Loved it. Inside is bright, modern , and spacious. There's a decent amount of seating in the main area. TVs over the bar to watch a game. There's also a large backroom with picnic tables and a small outdoor patio area. It's a good place for groups. They got a good happy hour Mon-Fri 3-6. Highlights are the $10 margaritas and food specials. Can definitely recommend the frozen margarita. The tacos are good. They're a more fusion style so not your normal street taco. The open face quesadilla is great for soaking up the booze. I'll definitely be coming back to try more. Add them to your happy hour list. Service was good. Friendly staff. There's street parking but you might have to walk a block or two. First off all there is plenty of parking all over street and they might have their own lot but I have never had an issue finding free parking. The location is large bench tables in the back enough where kids can play and so much room for a large party. Front of the restaurant has tables/chairs and there is also a large outdoor area to eat and party. We had a party of 25 people but so did plenty of groups there at the same time. Now food time. This is what you can order at Taco Social: WAGYU SMASH BURGER, RIBEYE BULGOGI, CARNE ASADA, QUESABIRRIA, TIKKA MASALA , GREEK LIFE, CHICKEN QUESO, MEXI-CALI , BANH MI, PORK DUMPLING, NASHVILLE HOT COD, AHI POKÉ, BAJA FISH, CAJUN SHRIMP, BAJA SHRIMP, THAI CHILI, FALAFEL, and TEMPURA CAULIFLOWER. We ordered like 4 of everything so I was able to sample everything! Loved it all. Must consume when warm bc once it gets cold it doesn't taste the same. Take some home to heat up. This may the first instance that I've EVER felt that MAY have felt treated differently because of my looks. I will start by saying there was in fact a decent line for dine in so i opted to order takeout at the kiosk. BUT that does not excuse the fact that i can tell the employees were mad there was a rush. Through gritted teeth they seemed to turn on the "fake nice" with all the other patrons and being the only asian awkwardly standing patiently waiting for my order i was never acknowledged ONCE. I was standing by the bar while the employees shot fake smiles and formalities with every other patron passing by while shooting me side eyes every few mins and avoiding eye contact. I waited over 40 mins for a couple of tacos. ON TOP OF THAT after walking outside and asking myself whats taking so long i walked back over and saw my order sitting behind the cashier without any name or number being called. I had to then ASK THEM MYSELF "is that my order?" Then they asked for my name and they said "oh yes, thank you for you patience" That was the only thing that was said to me the entire 40 mins of me awkwardly standing listening to the employees chat up everyone else. Since I moved from Glendale, I forgot I wanted to try this place until I ran some errands in the area. Coming here on a random Wednesday around 3 pm, I found plenty of parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, and I was impressed by how much bigger this place is compared to how it looks. There's a lot of indoor seating and a nice little patio in the back. I can see lots of big parties coming here to hang out. I ordered a happy hour Mexi-Cali quesadilla, sangria, and house fries. I had to wait a bit for my food (maybe 10 minutes), but my food was overall tasty (maybe a bit oilier than I expected but still tasty). I live so close to this delicious restaurant, and I finally got the chance to check it out. This is a very family friendly restaurant. I came on a Friday night, and the entire patio was filled with families. I also made it right on time before "social hour" ended. The discounted beverages were great during social hour. The food and drinks came out so fast. We came here with family and our kids. They have multiple rooms and outdoor patio that provides lots of space for kids to socialize. The service staff is very helpful and friendly. When you walk in you order at the counter then grab a table. If you forget to order something or want more food there is a QR code on the table for you to place additional items. My friend suggested the bulgogi taco so I had that one and I tried the nashville hot cod taco. Omg both of them were soooo good! They are big sized tacos. Oh Taco Social. I love your vibe. If you've ever had Velvet Taco (mostly in the south), you know the deal. Bold, non-traditional tacos that scratch the comfort food itch and down well. Sadly, I didn't have the best experience. When I walked in , I wasn't greeted or given any customer service on where to sit so I just grabbed a seat at the bar. Bartender's energy was flat, seemed like he didn't like to work there. He didn't offer any information on the menu so we ordered one of every taco to really get an idea. The tacos came out at a good time but they were extremely greasy, lack of flavor, and overall very flat , especially for the price. Spent over $100 on the food and had one margarita on tap (also very flat in flavor) . We Stayed to watch the game for a while but the ambiance was very loud intoxicated older gentleman. Came here for a catered event (was in the back patio and the event was catered by Taco Social themselves). The Ribeye Bulgogi and Baja Shrimp tacos were two of my favorites. Doesn't have to be Tuesday for tacos! Been wanting to come here for the longest time. Was excited to see such a wide variety of tacos. Didn't realize that they were all made on homemade flour tortillas, which I love! Each of their tacos are unique, seasoned well and delicious! We ordered the wagyu smash burger, Thai chili shrimp and the Banh-mi tacos, each taco tasted exactly what they were! I loved the Thai chili shrimp taco and would definitely come back just for that one! They offered two salsas, one red and one habanero, personally I did not like either one, honestly, these tacos do not need additional salsa. They do not have a typical taco condiment area, as the tacos stand on their own, no additional condiments needed. These are not your typical street tacos, so don't expect that, trust me, you will be pleasantly surprised! Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu! Great customer service! They were just okay, and that is a tough place to land in Southern California where tacos are basically a religion and the competition is fierce. So of course, it was on my list the minute I got to town. We went one night and it was packed. Parking wasn't great but once we got inside everything move smoothly. I came in today because this is one of my favorite spots, but unfortunately the experience wasn't great. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a burrito. What made it more frustrating was the attitude and the lack of communication about the delay. I come here pretty regularly, around 2-3 times a month, so this isn't the experience I'm used to having here. Before leaving I spoke with the manager, but the apology didn't feel very sincere. I understand places can get busy, but it would really help if customers were given a heads up when ordering if the kitchen is backed up. That way people can decide if they want to wait. Everything about this restaurant is just right - especially on a warm day when you get to sit by their large open windows. I am a big fan of their cauliflower tacos.
