The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

We ordered the hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, and a mixed vegetable dish -- all of it came out to just about $50, which is a great deal for the quality. With how tasty everything was, I'm honestly surprised the place wasn't more crowded. It definitely deserves more attention. We'll be coming back for sure. I'm taking one star off because an older staff member was loudly yelling at a customer next to us, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the food and value were great.

TLDR: they double dip for tip under your nose by charging you extra without your knowledge They charged me automatically for dining with 3 for tip when I had already left a tip, demanded that every restaurant charges an auto tip even for a party of 1. They will automatically charge you a gratuity even for a party of 2 under your nose, they will not provide you an itemized receipt so they can sneak money out of you. Before you tip, check the ITEMIZED receipt so you're not tipping ontop of the extra tip they charge without your knowledge. Bad business practices for a place that actually tastes good, shame honestly.

I am a huge fan of the noodles here -- very wide, flat and chewy. They also do not skimp out on the amount of food that they give you. The portions here are HUGE! The service is also very quick and they make sure to seat you right away and bring your food out in a timely manner. I went when it was busy and I was very satisfied with the efficiency. Pork Wonton with Chili Sauce - 9/10. The dumpling were so juicy and the pork inside was very flavorful. The chili sauce added a nice kick of spice and was so savory. Braised Chicken with Flat Noodles - 8/10. The flat noodles were the best part of the dish and honestly it wasn't spicy! Numb Spicy beef flat Noodles - 10/10. This dish had a strong kick to it! It was spicy but the best part was that the spice did not overwhelm the flavor. The wide chewy noodles soak up every bit of the rich savory sauce making each bite so flavorful. They also have so many toppings other than the beef too which I liked.

It is in the same plaza as the popular porridge place and New China Tofu (where they used to sell Stinky tofu - but that is for a different story). The place is roomy and clean, the service was decent, friendly enough but we had to ask for sharing bowls and spoons. The order is the usual QR code so you order online, but pay offline. They have plenty of selection, but since it was just the 2 of us, and based on the name, noodles should be must orders. We had a soupy version (hot and sour fish) and a dry version (spicy ground pork), with a side order of cold appetizer (shredded tofu skin salad). The cold appetizer was a bit salty, but the overall flavor was pretty good. We added more chili oil that is available on the table. There was a wait between the appetizer and the next dish, we finished the appetizer before the first noodle arrived. Hot & Hour Fish - we selected the hand-cut noodles. The noodles were thick with just the right amount of chewiness. The broth was amazing with just enough kick, not too spicy. The fish was tender and the tofu was wonderful. The only "veggie" was the pickled/perserved mustard greens. We really enjoyed this one. Dry/Stir spicy noodles with ground pork - we selected the thick flat noodles for this. The presentation was beautiful and we could smell the chili powder and it was wonderful. A bit oily, which i understand as we need the oil to get the sauce mixed and noodles do not all stick together. The kick for this dish is actually less than the fish noodles, and not too salty, which was great after the salty appetizer and the strong flavor of the fish noodles. We did not finish and had to bring them back home. And we know we will be back!

I was taken here on a weekday for dinner by someone that was born and raised in Hunan so he knows what's up. He told me that the dishes here tastes the closest to home so I was really looking forward to giving this place a try. The restaurant pretty quiet. There was only one person working the front so sometimes he will go to the back to bring out orders or help with to-go orders. From what I noticed, regulars will just go find an empty table to sit at when the staff isn't in the front. I would say the service was pretty standard. Food was yummy and there were a lot of dishes that I haven't seen before. I ordered the stirfry eggplant with green beans, spicy fish stomach, and the Hunan Style Fried Rice Cake. The stirfry had good wok hei and flavor. The crunchy fish stomach was cooked with 3 different types of pepper which made the dish spicy with a hint of sour. The rice cake had sugar sprinkled on top and had a nice texture. I asked for asked for extra sesame on my dessert and the serve was nice enough to bring out a little bowl for me. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes next time!
