The food and service here is amazing! A courtesy salad and kimichi is given out before your food is served. I tried the boneless Soy Garlic and Sweet and Spicy chicken and it was amazing. They come with a side of wedge fries, which were perfect. The food came out in decent time and was fresh. I love the trays they had for the food I ordered, it was very appealing to the atmosphere. First i want to point out that the waiter was really nice. However, there was one waiter for 8+ tables or so; therefore, it was pretty slow service all round. I ordered the tukkbokki, cold noodle and whole chicken and they were awful. As a person who's tasted a lot of the above in various different places in the world, it was one of the worst places i've eaten at. Tukkbokki: pretty bland (very little spice & flavor), very small amounts of rice cakes and fishcakes for what you pay for. cold noodle: bland, very americanized, just seems like water + noodles + salad. Chicken (got half soy + half normal) : This was the oiliest and saltiest chicken i've ever had in my life. Literally thought I would get a heart attack after I ate half of it. With ever squeeze of any inch of that chicken, it was just oozing with oil and drenched in something salty. Happy to try out this new Korean fried chicken spot in Chinatown but walked out not as satisfied. The fried chicken (wings) were nicely fried, crispy and the outside skin/shell was tasty, however the meat had no flavor just bland. There was also a distinctive "chicken" taste in some of the pieces - yes I know we were eating chicken... but I'm talking about the meaty/gamey almost bloody taste (it was cooked though). A little disappointed. The biggest shock/disappointment was the HSBC ramen... epic fail (see my photo). If I had just taken a photo when it was placed on the table, you would think I ordered a simple kimchi soup (with no ingredients). Using the provided utensil to prop-up the contents within - it was a literally HALF a pack of shin ramen, a few pieces of CHOPPED kimchi (tiny), 2 shavings of ham; THERE WASNT EVEN AN EGG. I saw some photos online and the dish I received was def NOT the same. There needs to be some consistency with the dishes that come out. The good - the free kimchi was really tasty! lol An observation my party made - every table was given 2 free starters, ours was salad and kimchi. Came here alone, the service was amazing right at the start, seated me promptly. Heard about their KFCs being amazing so ordered the small combo (4 wings and 2 drumsticks), even though small I was still offered to be able to try half and half, chose the original and at the waitress' recommendation tried the 1982 heritage sweet & spicy. They served me a salad, which I wasn't expecting, it tasted fresh and flavorful from the dressing. It was a decent size salad as well. The wait to get the chickens were longer than what I have experienced elsewhere, about 15-20 min, that's because they fry it fresh or so I heard. That was confirmed when I saw steams coming out of the wings. Wings were good, outside texture was crunchy and juicy meat inside, along with pipping steams. Presentation was also there, covered with spring onion and sesame seeds. To me, nothing amazing about the original, tasted kind of plain imo, but some people like milder tastes; the sweet and spicy however, was amazing. I don't enjoy spicy food, and it certainly was enjoyable, very rich in taste. Would 100% get it again. The wait will need to happen in order to produce great chickens, even though will turn away some customers. Hope they keep up the quality! read more

I'm not mad abt it but I know some of my friends they don't eat chicken with bones so they would ask for refund. I've tried a lot of actual Korean fried chicken before this place is alright.
