Been multiple times. Great service. Great food. The meat is well seasoned. Portions are more than generous. I've had about 5 or 6 thing on the menu and they are all fantastic. Pricing is fair, and i feel like I get the value for what i pay at Taco del Sol. Breakfast burritos are great and priced to be competitive with the fast food giants, but tasting far better. There are 2 similar style restaurants in the area, and i wish i wouldn't have gone here first, because after eating here, the other 2 didn't come close, and were both more expensive. Have eaten here many times as I thought they were vegetarian friendly. I would always get the veggie burrito and have asked multiple times in the past to clarify that there is no lard in their beans. Visited today and noticed the veggie burrito was no longer on the menu. I asked if I could still order that and double checked the beans were vegetarian. I was told that they have nothing vegetarian on there menu. Lard in the refried beans. No whole beans. No black beans. The employees were very rude. I have been coming here the last few years. Food is always delicious, fresh, and sercvice is great. I always get to practice my spanish despite being embarrassed (puedo practicar español contigo?). I LOVE this place, it is so much more than it looks like from the outside. Their prices are great and the food is better than most mexican restaurants. I love the tacos al pastor, tortas are also great, they bring you three different kinds of sauce that are all good to put on your food. They have a serve your own bar in the middle with pico de gallo, radishes and pickled carrots onions and peppers. The horchata is also good. Every time I have been to Taco Del Sol all the employees have been very nice. Also have spanish tv in the background, adds to the atmosphere. This place used to have food good enough to overlook the horrible staff and ungodly wait times. Over 12 years we had 2, yes 2, correct orders. The staff is BEYOND rude. They talk about white people in Spanish (saying nasty things such as how white people are stupid) as if no white person can understand them. The food is gradually going downhill with meat becoming fattier. I believe they are adding hashbrowns to the shredded beef in taquitos. We ordered pazole and were given menudo with the tripe removed and homily added as if we wouldn't know what they had done. We will never return. Such a shame. Diner beware. Eat there if you don't mind being treated badly, waiting forever, and don't understand Spanish. read more

They gave me the wrong tacos. I have a sinus infection and I told them that they took the tacos back which is unsanitary. And they gave me new ones but it's still very unsanitary if them to take something back when someone who is sick can contaminate them... I am never going back here again they don't know anything about running a restaurant or any of the sanitary polices... or how to make a customer happy after making them wait for 40 plus min to get their food and another 40 plus min to fix the mistake they made which was put sauce on my tacos when I told them no sauce and then proceeded to give me tacos with sauce. They recovered pretty quickly for having the EAT/take out option with Yelp not conforming my order with the restaurant but still charging my credit card. I know now just to call the order into the restaurant. Despite complications they were quick and friendly. Cannot substitute black beans with refried beans. It's a really great place to eat. It has a drive through for relatively quick orders, just remember quality foods cannot be made at microwave speeds. The inside has tables and booths, it's really busy around dusk and lunch hour. Their menu has mainly Mexican cuisine, but does offer some American food. My favorite item from their menu, would have to be the carne asada street tacos. Although the tacos do differ from time to time. I was hungry one night, not sure what I wanted and I looked for street tacos and found great reviews. Then I saw that Taco Del Sol had breakfast, so I ordered the pancake special and went for it. The food was great good scramlbled eggs, yummy bacon and fantastic pancakes. I was suprised that a mexican restaurant had french toast and pancakes but I just knew it would be good.... and it was. It was delivered so I had to put the pancakes in the toaster oven to get the moisture off , but then it was awesome. Who knew a Mexican restaurant could make american breakfast so well! Best deal going is Taco Del Sol's Taco Tuesday deal. Just 99 cents for an amazing street style taco, with four different choices to choose from. We opt for the carnitas. Vey flavorful, they do not skimp on filling and they have a salsa bar for extra toppings. We have ordered the chili relleno plate here before, too and it is also very good. But Taco Tuesday price-wise cannot be beat. Two of us can eat for what only one can at other Mexican restaurants. It is an old drive-through and they still have take-out orders at the window, but everything is made when you order so don't expect it to be fast going that route.
