Moved into the neighborhood several years ago. Walked by this place multiple times and I finally tried out this place. The menu is so large, I had a hard time deciding. Since I love a good fish taco, I decided to try that. My order came out pretty quickly. Loved everything that was included with my fish tacos. My only complaint is how small the fish tacos were. 1 star simply because it is cute place with free customer parking, and quick service but patio area had way too many flies and the shredded chicken in my nachos was puréed to a point it was liquified and it was also extremely bland similar to the beans. Everything was a pretty watery consistency and requires a mix of both free salsas and steer clear of the liquid guacamole with no flavor. They offer red and green chilaquiles and they come with a Side of Mexican rice and beans. The chilaquiles are topped off with crema and diced onions which add a nice flavor to them. I sometimes like to add carnitas to them and they are sooo good. I went with the shrimp burrito while my girlfriend went with some fish tacos. Owner cannot control his temper and is rude to his customers if you complain about the food or drinks. This place had some delicious breakfast burritos! I saw many people recommending them and they did not lead me astray. We got the chorizo, potato, and egg burrito and the bacon, potato, and egg burrito and split them. They were both delicious! The beans in them really made them. Also, they have some great salsa. Normally I only go for the green for breakfast burritos, but I loved both the red and green salsas and kept rotating which I used for each bite. They were very fast with making the food and bringing it out to us (we dined there). And all very nice staff! My family walks here 3-4 times a month for Mexican food. It's family-owned and I love the service and how much they care about good food. We usually get chicken or lengua burritos. I get a bean and cheese burrito for my 2 year old. I finally had the menudo since I was craving my abuelita's and it's tasty! It's been about 2 weeks so i had this burrito and i still think about it. i got the potatos and egg and it was so good on its own (imo), but you have to absolutely drench your bites in the red and green salsas they have. Just a short review this time...There are only a couple of really good Mexican restaurants on Sunset and Tacos Delta is one of them. They have a nice, open patio in the back of the restaurant and we were lucky enough to get a table on a busy Saturday afternoon. We got two plates with fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Both were great and the red hot sauce is perfect...Spicy and the heat lingers on your lips for another 30 minutes. They give you a lot of fish and shrimps in their tacos. We literally could have made a couple of extra tacos per plate with the extra seafood. The beans and rice were good and very neutral flavor.
