Great service the girl helping us out was nice and attentive. The food was ok I've eaten here before but decided to try Something new. I tried the Chile relleno it was pretty good, my husband tried the bistec ranchero but it was ok the sauce really didn't have flavor. My son could not believe I had never had chili relleno he's like Mom you gotta try it. Well if I went by tonight's I would never order it again. The cheese was hard on the inside not melted. The chili was under cooked, it was hard and stringy I could not cut through it. Too stringy to eat. Just yuck! Then I had a crispy carne asada taco which had more gristle then actual meat...out of about 8 bites of meat 6 were fat and gristle, unchewable! The shell tasted like a store bought preformed shell that was refried, really gross. In the past they tasted like fresh homemade light and crisp not heavy and grease soaked. I had the red chilaquiles with eggs, beans, rice, queso fresco, and sour cream. To drink I had the cinnamon coffee. Omg everything was so good. They serve your food with chips and this green salsa that is absolutely amazing! The customer service was also great!! This restaurant is fairly large so they can accommodate large groups. They are also very kid friendly. There is no outside seating, but that's okay. The food is really good and the price is right. On the weekends there can be a bit of a wait so make sure you give yourself a little extra time in the event you need to wait a little while to be seated. Driven here many times and decided to eat here for lunch. It's a sit down restaurant. The service was pretty quick. The decor is not much but simple and old. The menu was straight to the point Mexican food. I ordered the carne asade tacos plate. It came with three tacos, beans and rice. They also gave us complimentary chips and salsa. They are famous for the creamy green sauce. chips and salsa - These were so good! Freshly made tortilla chips over red salsa and creamy green sauce. Some of the most addicting chips I've ever eaten! They open from breakfast (9am but I could get in like 845 am). Everything comes with chips, which is nice. They have beers and Mexican candies as well. Cafe de olla: sweet coffee with concentrated brown sugar and cinnamon. I'm not a coffee fan, but this is very good! Sweet coffee - you don't need to add sugar at all! Tea (Iranian): Black tea with cinnamon. I prefer "Cafe de olla". Breakfast burrito: Choice of meats (bacon, chorizo etc.), potatoes, cheese, grilled bell peppers and onions. HUGE! It's like my palm size. Tacos: Each taco had 2 pieces of tortilla. Lots of meats in it. 2 tacos made me more than full. If you don't say anything, they'll put a salsa and guacamole on it. Since they have good amount of salsa varieties, I recommend you to ask for NO salsa on it when you order - you should try and pick your favorite salsa!! Carne Asada - very spicy. If you liked spicy, you'll like it. Carnitas: a bit dry but tasty. My favorite. Lengua - Beef tongue was a bigger chunk than usual and very tender, not stinky. Not bad. Chorizo - very tender and spicy. A bit stinky, not my favorite. Salsa bar: They have various salsas. ALL spicy. Nothing is mild ;( NO typical pico de gallo. I liked the brownish colored ones and salsa verde. But it's very cool that they have all kinda salsas. Good. Heard about this family owned establishment and was able to stop by while in the area. The stand alone building is easy to find, next to a Target as other reviews may mention. The inside decor is fairly decent, with what appears to be, solid dark wood table with a heavy clear lacquer finish. There isn't a host table or cashier, so when I walked in to try and order food to go, I walked into the main dining area, which felt awkward. So, I retreated towards the door, where they had a wall menu to gaze at (Spanish with small English translation). I ordered un taco de cameron (shrimp taco) y un torta de carne asada (grilled beef sandwich). While I sat on a long booth like seat, I noticed a salsa bar. I went to check it out; they had over 6 different types of salsa, including two green salsas. Hearing about their green salsa, I filled a small to go cup of each. When I got home, I dug in: Shrimp Taco - Amazing! Lots of fresh plump shrimp overflowing the medium size corn tortillas, lots of flavor. This could easily be considered two tacos at any other restaurant. Oh, and they placed a nicely grilled green onion over the bed of finely chopped cabbage. Yum! Beef Torta - Again, wowzers! This is a really great Torta! The carne was cooked to perfection and the portions was also pouring out of the torta. Their famed green sauce was spicy, but very delicious! This place is getting the full 5 star treatment for me. Maybe it's because their burritos are the best I've found recently. Or maybe it's because their salsa bar has some of the best salsas ever. A few things I've learned by coming here: all of their meats are delicuous, however the asada makes for the best burrito. I found that the shredded meats like carnitas and barbacoa and the softer meats like the al pastor and lengua tend to get lost in the delicious haven that is the beans and rice. The chunkier, sturdier meats like asada and pollo really stand out against the beans and rice. The other meats aren't bad by a long shot, but for me the asada makes the best burrito. The lengua makes for some amazing tacos, and the fact that they use a liquid cheddar cheese on their nachos makes them that much more delicious. As for the salsas, like everyone else is saying the yellowish creamy salsa is the best. It's a wonderful blend of yellow jalapeños and Mexican crema that has the right amount of hear and perfect blend of creaminess. The other light green tastes like an avocado and jalapeño salsa that is chunky andvtasty. Even their red salsas have a kick, they have more of a sleeper heat so after you try it wait a second as you feel the heat settle down. I think you should definitely try this place at least once. If you like Mexican food then this place is right up your alley. read more

I don´t know where to start here, but I guess in a few words this places is the best for mexican food at an affordable price, great taste and good service. This is the second time my husband and I come here, we´re so impressed with the authenticity, big size of plates, how delicious and affordable it is. I had a wet burrito on green sauce, with barbacoa and rice and beans; he had a torta cubana with french fries. Both were so delicious, I love the rice by the way and oh! the best is the Agua de Horchata, one of the most authentic I´ve ever had. Their menu is quite large and flexible, you can order Chilaquiles if you like even if it's not breakfast time. I have been going to this place for many years. The food is great. Today I went in for lunch with my coworkers. I had a glass of water that smell and test like Chlorine. I vomited it a little bit and it has that nasty after taste. My coworker did the same thing. The manager/owner was not there, but the waitress did offer us a free meal. Owner/Manager please do not use the same container to fill it up with chlorine and clean, then use that container to serve water. Service: -very poor, we did get greeted and seated right away, we had our order taken immediately but after we got our food we were ignored for a long time, I even had to get up to look for the waitress when I needed more drinks and salsa. I noticed that they are very bad organized and have bad communication among them because they kept taking the wrong orders to the tables and they kept bumping into each other trying to take orders from one client. I tried Tacos Sinaloa for the first time and I really liked it. It isnt the cleanest restaurant ever, but that has never stopped me before. The people behind the counter were nice and very helpful. The menu is fairly large, so it takes a little while to get a grasp on what you want. I had the shrimp ceviche and a torta milanesa and both were very good. The torta was well made and tasty.....the right combination of warm and cool ingredients. The ceviche was really good....crisp, strong citrus, and very fresh tasting. I would order both again. I went at lunch time and there seemed to be a lot of people dining in.....I figured that part of the reason was the awesome salsa bar. Back in the day, this used to be a Carl's Jr and then was a Chinese food spot and has now become Tacos Sinaloa. I kept driving by and meaning to pop in here and give it a try. My buddy had recommended it and so I finally got the chance to check it out. So as with any Mexican food spot, my first time there I always go tacos. I feel as if that is a good starting line for what the rest of the menu has to offer. The place is a combo of take-out or sit-down. I opted to sit down and was greeted with chips and two kinds of salsa. They have a great thicker green salsa that is blended with avocado. Pretty tasty and I recommend it. I ordered two carnitas and one al pastor taco. They came quickly and I had two al pastors and one carnitas. No big deal as I like both. What I was surprised with was the size of the tacos, they are not your average size street tacos. It was tough to take down all three. They were good, the al pastor had good flavor and the carnitas was as expected. Nothing that will blow you away by any means but still good. There is a lot to tackle on this menu and I am sure they do stuff that is really fantastic, it will be worth checking back in here and trying other things on the menu. I had high hopes for Tacos Sinaloa as it's right down the street from me so I was hoping I'd find my new go-to authentic Mexican food place. I got 3 different tacos cuz that's pretty much how I judge my Mexican places... apples to apples right? ;) Well, the price was reasonable and the service was friendly, although it's not clear where to order when you first walk in as there's no cashier, etc. You kind of have to make eye contact with one of the people behind the counter and hand your $ over the deli style fixtures-- which is not a big deal but a tad confusing at first. Onto the food.. well, they looked like your typical authentic taco w onions, cilantro and salsa. I tried the fish taco first and was immediately disappointed - the fish was soggy and flavorless. I wouldn't order this one again and honestly, didn't even finish it. Next I tried the chicken -which was okay but nothing special and maybe bordering on a tad bland. Third was the carne asada...now, I love me some carne asada tacos and that's usually what I order but this was the epitome of 'meh'. Not sure what cut of meat they are using but it had a weird texture and the flavor just wasn't doing it for me. There are so many good authentic taco places in the OC that I doubt I'llbe back unless I was really hungry and in the area. It wasn't the best very cramped and crowded and smelled of fabuloso was kind of confused on how to order but it ended up being that they serve you at the table where you order at as well. My husband and I have a love/hate relationship with this place because their food is good but their service is crap. Their hours are supposed to be from 9am-10pm every day, but don't bother calling at 9 in the morning to order because apparently they don't have a cook until about 9:30.
