Happy hour pricing is what brought us to this restaurant and we were definately not disappointed. the restaurant itself has a nice industrial vibe to it and does not have the colorful Mexican decor many of the restaurants do that I am used to in Michigan. Having said that it is still a very casual and comfortable environment that definately adds to the overall dining experience. Staff was quite friendly with good follow up and definately a strength of the business. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience with their own unique spin on what they call a street taco. Good food, Reasonable prices and good margaritas are hard to beat making this an excellent dining spot if Mexican food is your thing.

Our Server was Javier, friendly and on it. The Chips & Salsa was the starter, chips were light, tasty and served with two types of salsa. Mild & one more for the heat seekers. The salsas that come with the chips are good. It's downhill from there. The chips were oily and/or stale. The shredded beef taquitos tasted like beef hotdogs? The queso blanco was passable. The crispy garlic chipotle shrimp tasted like they were out of a bag and simply fried in the kitchen. To be honest all of the food tasted as if it was Sysco foods. The frozen margaritas were beyond sugary (I couldn't even finish it). Sadly, I wouldn't go back unless I was just grabbing a beer at the bar.

The accompanying salsa was tasty. We also liked the queso dip that we ordered as a side. JP ordered the attractively presented breakfast burrito and found it to be very good. The rest of us ordered the ground beef enchiladas. They come with Mexican rice and refried black beans. I thought the enchiladas were good but really needed substantially more cheese and red sauce because they were kinda dry. But there was a question about the preparation of the margaritas. JP requested his first margarita be agave free (i.e. not sweet). It turned out great. But when JP and our friend ordered another round, the second round was yellowish orange instead of green, and they were sweet. Our server insisted the margaritas were made the same way the second time. She did agree to have them re-made, but the remade ones were identical to the ones that we sent back. Since I don't drink margaritas and don't have a vested interest in that aspect of Tacos and Tequila, I'd like to come back to further explore their menu.

We arrived at 4:03 p.m. and left by 4:46 p.m. Our plan was to relax at the bar, enjoy happy hour margaritas, have appetizers, then dinner while watching the soccer match--a leisurely vacation evening. The hospitality, unfortunately, was lacking. Although our bartender wasn't rude, she seemed to be in a constant rush to get us to order, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet with only a few tables occupied. We even mentioned that we were hoping to enjoy a slow, relaxing evening, but we still felt hurried throughout our visit. The happy hour margaritas were very lime-forward with very little tequila. We switched to a regular menu margarita ("The Perfect"), but even that tasted weaker than expected. As tequila fans, we were disappointed. We also found the food to be far from authentic Tex-Mex. Having lived in San Antonio, I realize that's a high standard, but this didn't come close to what we expected. In the end, we asked for our food to go and left. We found another restaurant where we could relax and enjoy the kind of hospitality we had been looking for. I don't enjoy leaving critical reviews, but this was a disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it.
