This place is really not bad. As for Taiwanese food, like I always say, I'm not usually a big fan of it -- but this restaurant is truly outstanding

I love going to this homey comfort spot with my parents. My mom is Hakka so she loves coming here to eat some of the traditional dishes. I personally love eating the ban tiao because it's one of the popular dishes in my grandma's hometown. It was flavorful and reminded me a little of the ban tiao I had at my grandma's. There's a dry version too but I prefer the soup one.

Food is so so so good here!! This is definitely one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in the area! My most favorites would probably be the oyster pancake, shaved ice, and the noodles. Other times I also order the chicken roll, or their most famous pork dish. Everything is tasty and well done!! Everyone working is super friendly and theyre also quick to bring out anything you might need. They're also quick to pick up any empty plates so the table never got too overwhelming The atmosphere in the store is great, its a very comfy spot and I love the decor around the store. Definitely recommend this place!

Basil Three Delight - A tasty trio of chicken, squid, and intestine stir-fried with basil for that classic aromatic kick. Savory and full of wok flavor! Ground Pork Over Rice - Simple, hearty, and so satisfying. The rich, savory pork paired perfectly with fluffy rice Wan Luan Pork Hock - The soy-based sauce had a deep, rich taste. Tender, flavorful

I wouldn't say it's authentic, but WOW! It's delicious! Oyster Pancake --- tbh. I was really surprised. Not only did the oyster tasted fresh, it was super tasty! I believe there was mochi in the pancake(?). It definitely tasted something out of the ordinary. Salted Fried Tofu --- imo, the fried egg yolk and peanut crumbs is quite flavorful, it's goes great with some rice~ This one is my current #1 favorite! Fried Rice with Sakura Shrimp --- the seasoning felt light, but that works for me because it pairs exceptionally well with the other dishes we had ordered. Pork Hock --- juicy and tender!

Came for lunch on Father's Day with hubby and MIL. Complimentary hot tea. Taiwan Style Oyster Pan Fry - Small oysters in tapioca pancake with gravy on top. It was just OK. A Choy - stir fried with garlic. I felt it was over cooked, would have liked it more crunchy. Squid with Special Sauce - The sauce with onions were flavorful but the squid was bland to me. Pork Hock with Rice - It also came with ground pork, bamboo shoots, pickle veg, cooked spinach, and marinated egg, This was my favorit dish 5% discount for cash payment

Food: pork knuckles pretty yummy. A bit stinky smell though. I eat it for the collagen boost! The veggies that come with it is yummy. The oyster egg is okay. Doesn't taste super fresh but decent. The beef black pepper was ick. The beef was not fresh, not good. Service: fast to take order. Slow to bring dishes. Took like 20+ mins for the beef to arrive. Ambiance: casual. Pretty stuffy.

Uniquely decorated and cozy mom-and-pop vibe restaurant with delicious Taiwanese comfort food! I've been here many times throughout the past decade and it's good to see that the food is continuously great and authentic. For my most recent time, it was almost a full house on a Saturday evening but my party of 4 was seated right away. Menu is extensive and everything was great. Food was served quickly and employees are very friendly and efficient! We shared the ban tiao (soup), mi tai mu (dry), wan luan pork hock, pork chop over rice, sui qua (si gua) with salty eggs, and Hakka delight. For dessert, we got the fried buns with condensed milk and fen guo with brown sugar. My favorites were the wan luan pork hock, pork chop over rice, and sui qua (si gua) with salty eggs. The wan luan pork hock is so tender with both fatty and lean parts, and the garlicky sauce it comes with is so tasty. The pork chop over rice was yummy and a hearty portion for an affordable price. It came with delicious and perfectly marinated pork, rice, assorted vegetables (cabbage & carrots), bamboo shoots, minced pork, and an egg. Sui qua (si gua) with salty eggs had good, strong flavor without being too overbearing.

We met up with some friends and had lunch. We tried some other dishes... Simmered Pig's Ear: Tender slices of simmered pig's ear, garnished with fresh cilantro and a hint of chili for a subtle kick (3/5). Served cold and had that crunch. Taiwanese Napa Cabbage Clay Pot Soup: Napa cabbage and select ingredients simmered in a traditional Taiwanese style, served in a clay pot (4/5). Flavorful and tasty, though a bit oily. Beef Chow Fun: Flat rice noodles stir-fried with beef, onions, and bean sprouts, typically seasoned with soy sauce (3/5). This was just ok. It needed more soy sauce and that wok-hay.

Authentic Taiwanese food in Milpitas with super fair price. The best item is the pork chop noodle soup. A lot of people ordered the pig feet but I personally don't eat that so I didn't try. It takes some time for the items to arrive but they are very fresh. Servers are very friendly. Plenty of seats. Parking may be difficult during weekend. Will for sure return!

I've heard that authentic Taiwanese cuisine is more plentiful in the South Bay but haven't had a chance to try it until now. A friend and I came here for a casual lunch during the weekend and while the restaurant was quite busy, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. We relied on Yelp to select 3 dishes to try: fried oyster pancake, sautéed green beans, and basil fish. We really enjoyed the green beans and fish and thought the oyster pancake was so-so (but definitely authentic, based on what I've tried in Taiwan). I also got a winter melon drink and it tasted really fresh, not too sweet. Was a good price point as well! The wait staff were friendly though they may assume you speak Mandarin if you're Asian. The menus all have English. I'd come back here to try their pork hock (another highly recommended dish) and their pork rice/beef noodle soups. Overall, a solid spot to try/partake in Taiwanese cuisine!

Pork Wonton with Chili Sauce - 9/10. The dumpling were so juicy and the pork inside was very flavorful. The chili sauce added a nice kick of spice and was so savory. Braised Chicken with Flat Noodles - 8/10. The flat noodles were the best part of the dish and honestly it wasn't spicy! Numb Spicy beef flat Noodles - 10/10. This dish had a strong kick to it! It was spicy but the best part was that the spice did not overwhelm the flavor. The wide chewy noodles soak up every bit of the rich savory sauce making each bite so flavorful. It is in the same plaza as the popular porridge place and New China Tofu (where they used to sell Stinky tofu - but that is for a different story). The place is roomy and clean, the service was decent, friendly enough but we had to ask for sharing bowls and spoons. The order is the usual QR code so you order online, but pay offline. They have plenty of selection, but since it was just the 2 of us, and based on the name, noodles should be must orders. We had a soupy version (hot and sour fish) and a dry version (spicy ground pork), with a side order of cold appetizer (shredded tofu skin salad). The cold appetizer was a bit salty, but the overall flavor was pretty good. We added more chili oil that is available on the table. There was a wait between the appetizer and the next dish, we finished the appetizer before the first noodle arrived. Hot & Hour Fish - we selected the hand-cut noodles. The noodles were thick with just the right amount of chewiness. The broth was amazing with just enough kick, not too spicy. The fish was tender and the tofu was wonderful. The only "veggie" was the pickled/perserved mustard greens. We really enjoyed this one. Dry/Stir spicy noodles with ground pork - we selected the thick flat noodles for this. The presentation was beautiful and we could smell the chili powder and it was wonderful. A bit oily, which i understand as we need the oil to get the sauce mixed and noodles do not all stick together. The kick for this dish is actually less than the fish noodles, and not too salty, which was great after the salty appetizer and the strong flavor of the fish noodles. We did not finish and had to bring them back home. And we know we will be back!

I remember this place used to be Chef Chengdu, but recently closed down and rebranded to become Super Potato. Here's my take and my experience on this place, as a first timer thus far: - The food was honestly out of this world, and when I say the portions are BIG - they were actually enough to cover the container (and even more). That's how much they have. I got the beef tripe with Chinese broccoli and rice, and while I had wished they included more Chinese broccoli, the sauce of the beef tripe was SO pungent and aromatic that I was able to sauce up my rice and enhance the flavor of my plain white rice. - The hospitality of this place was quite well - the waitresses are very attentive to each detail. Our requests were met conveniently without any hesitation. Ambience was also pretty well maintained. I'm definitely gonna come back and have more!! A budget friendly place forsure :)

On the positive side, they do offer a large variety of ingredients to choose from. When my bowl was served, I realized it wasn't the one I had ordered. They had accidentally switched my bowl with another customer's. Later, while eating, I came across some of the marinated cilantro beef, which looked raw. I asked the server if it could be cooked a bit longer, but she explained that it was supposed to be pink. I tried a small piece, but the texture was still very tender, which made me uncomfortable. It also didn't have the texture of what I expected from beef. My cousin also had an issue with her bowl. The lotus root slices were cut fairly thick, so after cooking, it was still undercooked and crunchy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the cleanliness concerns, the order mix-up, and the food quality. There are plenty of ingredient options, but I don't see myself returning.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Each one of them are slightly unique, and they're all really good! If the high ratings weren't a accurate indicator, then the packed venues are definitely a conformation. Henan Noodle isn't the biggest venue, it's actually on the smaller side; small mom & pop operation. The place is charming, clean and inviting with a minimalist decor. The restaurant is located in a small plaza off N Milpitas Blvd. I forsee challenging parking during peak times; the lot is not that big either. The service was fine. Everything necessary was already laid out on the table, well organized and ready to dine in; bowls, chopsticks, cups, napkins, soup spoons and cold water. Scan the QR code on the table and place your order. Food came out in a timely manner. I'm not sure if lady running the place (at the time of our visit) speaks English; she gave us instructions in Chinese, I'm guessing Mandarin. We had no clue what she said, but were able to figure out what she was telling us...basically the condiments are self serve, small station in the corner against the wall. #SendNoods Braised Noodle 烩面: ~ Pickled Cabbage & Black Fish with Lamb 酸菜黑鱼羊汤烩面 - 5/5 Brilliant flavor. Well balanced, not too salty, gamey or creamy. Just perfect! The pieces of fish were so tender, good amount of noodle and that pickled cabbage...just brilliant! We didn't feel the need to add anything. ~ Lamb Stew Noodle 羊肉烩面 - 4.5/5 Another banger! The broth on this one was a bit bland, while it tasted clean and healthy we thought it was lacking a bit of flavor. We added a bit of Chili oil and walah!!! Perfection... lol.
