I love Taco Sin! I don't think I would've ever known about this place if it weren't for people I know who live in the area that rave about it. Been here many times, usually during the odd hours of the night since it's open 24/7. It's a great place for drunchies. But the star of Taco Sin is that red sauce. It's the best companion to Mexican food I've ever had. It's super spicy and has a really robust, rich flavor. It's pretty much otherworldly. You're limited to a few sauce cups, but you can buy more. People legit try to steal the sauce. The carne asada fries are the best I've ever had and the al pastor tacos are also really good. Cash only or debit over $10, which can be inconvenient. It also isn't the cleanest inside--you might have to throw away some leftover trash/wipe spills left on the table before you sit down. Normally I'm too drunk to care about the dirtiness when I eat in or I just take the food to-go anyways, so it isn't a huge deal considering how great the food is. read more

Came here new year's day looking for a restaurant that would be open. Considering the holiday, not many options would be available. At first glance my mind went "meh" but it wouldn't hurt to try. I ordered carne asada fries. They use crinkle fries that are probably bought in a frozen food aisle. There is not enough carne asada on them. I would not repurchase this food. For the price, it is not worth it. Also ordered all carne burrito. The size was a bit small compared to other burritos I've had else where. I feel like this place is the best kept secret when it comes to a drunk night. They use to be open 24/7 but COVID happen so they close at 10pm now. I get two pozoles and share with my boyfriend. I get one with meat and the other without meat. I always felt that the pozole as is, is a 2:1 ratio of meat to broth. Splitting the meat soup in two makes it easier to get enough for both people and the one with no meat is enough broth for both people. The pozole is always flavorful. I enjoy getting the togo orders from here because they do not skimp on the portions. In retrospect the togo cups for the soup gives about 2-3 serving per container depending on how much you eat in a sitting. The tacos are great as well. I can see why the lines get long at this place. They have relatively fast service, but it also depends on the time of day because it can be slower just because they may be swamped. read more

I go to taco Sinaloa at least once a week and order food for the whole family. I love their food and once a month or so I order the camarones al mojo de ajo and they are delicious. I hadn't order them in about 4 months. Yesterday got two orders and I got more garlic than shrimp. I called the store and the lady on the phone was very polite, she told the cook what I said and the cook responded, "next time don't order camarones al mojo de ajo. It's pretty much a hit or miss type of place but that's a given when the place is opened 24/7! Located on western in Torrance, across the street from Zabon ramen and next to a pho restaurant lies taco sinoloa. Tacos are 1.69$/ea which isn't bad at all. Some days your tacos are packed to the rim and some days you get half assed tacos so that's why I said it was a hit or miss. I haven't tried anything but their tacos but my favorites have been the pastor and the carnitas. They have the condiments table on the side where there are salsa's, radishes, limes and containers for you to take em Togo! They also have gender neutral restrooms so that's always great cuhs tacos are not the cleanest to eat. They do sell beers, but offer free water when asked. They do have a 10$ minimum credit/debit card charge. Overall, I wouldn't say it's like the best taco place or a must visit but definitely will keep coming back. Carne asada fries! I've passed by Taco Sinaloa many, many times but never thought of stopping by here until recently. I heard about their carne asada fries and it peaked my curiosity. I decided that the next time I was in this area, I would try and stop by and check it out. I came at a time when it wasn't too busy. When I ordered the carne asada fries, the guy at the counter asked me in Spanish if that was all that I wanted. I had heard it wasn't on the menu but ordering it was no problem though I wondered why the guy was speaking to me in Spanish. The dish is $6.99 pre-tax. I got my order to go and was pleasantly surprised at how packed the Styrofoam container was. It was filled with piping hot fries, carne asada, beans, melted cheese, onions and cilantro. The carne asada fries is definitely a dish you want to try and eat right away when hot. The fries are nice and crispy. I recommend dipping in tapatio. There already is some spice in the carne asada fries but the tapatio gives a nice, extra spicy kick. I expected bigger chunks of carne asada but the carne asada in this dish was more strips than chunks. I was happy that the meat was not hard and that it was tender. I don't really like beans and there is a fair share of beans in here and so I may need to ask them to leave out the beans next time if possible. There was also plenty of cheese, onions and cilantro on top which made this dish very flavorful. This dish is super big and cannot be eaten in one sitting. It's plentiful and can be shared with friends. It is so much food and will definitely leave you and your friends full. It's a lot of potatoes - so much carbs so definitely made for sharing or eat in mulitple settings. Who knew all the times, I passed by this place that I was missing out on these carne asada fries. The food usually only takes a few minutes to make so the wait is never too long. They also have a stand next to the counter where you can get all of your pickled vegetables, different salsa, limes and all that good stuff to put on your food. Food: Asada- The asada here is good for the most part. It's very flavorful, but at times you can get a bite of fat that's really hard to chew. Al pastor- Marinated pork that is so tasty and goes well in their tacos or quesadilla. Pollo- Charbroiled chicken that has great seasoning on it and I personally just like getting it in the quesadilla. The tacos here are pretty basic with cilantro and onions on top. It's up to you what else you want to put on it. I also like getting a combo if I'm pretty hungry. The combos come with beans, rice and a little lettuce/salsa salad. They have different combos, but I usually just get the 2 taco combo or the combo and quesadilla combo. A little salsa bar on the side with 2 different salsas, pickled veggies, radish, and lime. We had the carne asada taco combo and a carne asada wet burrito. The tacos were delicious with a good amount of meat. Their refried beans were good too. Wet burrito came with spicy sauce on top, and it was super hot (temperature-wise). The good: Restaurant has clear street visibility and parking is abundant. The restaurant is open 24/7. The tacos have a fair amount of meat in them and the salsa is tasty. There's a claw machine. The bad: The neighborhood feels sketchy. There's no shortage of transient folk asking for money or if you can "spare some change". The restaurant could use better air circulation since much of the food smells get trapped within and the only source of "fresh" air is the single ceiling fan. Restaurant is dimly-lit and doesn't feel clean. The tacos aren't exactly delicious but they are well-priced. The ugly: It amazes me when restaurant staff does not greet or otherwise provide a pleasant experience for its paying patrons. As I entered the restaurant, an intoxicated gentleman approached the cash register and demanded the food he had ordered 9 hours ago (none was ordered). This person began rambling on and then proceeded to drop to the floor near the start of the line, making dry-heaving noises, and simply making everyone uncomfortable. The staff asked the man to leave but he refused and he suggested that they call the police because he wasn't going to leave. Customers asked the staff to call the police on the man who at that moment coughed something up from his throat (the man was still on the floor). Overall, tacos are cheap and you get what you pay for in that regard. Staff is a mess as they are clearly not equipped with the necessary wherewithal to handle stressful situations or even basic greetings/customer service. I don't get it." Well, few years later, here I am giving Taco Sinaloa one more try. And guess what? Their tacos are the best I've ever had! Yesterday, I ordered their carne asada fries, one lengua taco, one carne asada taco, and one carne asada quesadilla to go. Their lengua taco was SO GOOD. The lengua meat had nice consistency with some moisture. I honestly liked my lengua taco better than the carne asada taco. Don't take me wrong, the carne asada taco was also good but lengua taco is better, hands down. I regretted not ordering some more tacos as soon as I ate my two tacos. I also liked their quesadilla! Their quesadilla was the fattest, most meatiest quesadilla I've ever seen. It was loaded with cheese and carne asada. Even my mom said it was the best quesadilla she's ever eaten! On the downside, their carne asada fries was just okay. I don't think the crinkle cut fries goes well as carne asada fries. It's too mushy for my taste. The carne asada fries also didn't have enough cheese for my liking and I can vouch that I've had better carne asada fries from Santana's in Riverside. If anyone has been to the $1 taco truck at El Antojito, then you know this place charges slightly more for their tacos. I still prefer the $1 taco truck .............. taste and price. Carne Asada Fries - OK. It's like a heart attack on a plate. Literally. I ate about half of it before I couldn't eat it anymore. I then took the rest to go and my fridge smelled like carne asada fries ....... and then microwaved it the next day, which was not good at all... so I threw them away. Definitely one of my favorite go to taco places in and around the Torrance area. I usually get the al pastor tacos or enchiladas as well as the beef soup whenever my wife and I feel under the weather. The food quality is usually pretty consistent but the only issue I have is late at night from 10-12pm at night, the line is usually to the door which can definitely be a pain when I am starving after a movie or late night concert. Other than that Taco Sinaloa tacos are damn good for a late night snack. I always get the food to go because the dining area looks a little ran down and does not look like its in the most sanitary of conditions. read more
