Was craving quesabirria so we looked up options on door dash. Once we saw elote and esquite it was a done deal. We were even more excited to see they had oxtail options. The quesa tacos were so good! I stick to oxtail or birria. I tried bacon but was not a fan because it was too salty. The corn is really good. The menu is crazy with how many options they have available.
We got the 20 tacos for 20$ but it was added 10$ for asada! SUPER GREAT DEAL ! ALMOST 1$ per taco if you get asada and if you don't it's 1$ and you can choose up to around 3-4 meats if I remember correctly! You also can get free chips and sauces so that is a plus. Only reason why it's kind of low for me is because the meat was a bit dry for me. Even when putting a lot of sauce it just got dry. BUT .. amazing deal if you wanna try! You can't get tacos that cheap anymore Maybe it was a bad cook this time but I would definitely go back to retry!
We went for the first time my husband wanted to try the big taco and it is huge you can't bite it. I had the wet burrito it was excellent The seating was limited so we got ours to go. It's a little pricy but the menu is large lots to chose from. Be prepared to wait but it's worth it. They have outside seating also. The server was nice they have a setup where you can bag your own chips salsa and peppers. They have custom made drinks and sodas in the can . We will be back soon
My Mexican pizza was very delicious. It was a little soggy in the middle. I'm not sure what they need to do to make this better. It comes with a seasoned sauce to pour over. The sauce is missing spice. I recommend adding some some type spice to the sauce. I added chili peppers. I also would've preferred for the jalapeños to be roasted. I would definitely buy it again though.
Three taco giveaway on Cinco de Mayo! The place was Poppin. It was very kind of them to give away the tacos, I really enjoyed the tortillas they were quite soft and delicious. There was one taco that they made with a spicy sauce. It was very good.
Truly hidden gem in the bay area. Family meal from Taqueria Azteca, huge portion, perfect tacos, crispy golden fries, included salsa and tortillas chips all come in with amazing value. Highly recommeded!
We came during the month of march on a Tuesday as I saw an advertisement of $1 Taco Tuesday. We got there at 5pm, kind of early for dinner right, so not much people? Wrong. Lol There was a decent size line. Took about 15-20mins in line. Once we get to the front. We ordered and the guy says it will be at least an hour wait for the tacos. Whatttt. Well we already waited so long. Sure. Soon enough the place got packed. When we got our food and was eating, we hear people saying they are now announcing it is a 2 hour wait for tacos. Also, they messed up our order and it took an additional 30mins to get our correct order. It seemed a bit unorganized in there. I think it was just so many people. The sad part was that the food wasnt that good.... It was very mid. The steak was chewy and tough. The carnitas was big chunks. Barely cut up. The fish was over cooked. I am thinking with how busy it was, they lacked on the quality of the tacos. Sad.
This is one of our go to restaurants for authentic Mexican food. The flavors are very traditional and the portions are huge! The staff is very friendly and always wants to make sure to get your food out quickly and correctly. It does get pretty crowded, especially late night. Highly recommend the steak quesadilla or enchiladas.
this place is so gross! the meat has no flavor, the pico has huge chunks of onion, the horchata is obviously powder mix and the chips are overcooked. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I visited Taqueria Azteca in Dublin, CA [7155 Amador Plaza Rd] on Sunday, 01/25/26, around 6:30 PM. I decided to place a takeout order. I ordered one of the soup options - the PhoBirria with Short Rib. It included pho noodles, birria, short rib, sprouts, lime, cilantro, and onions. The soup was extremely delicious and flavorful. What I loved most was the tender short rib meat, along with the rich flavor of the broth and birria. The entire dish left me feeling full and completely satisfied. For about $25, it was worth every penny. The order took a while to prepare since it was during the dinner rush. It was a good thing that I called ahead because it took about 35 minutes for the order to be completed. The salsa bar area was also running a little low on a couple of the salsas. Overall, Taqueria Azteca offers wonderful food. I would definitely return again for the epic PhoBirria with Short Rib soup.
I came here to get lunch to go. My first time here. I asked the cashier what was their most popular and famous dish, he said Quesabirria with consome, so I said ok, I will try, one please. I tried it when I got home and it was indeed delicious. Three Quesabirria with console at $16.95 plus tax was almost $20. There were free chips and salsa that you can help yourselves to get. Overall, meal was delicious. I saw churros was on the menu, didn't get to order that yet, maybe next time.
These people are amazing!! I love them!! The service is always happy and friendly despite the long lines of people staring at them. I've been taking advantage of $20 for 20 tacos for the last couple weeks. Do not hesitate on getting food here come get it come get it now.
My second time here, I tried something very different. I've had a Birria pizza before elsewhere but now I got a carne asada. There are other choices of meats to choose from so I believe Birria is a choice here too. FYI I did ask for the jalapeños to be off Delicious...only 2 slices left for me to try the next day The Bao birria was different, good but not to the point I'd come back for more or put it on my must get list. It seems like you can order one or 5 that come with fries. I still have a few more items I want to try but it would probably be best to try it with a few people so I'll bring my girls next time. They are a small location though so don't bring a big party here. Small groups will enjoy their space. They have a kiosk to order on but I thought it was easier to order with the employee because I wanted to edit an item. Everyone pretty much likes ordering with the employee, I would see them hop on but go off when the employee was free to take orders. My wait wasn't long and the lady was kind enough to help assist me to the car with my order.

This is a Taqueria that is bustling with business in a little strip mall right behind the Safeway in Dublin plenty of parking and a little bit of outdoor seating.casual dining inside with Aztec inspired art on the walls, service was efficient and fast. The ordering process was easy, the line moved smoothly I ordered the giant Carnitas burrito added, jalapeño, the guacamole, salsa and chips. The burrito was so huge it had to be bent to fit in the long sheet pan it was served in. The carnitas was tender and well seasoned, the guacamole and salsa were delicious, the chips were made in house. The menu has lots of great options to choose from I'll be back to try a few. read more
Home of the Birria Ramen , a viral Taco as big as newborn baby. I followed them on IG and quite honestly they have a menu that is tremendously diverse. They have a Mexican pizza a large and a personal size. On a Tuesday lunchtime not a whole lot of people eating inside I basically could select wherever to sit and enjoy my lunch. Plenty of parking next door is a French pastry and TOGOS. They only have one order touch screen looks and another person ready to help you with any other questions you might have . Lots of pickup take out DOORDASH orders. I noticed people come in waves this day . Prices are little above normal for real Mexican food family style restaurant. Takes a little while to get the hang of the kiosks because at first couldn't define what category the oxtails were in , tacos or specialties, the menu is long and there are lots of sub categories which is a pro and a con. I end up ordering 3 oxtail tacos, with churro chocolate syrup and the horchata boba. The oxtail had plenty of meat but they had some fat on them and rubbery texture which I didn't like. The churro wasn't good as they place the 4 of them in a clear beverage plastic cup, they didn't seem fresh and felt a little hard. The horchata boba was my least favorite thing that day maybe it was the flavor and the boba wasn't to my liking . I'll never order those two again personally. Service is really nice and approachable. Place is super clean outside seating too. The instagram reels are cool to watch also. My rule is never order boba type drink from a non boba place. But the rest of the food is epic and traditionally tasteful Mexican pure food. I am gonna review the Mexican pizza and ramen birria next time . The dipping bowl was perfect I drank it like it was a bowl of soup at the end. You can leave your finished basket of food at your table and they will pick it up for you happily. They have a chips and salsa bar plenty of plastic utensils and napkins toothpicks etc. ,great spot for Mexican in Dublin ! read more

Popped in unexpectedly for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! What a cute taqueria in West Dublin! It's rare to find places that still offer self serve house made chips and salsa but this place does both! We ordered a California chile verde burrito and were impressed by its size and loved its flavors! Personally I love when California burritos replace rice and beans with fries which is exactly what they do. Parking is free in the lot outside too! read more

I saw a lot of customers here and had to give it a try. I wish I read the reviews beforehand. The menu was hard to decipher and it's hard for me to believe that the restaurant passed health inspection. On a positive note, the taco was delicious and the super burrito lasted for 3 meals. The Super burrito was close to $20, but it was huge and delicious. read more

Ordered their torta Cuban.. had an image and description. It's not what I got, we got a pineapple and hotdog sandwich. And when I asked them about it they said "that how we make it". And when I said that not what's described on the menu the girls answer was "I just work here".. so don't go here it's not worth it. The rest of our food was frozen fries and watery guacamole. I ordered French toast and chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were ok but didn't come with meat @ $18. (very overpriced) The French toast was a very large Sweet bread with a white sugar sauce on top. It was very thick, also tasted like perfume or something was on it . This was $18 ( I don't know what that was ) . The service was regular, the vibe was a bit off for Dublin . read more

Edible, mostly on the bland side for my taste. Mid service and nice ambiance. Plenty amount of in/outdoor seating. Margaritas are premixed and slightly on the syrupy side. Good salsa bar. Plastic utensils you get yourself! A self order kiosk is a plus if people at the register are taking a while to decide. It's a no go for a second opportunity. read more

All the food here is amazing, it has great service and the cooks are very friendly. The prices are great and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. I would definitely recommend coming here for a late night dinner or lunch. read more

Saw mention of these guys having a giant taco, so had to find them and give it a shot. Was not expecting it to be as big as it is though. This is like food challenge large taco. Setup almost like a taco salad, lots of rice and beans as the base, lettuce, guac, avocado, Pico, and of course your choice of meat. I knocked just over half of it out before tapping out. They don't have AC, so a bit warm in the building, plenty of fans and the music isn't over powering. It's definitely one of those "dives" that is worth checking out at least once in your life. Came here to try their big ass taco -- and man, they did not disappoint. The place is small and cozy, with extra seating outside to make up for the limited space inside. Now, about that taco... it was massive. Words can't even describe how big it was -- easily enough for two people, unless you're really hungry, then go for it. The restaurant was clean, the cashier was friendly, and the cooks in the back were cool and responsive. If you're in the mood for a giant, juicy steak taco, this spot definitely delivers. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! A few months after my previous disappointing review, I visited again. I think it was December of last year. What a turnaround. My favorite veggie fajita tacos are back and better than ever. Slightly smaller portion but still a good size. Nice presentation with newly branded paper liners. Warm corn tortillas cradled a colorful serving of crisp veggies, fresh avocado and yummy pico de gallo. Got 1 taco with black beans and the other with pinto. A squeeze of fresh lime juice and crunch of radish made an almost perfect bite. Only thing missing, the escabeche, aka Mexican pickled veg. No matter, still a yummy way to eat my veggies. The restaurant wasn't done with the redesign but if the tacos are an indication, the new Taqueria Azteca will be epic. read more

The food here is so hit or miss. It looks good on IG but I'm deff giving it a break. I've tried it about 3 times. The first time it was okay I got the pho birria. It lacked flavor. Gave it a second chance and that time it was better. This last time the burrito was so bland had no flavor and was poorly assembled. I had to toss the rest of it out it was disgusting to say the least. I'll stick to los perricos down the way. Plus they got my order wrong and forgot sour cream and added pico which I specifically said I didn't want. Don't let the IG fool you. read more

I've heard about this place a lot, especially their giant taco! I didn't think I could eat that much so I opted for the carne asada and shrimp quesatacos. They were delicious! Lots of flavor and fresh toppings. My sister had the loaded birria fries and shared the same sentiment. Overall, it's a small place with fast service and great food! My second visit to Taqueria Azteca with my first about 6 years ago...sadly, at the time didn't find my carne asada burrito memorable and prob why I didn't write a review. I decided to give Taqueria Azteca another try as I saw on IG the Beef Rib Pho birria and Bao birria (shredded, spiced braised beef). Sure the person on the Reel was raving "the best of both worlds of pho and birria" as she effortlessly lifts the meat off the bone with chopsticks. The concept sounds amazing as the consommé reminds me of Vietnamese beef stew which is one of my comfort food faves. This visit I ordered the bao birria with soft, steam bun, filled with flavorful birria and accompanied with consommé. It was a good try for me and will try the beef rib another time...though I did see a guy at the next table tugging and gnawing on that beef bone as his girlfriend was laughing. It definitely was not fall off the bone and looked tough...it probably could've been cooked another hour. I'm glad I didn't order it but will eventually as it still intrigues me. *** Overall 3.5 stars *** Place is set up for order at the counter and grab your item from the kitchen pass ... the order taker had zero personality and not very welcoming but did his job of taking my order and payment. I had been wanting to come here for a while now I wanted to try the Birria Tamale and their quesabirrias I was able to find parking rt in front of the business There is indoor and outdoor seating available We walked in and there was a line to order No problem Unfortunately all the empty tables were dirty and remained dirty until I asked the cashier to have them cleaned so we can sit down Salsa bar was a mess and out of most salsas I ordered 2 tacos Gobernador $5 each Those are good 2 shrimp tacos Friend said those were OK A Michelada that arrived way after my food arrived A birria Tamale that was old and dry HARD PASS I REALLY wanted to like this place Maybe next time .......
