This has been to my GO TO Mexican food place since back in the early 2000's. It's nostalgic to come here and honestly their food is still good. But I do feel like a lot of things changed. - Service is a lot slower - less staff - salsa and sides need to be requested and no longer available to self serve - it's becoming a more to go / pick up spot rather than dining in Ordered - combination burrito taco - combination quesadilla taco - carne asada fries There food is good. Just sad how much has changed from the old days and how long it takes to order and receive the food. But most likely I'll still return as long as they stay in business

Back for soup on a Sunday! Got the Caldo 7 Mares this time. Great broth! Lots of different seafood (octopus, crab, fish, shrimp, mussel, clam) plus veggies galore. Delish and would get it again!

It had been ages since my last visit to this spot. Passing by, I couldn't resist stopping for the carne asada dorado tacos and some extra crispy tripas tacos. Not the best quality but paired with their spicy red salsa, they were quite enjoyable!

Been coming here for YEARS, and order the same thing. Literally the best "Camarones a la Diabla". You order your food and leave, or eat there lol This is not a fancy smancy restaurant, so don't be judgmental, it's literally that "hole in the wall" spot that's delicious. Employees just trying to keep the line moving, they're not being rude lol and not trying to be your friend either haha :D

Taco Sinaloa (aka Taco Sinaloa #3, or Sinaloa Mexican Food) has the typical Mexican fare. Tacos are the main calling here, which are pretty good. Good quality, meats, onions, cilantro, hot sauce, and double corn tortillas. If you want more hot sauce, you can ask for some at the counter. The burritos are filling and another good choice, both the dry and wet choices. Be sure to request some extra hot sauce. Other items I've had, were more on the average side. Specifically, the Camarones a la Diabla which could have done with a lot more heat, and the Caldo de Res which was a chunky beef and vegetable soup but simplistic in taste. The restaurant is a getting on the old side. At most of my recent trips there was a homeless man who would open the door when you enter or exit, but he never asked for any money and didn't cause any problems. The sign out front says they're open 24 hours a day, but it's my understanding that is not case, with them closing at 9:00 or 10:00pm. NOTE: This restaurant is not physically in the City of Torrance. It is in an area of Los Angeles that has it's mail delivered by the Torrance post office, hence the Torrance mailing address.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat and missing sour cream. No one else in line but took 12 mins. Meat was good though. Fries were fresh, though the skinny fries are better for carne asada super fries.

The restaurant is very clean and organized. Our server was so sweet and welcoming. She walked us through the options and made recommendations based on our party. For a party of 3, we ordered one pound of shrimp, one pound of snow crab, and half pound of clams. The staff recommended mixing their sauces and it definitely hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and meaty and the garlicky, spicy sauce kicked the flavor up a notch. We also ordered a side of fries to share and the dip it came with was amazing as well. The price is very reasonable! It was definitely bang for your buck. They have happy hours that span a good chunk of the day so definitely take advantage of that. Will definitely be back to support a local small business.

The music was good and sports were available if that's your thing Cons: It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and at that time I was told they could not fulfill a portion of my order, I withdrew my order of rice and bang bang sauce. After 30 more minutes most of our order came out with the exception of the garlic bread. I was told that it takes a significant amount of time to make and asked if i wanted something else instead. I felt an hour for two burritos was excessive so declined adding anything else. Moments later my bread appeared. It took a full hour and some change to receive our order which I thought was unreasonable, especially since at this point we were the only patrons. Overall: Food was alright, reasonably priced, and portions were aligned with the price. However, I would recommend ordering ahead or anticipate a long wait time. When we went we were one of two patrons but it seemed they had a fair stream of take out orders. I frequent the area but do not live nearby and nothing caught my attention enough to return.

I just love that there's endless options for what to eat here just based on the amount of different ways to season your fish, the amount of fish to choose from, and the many choices of sides. To be honest, I don't even remember which seasoning I got on my fish this time because they're all good. I was just excited to have salmon that I didn't have to cook at home. I went with the peppered corn and crispy brussels sprouts as the sides. I like the way they fish is in thin slices so it is super easy to take a mouthful of the fish with the sides. Everything was prepared, exactly as I would hope, the brussels sprouts or crispy, the corn was delicious and fresh, and the fish was delicious ! I will definitely be back to this location!

Positives: - calamari was fried perfectly, batter was light and crunchy and seasoned nicely. - Fish and Chips: portion was HUGE could not finish it. Fish was fresh and flaky, batter was light, crispy and not oily. - Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned and not overly salted. - Coleslaw was tasty, crunchy, and not too creamy or soggy. I don't like it when coleslaw is a soupy mess. - Price was very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food we got. - Us "old folks" enjoyed the background music from the 80s. Good ambiance. Cons: - Default tip option on card scanner started at 20% for a place where you seat yourself, order at the counter, and pick up your own food when called. I manually entered 10%. - Clam chowder was good but seemed to lack something (Spice, pepper, acid?) and flavor was more creamy than I like. My wife really enjoyed it in the bread bowl and thought it was good... I barely got a taste because she went through it quickly.

My go-to order is the salmon with garlic butter, always delicious. Somewhat recently (past year or two) they changed their rice and I'm not a huge fan of the new noodley rice. I've since swapped to roasted corn.... but I miss the original rice, especially when the garlic butter would go onto it! Look I would've given this place 3 stars, but the customer service and wait time was ridiculous. Hear me out, this is my experience from last Saturday. So first it can be challenging to find this place, since the pier has so many level to it. Look for the elevators. When you get there, for the first time, you see a main line, well for what? Then you see other lines, well for what? Then you see an oyster line, oh. In order to determine what each line is for, you have to do independent research. From whom? Well the employee, who do not show case any form of customer service. There were so many people lost and confused. To break it down, each "Order Here" has their own area of what can be ordered by the pound and/or cooked. So not all lines are equal. There is a crab line, seafood boil/pre-seasoned seafood, oyster, clams, I think I saw fish and fried platters, which was the longest. So after much deliberation, an employee managed to wrangle the customers to form a line. Although his mannerism seems like I'm just done with this place. One might consider ropes to further avoid these mundane confusions... I got Ana's seafood boil mix, $99. It came with a lobster, dungeoness crab, peeled shrimp, clams, sausage and potatoes. The employee told me about 10 mins. I'm like okaaaay, only 10? I walked to their souvenir shop, nothing crazy or must haves. Just cheap Chinese things with their name printed on. I return in 10 minutes. The guy doing prepping/expediting the pick order was in a frantic state. Older white male, white mustache. He was running around, mixing orders up, couldn't even tell what customers had what. The employee that wrangling folks came to help him collect himself. So 10 minutes wait turns to 15, 20, then 30 minutes. I had 2 other employees check up on my order, they said it's not ready. Okay. Finally about 35 minutes it's ready. He didn't even call out my order, I had to wave my ticket. The first rule of speed of service, never over sell the time. If it's gonnabe 30 mins plus, say 40 mins, gimme a bs reason, short handed, etc, I don't care! But why would you tell me it'll be 10 mins?! So finally got the food. Flavor was pretty good. Lobster, was okay. I wished the shrimp had the head on. Clams were big. Sausage was good. Potato seemed like the diced ones from a can, they were so small. The crab, however, is the driest. Yep, for a place that exclaims "Quality Seafood," it was kind've of a let down. They taste like the bottom batch of the crab at Las Vegas buffet. You know the batch that sits on the bottom, they don't ever rotate because the employees don't care. So it's just marinating in its own dry filth. The crab was so dry I could put that in an Advil bottle instead of cotton. So now if you ask me, would I come back? Maybe, just maybe. Anytime soon? Nah, not right now. Also with the mention of a tourist trap, it's no different than Seattle's Pike Place and surroundings.

We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and disappeared fast. Then came the Fish & Chips. The fish was crispy, golden brown, and cooked perfectly. What really surprised me was the portion size. These weren't little pieces of fish hiding under a pile of fries--they were massive pieces of cod. My wife and I couldn't stop laughing at how much fish they served. To top it all off, we shared the key lime pie, and it was outstanding. Smooth, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
