Didn't come here for the food but definitely showed up for their milk tea ... food looks great though. Service here is phenomenal. Sidney was super helpful and literally helped us out with our order. I decided on honeydew milk tea with full stevia and hubby decided on Vietnamese coffee with Stevia and light condensed milk. This place is so clean and very spacious. Parking is so conveniently available.

I've visited here a few times bc 1) this is the closest location to me and 2) they send me coupons or special deals via their rewards app. Parking: They're located in a small corner with a small parking lot. Usually when I visit, finding a spot is easy bc people are always coming in n out. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with limited indoor seating. It's very similar to any other Tastea locations. I think they're located in a dead spot bc I could never get signal inside. Service: You can place your order with a worker or place your order via the tablet. Throughput can take a while since they're low staff. Drinks & food: Their drinks are pretty consistent. Their milk teas taste as usual. Occasionally I get their Vietnamese coffee. Their Viet coffee is sweeter than most, but you can adjust to your liking. This was my first time trying their Chicken Jujutsu Bowl. It's basically popcorn chicken with rice, corn, & basil. It was actually really good; the chicken was coated & seasoned well. Pricing: It's what you'd expect from a supply chain boba shop. Highly recommend joining their rewards app to receive coupons and special deals.

I love tastea, unfortunately there aren't that many around my house. But this location, is top tier, they get your drink out so quick, and honestly just some of the best teas I've had, AND BOBA. Their boba is soo good. Today I went, and it was raining so we sat inside. When I went to go ask for my drink, they took a while, multiple people saw me but wouldn't ask me for my order, which is fine, I can wait and it must've been because of the rain and the people being inside ? Not sure. I got my drink, and it was super foamy, like a lot more foam than usual. Regardless, it was super good, and I'm glad they had seating inside since it was raining. And the people that take your order are very quick and they make the whole process a lot easier. To wrap up my review, I most definitely recommend this place ! Their drinks are VERY good, they have a wide variety. And if you want to go chill, there is seating outside and they call you to get your drinks through a little window. Highly recommend this location and Tastea overall!

This spot is my go to location. Especially because the Tesla chargers are in the same shopping center so we always get a quick bite while we're charging. We normally get the large to share and the serving size is well worth it, but since this time it was just for myself I ordered the regular size. Is this a normal serving amount of chicken?? For $9 I didn't feel it was worth it.

This is usually my go-to Tastea, but the fries had a strong spicy chicken aftertaste and were hard to eat. The staff said remaking them wouldn't help because of shared oil, which was disappointing. I ended up tossing more than half. Everything else was good, but this was not a great experience. Hope they can fix that issue .

Tea-tastic! My drink was delicious! It was so refreshing. I usually go for cold teas, but saw that they offered a hot honeydew milk tea. I figured why not give it a try? And I was not disappointed! It was sooooo good! I loved the flavor and warm was the ticket! During our most recent visit, their drinks were delicious as usual. Some of the food, however, got much worse. * Calamari 0/5 - Fried squid was a new item at Tastea. I was excited to try this. However, it tasted undercooked and smelled intensely fishy. This can indicate that the squid is no longer fresh or have gone bad. I ate one piece and had to throw the rest away. * Shrimp 2/5 - What did they do with the wonderful shrimp they used to have? I used to love these more than the popcorn chicken due to the light batter and tasty flavor. But they're now heavily breaded and deep fried. I want the old Tastea shrimps back, not the new KFC shrimps. *Peach Me Sweetea 5/5 - Still a favorite of mine. Glad no changes were made here. Their drinks are very sweet, so I tend to get light sweetness instead of full sweetness.

Ordered the original funnel stix w/ no condensed milk and expected a sweet snack. Unfortunately I literally got one that tasted like medium spiced onion fries. Having chocolate + onion flavor was a mixture I wish on nobody lol. My order was also incorrect since I received the oreo version w/ condensed milk too. I think it would've tasted decent, but all I can taste is oil, onion, and chocolate. I hope you change the process or put in a different/clean bowl after frying it. I don't think I can ever order it again without thinking about this taste.

I get tasteas pretty frequently for my entire family. Over the years I've found that there quality form location to location is incredibly inconsistent for example the milk teas at the FV location is a not as good as at the original location. Another point is price. There are so many boba spots in the area and tastes has become just like any other - more expensive if anything. The portion for the large drink or karate chicken is fair but the prices completely reflect that. Tasteas has become pretty expensive and it's often a hit or miss - i'd stick with the fruit teas is anything. The service at this location is worse then the others as well - management seems to have a problem with employees using their cards and frankly there service is slower and less friendly then the others in the area.

Super small pieces. Most of the pieces don't even have chicken inside. It's breading scraps. Hollow and oily inside

How disappointing.. my chicken order at the other Tastea locations are always really big juicy pieces, but here, my large karate chicken order is filled with nearly half of small oily crispy pieces. The cooks should discard these pieces at the end of the frying basket and add real actually chicken chunks to my order. It's not acceptable to serve such a large amount of these oily bits/scraps. This isn't what I wanted to pay $12 for! It made my stomach hurt. I ate some of it. I probably won't come back to this location for the chicken. Very disappointed for just fried breading. Also, I do not know if that is a spider or bug I found in my basil. Perhaps they need to wash the basil leaves better. I lost my appetite I would have liked a refund or even for them to remake my order, but it's too bad I left without knowing. I took my order home to eat only to discover this. I do love and enjoy Tastea drinks and karate chicken very much, so I'll have go to the other locations I normally frequent since they have not once disappointed me. I just stopped by here since I was close at the time.

I LOVE tastea the BEST boba shop. I have came to tastea a bunch of times near my area, but I have never came here yet. My boyfriend is literally obsessed with this place ever since I first took him to tastea and loved his first drink. Today, my boyfriend got the lychee freeze with boba & I got the strawberry ecstasy. My boyfriend loved lychee freeze it was refreshing, delicious, and great taste of lychee. The honey boba was smooth & chewy. He would give this drink a 5/5 since he would say this is the best drink he has ever had. I got strawberry ecstasy with lite sweet & this drink is very refreshing, delicious, and great taste of strawberry tea. The black jelly was delicious, smooth, and easy to chew. I would give this drink a 5/5 since I love these tea drinks. Their menu consists of specialteas, milk tea, coffee, smoothie, and slushy freeze. I would recommend on getting the specialteas and slushy since those are the BEST. Also, they have good eats as well and you can adjust the boba sweetness to your liking. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I would definitely come back here to get their boba or fruit teas.

This is a brand new location in a mega plex plaza so very convenient for all your shopping needs. I had the matcha coffee, and was offered to adjust the sweetness content. It was exceptional, Jennifer, a staff member, led us (as in us) through the menu as it was our first time at this establishment. It wasn't the first time we heard of Tastea however because we (us) learned of the beverages served here through other professional yelpers #getyouryelpon. Sorry my son got a hold of my phone when I set it down but I can't delete it as that would break the continuity of this post. I (me) ordered a Thai tea, was mid. The rest of us (excluding me) ordered different drinks, I kept the cups but couldn't tell what they got based off of the sips they had left, my guess was some type of smoothies? They had no issues or concerns raised over the drinks, not that they could voice any dissatisfaction... Overall very kind staff and good product 4/5 stars would go again with others. read more

One of the best tastea location I've been too. During this covid time, so glad this place just opened. Staffs are very compliant with drinks, food, hand and hygiene. Just what the neighborhood needed ! Finally a good tea spot in the area ! Bright, cheery, and new ! My favorite drink so far is the matcha latte with oat milk and non sweet. It's for the coffee lovers out there ! I've also enjoyed the crispy, spicy, chicken. Yum! I must commend them for their diligence when it comes to COVID safety for the patrons and staff. Barriers when ordering, masks, social distance line spacers, and clean space overall. It's hard to open during a pandemic but just like their motto, they're definitely Bloomin! read more

I'm so disappointed. I've been going to tastea forever and I was so happy when they opened one closer to my house. I ordered a large popcorn chicken today after work through the app. I picked it up and when I came home and opened the seal-proof bag, IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS HALF EATEN. It was a ridiculous amount. i feel like tastea has really improved their quality of drinks from my last visit way back in 2019... my newest obsession is currently the roasted oolong milk tea. i love how it isn't overly sweet prior to making any adjustments; the tea flavor is very strong even with the added creamer. their boba is a good texture and the perfect amount of sweetness. i am impressed. the only have two sizes, 20 oz and 32oz , and I feel like the 32oz would be a boba lovers heaven.. this location is relatively newer, but the staff seem very nice and I've never had too long of a wait time.. i should consider signing up for the rewards program, as i will be returning soon, and will probably go ahead and try the popcorn chicken. read more

Horrible experience. Won't be back and don't recommend. Very inexperienced cashier who did not seem trained properly and did not know how to ring up orders. Normally I am pretty patient with newer employees, but this one was really rude to top it off. The order itself was incredibly slooooooow. Not a smile nor a pleasantry from anyone. I'm so glad this place is finally open. I've seen the coming soon sign up forever and was so sad for them because of the pandemic and everything got slowed down. Anyway, being a tastea fan, I'm beyond happy since this one is close to me and the parking lot is great to enter and exit. (I'm not the best driver so i hate traveling around bolsa area). This location is perfect. I came on their first day and the drinks was a little sweet, i told the owners and they got on it and fixed it. Their love for their clients is what i appreciate. You know i dont care how good the food and drink taste, if the customer service isn't there, i won't be back. I can say now that they are 2 months in, drinks and good eats are on point! They deserve every chance possible, we all suffered a lot of hardship through 2020, we need to understand for businesses ( especially new ones) I'm not asking to put up with stuff if it doesn't taste good, I'm just saying.... when something disappoints you, let them know.... i promise you'll get treated great! Ohhhh, and cleanliness gets a 10++++ from me!!!! read more

Great service - appreciated that they told us upfront that they were "backed up" when we ordered so we anticipated a wait. But it didn't take that long at all. Our order was 6 food items and 9 drinks. The shrimp dish was awesome - hot, crispy, dipping sauce. Chicken and fries also good. I had their signature peach drink. Yum! There are two tables for outdoor seating. Masks and social distancing guidelines followed. Will definitely be back!! read more

I love this new location! The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing! Especially the house coffee, it's my favorite from any other place. The staff is super friendly and helpful if you're having a hard time choosing a drink (there's so many fun/yummy options) they'll throw out one good recommendations based on what you're looking for. I was and am so excited for this new location since it's walking distance from my home. Went in to order something and the cashier was nice. One thing that really bothered me is the lack of guest perception her 2 male coworkers have. They very louder made fun of her voice and saying how fake she sounded. Totally not ok to speak that way to her, even if they were joking, especially in front of costumers. While waiting, there was an issue with another costumer. After she left, again while costumers were in the building, all of them were talking about their own costumer behind her back clear as day for everyone to hear. I was very disappointed in their costumer service and can't believe they thought it was ok. Definitely need a little more training on how they need to present themselves. read more

We continue to push the envelope with new drinks and flavors -- constantly creating and searching for new ways to make people smile. But at the same time, we still serve the classics that so many of our customers love, from Thai iced tea to green milk to taro root tea and more. Of course, the center of the Tastea experience is our unique tea bar, where customers can hang out with friends and make some new ones, all while enjoying the most refreshing treat around. Established in 2000.

It was the dawn of a new millennium. The world was full of possibilities. And in this exciting new world, two young entrepreneurs had a dream. They dreamed of a world free from boring beverages. A world beyond generic juices and blended drinks. A world of new combinations, new flavors and new ideas to keep taste buds happy. And they dreamed of a fun place where people would gather and enjoy these innovative new drinks together.

Meet the Business Owner: Ted V.

Tastea has been spreading the fun since 2000 when two young entrepreneurs had an aspiration to bring new ideas and flavors to tea and ice blended drinks. Bored with current generic tea and juice bars with the same old flavors, we decided to embark on a new mission. Tastea will add a twist to our drinks by experimenting with new flavors and concepts, bringing a refreshing outlook to your taste buds. Unlike the competition, Tastea strives to keep it interesting by constantly adding new drinks and flavors to our menu. We stand apart from the rest because we focus on innovation, not rigid formulas and conformity. However, just because innovation is our middle name that doesn't mean we don't have the classics like thai iced tea, green milk tea, taro milk tea, etc. on our menu. We've simply put our creative juices to work to make everything even better.

The Matcha Latte uses ceremonial grade matcha sourced from Uji, Japan, blended with oat milk for a smooth, velvety texture. It has a balance of rich and earthy flavor with the subtle natural sweetness from the oat milk. Love how smooth this tastes. The Coconut Matcha has a natural sweetness from the pure coconut water and then earthy rich flavor from the matcha. The layering of this drinks is so pretty too! Definitely a thirst quenching drink. The Banana Vietnamese Coffee (Banana Coffee) features a dark-roasted brewed coffee layered over a rich, in-house banana mix. There's a nice contrast between the sweet, banana flavor with the bold, strong notes of the Vietnamese coffee base. Great spot to get good drinks and chat with friends. It makes for a refreshing drink on those hot summer days. Service moves along well. You order your drink and once you've received your drink, you pay at the cash and then you can head out with beverage. I love how content all the staff are and there's many of them to make sure you get your drink in a timely manner. It's a must visit if you're in garden grove and craving for Vietnamese coffee. This was probably a one off visit when we came due to my lack of knowledge. The next time I come, I definitely will make sure to ask if the coffee is regular coffee or Vietnamese coffee.

Like the other reviewer, angry at the TINY serving of popcorn chicken. It isnt cheap either. Try Y Tea Cafe or even Buddy at the outlet.. they have fair serving sizes. What an unethical business that rips people ofc. They lost me as a customer because of their cheapness and sure they'll lose others since there are many similar places to choose from. read more

Literally the slowest service ever. Don't come here and expect to get your drinks in anything less than 30 minutes. The staff (two guys) have no sense of urgency while customers are lined up around the shop. Go to a different location and save yourself some time :-) I wish I could undo my tip LOL read more
