Beautifully remodeled new restaurant! We have eaten here several times and can say the food has been so good. Our latest visit, one of 4 of us had the sushi and so good and very tastythe other 3 of us had the fish n' chips and it's the best fish n chips. Our waitress was new? but very accommodating, always checking for any questions we had that she didn't know, no guessing. We had 3 different desserts and they were all delicious, my personal favorite, the carrot cake and NO RAISINS! They are very busy and reservations are needed. Came back for Sushi night and it was excellent. The sushi chef came to our table and told us what fish they had, all flown in fresh. We got six rolls and sashimi, all were excellent. I can't wait to come back. They said sushi on Fridays-weekend. read more

Good evening. I have to admit Tasha Table is the best meal I have a had in Anacortes. Tasha herself is fun and lively! The sushi is best in town. We won't be going anywhere else. They fly their tuna in from Hawaii. The veggie lasagna and I quote, "better than little Italy in Chicago.l". If you know... you know! I had the Philly. I no longer have to drive to Lynnwood. The food here is just beyond great and tastes so fresh. The first time we came to Tasha Lee's was the Saturday of the arts festival so they had some good business so we totally understand the very short waits of getting seated and receiving our food, unfortunately our waitress (I believe is Tasha) had a very sour, non enthusiastic attitude which we could understand because they were a little busy so maybe she was having a rough weekend, oh well forgiven because the food was still great. We come in today, same waitress, and it definitely was not busy, but she still had us wait to get seated, took awhile to get our drink order & still didn't give us water we asked for, wouldn't respond when we would say thank you, drops off things at the table as if it was an inconvenience to her, offered specials to every table but us, was extremely bubbly to every one of her tables but us, and when she finally came around to us with a sightly better attitude, of course it was when we were getting ready to pay. Not sure if we just went in on bad days? But that's enough for me to not go back to physically eat there because who wants to feel like a bother? Not me:-). read more

This relatively new restaurant is absolutely fabulous! The food is farm-to-table, all healthy and fresh, and everything is prepared by the chefs on the spot. The Caesar's salad was the best I've ever had, not too tart, not too dull. I had the smashed hamburger, which was delicious, and I had never had a one before. I also had a couple of different cocktail drinks that I never tried before, and both were amazingly good -- a Sangria mix, and an Old Fashioned. The service provided by waitress Savanna was outstanding. We arrived around 4 p.m., so the place wasn't crowded. The owner has single-handedly created the designs on the walls, and it's a very pleasant look. I'm sure the place will be crowded later in the evenings. Five stars all the way! read more

Food was amazing. Sat down at the sushi bar and had Sushi Chef Brian get creative with some Chefs Special rolls. Dude is an artist and the fish was super fresh. Also, calamari salad was on point. It is wonderful to see that Anacortes, Washington has several restaurants that make a diligent effort to produce recognizably quality food that can compete in the culinary world. Food, taste and seasoning was exceptional. Plate presentation was good so I encourage them to continue to look for role models in the culinary world who are known for plate presentation. Ambience was exceptional from the decor to the collective hospitality that comes from the staff and the ownership which is on site at all times. After a visit on San Juan Island, my husband and I needed a quick but tasty lunch before our drive back to the city. We found Tasha Lee's Table online and gave it a try. We were so surprised by the quality and freshness of the food, and the great service. We got the African spiced cauliflower, whipped feta, and burger. Everything was delicious, but the cauliflower really stood out! We met the owner and she mentioned that they opened recently. If you are in Anacortes, give this place a visit! My husband and I dined there for the first time last night. We had heard RAVE reviews and they certainly were right! We started off with the cauliflower appetizer (which I could have eaten for dinner - it's that good!), then the house salad (marvelous!) and we both enjoyed the perfectly cooked scallops. We were so full but that dessert menu happened to land near us, and one of the helpful staff suggested the Pavlova. We couldn't resist and found room in our bellies, it was divine! Portions are good, quality is excellent, decor appealing, and friendly staff that feels very family oriented. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes! 5 stars folks!!! read more

I just had dinner at Tasha's Lee Table in Anacortes. I had heard really good things about the restaurant and it's great to see a new place in Anacortes. We had reservations for 4:30 for two people, but the restaurant was almost full already (weekend, holiday weekend, etc). I wish I could give more than 3 stars, but I was not impressed. This is a newer restaurant in town, so they might be working the kinks out a bit. Our waitress was nice enough but she was a bit overbearing. Came to our table constantly asking if we were ready to order, even though we didn't have our cocktails, napkins, or silverware yet. I see this is a constant problem in a lot of restaurants, as if they are rationing out cocktail napkins. She didn't know how to "read the room" so to speak. We ordered cocktails and the bartender brought them out, but the stems of the glasses were sticky. Still, not even the bartender brought out cocktail napkins for our drinks. We ordered waters, but only one water was brought out ( I guess they thought we were going to share?). Appetizer was okay. Dinner was decent. Also, the daughter of our waitress was eating dinner with her two toddlers (the grandchildren of the waitress), and they were sitting in the booth right behind us. The children were behaving like typical toddlers, but the waitress kept picking the toddler up and engaging that table. If you are at work, then you are being PAID to work. I thought this interaction was unacceptable and unprofessional. This restaurant is definitely not a place to bring small children. If you can't separate the two, then clock out and spend time with your family, but not on my dime. I didn't see a children's menu, and I want an adult place to eat dinner, not a daycare. Unfortunately, there is hardly any place these days that knows real service. Anthony's is one of the other high end restaurants in town, and even though they are pricey, at least they know the finer points of dining and service. Sorry, but I was not impressed.
