Amazing ice cream, great service, and I can't complain about the ambience. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Fun fast food spot with lots of ice cream options. Loved the interiors with local student art. Salad and salmon burger are not bad

I'm having to edit my review, as Tastee Freez have gone downhill badly. Obviously they've never been awesome, but you could get decent food. It was always slow service though. But my most recent visit infuriated me to the point that i don't think I'll be going back. It was that one hot day we had (June 2023) and after a long hot day in the yard, i felt like a Bananas Foster was in order. Husband feels like having a Milkshake, so off we go. The line is busy, but not excessively - I've seen it this busy before, and so he puts in our order (8.10pm) i wait in the car. I can see all the other people getting their number called. I become impatient because people who ordered after us are coming out with takeout bags, but i just start messing round on my phone, and try to not think about it. Husband comes out after a period of time, holding nothing in his hands, asks me the time (he hadn't brought his phone) i tell him it's 9.18, which is when he tells me our order went in at 8.10. He goes to the counter, asks about it, and gets served in less than 10 minutes. A Bananas Foster and a Milkshake? Really? I'm raging about this length of time because following our visit, we'd planned to go along to the airport, and watch planes take off and land, and just enjoy the last of the evening with the top down on the car. However due to the excessively long wait, we had to go straight home, as he had to be up at 5am for work. What on earth is going on over there? Are tickets not dealt with in the order they were printed? Who's on the pass? Who's expediting the orders? This is ridiculous, and i won't be going back.

I ordered a large twist cone, came out really quickly, I was surprised how small a large twist cone can be. I mean, for five dollars expecting something a little bit bigger, actually quite a bit bigger than what this was. It tasted fine, but actually not worth the money

Get your shit together and and at least pretend to care. Attached is my large fries after waiting 28 minutes for my to-go order. Look, I know it's cool to be shitty when you're a teenager but the whole team just doesn't care.

    Coffee dipped cone... yuck.

Returned to Arctic Roadrunner and still impressed. The all American burgers are large and juicy. Full of taste. With an old fashioned taste of the 1960's. 4.5. My wife had an arctic cheese and a fish sandwich. She said that she liked them. The large French fries had good taste but I would have liked a larger-large order. 4.0 Free refills were available on all soft drinks. There were twelve different soft drinks to choose including Coke and Dr. Pepper. A short line to order and the order was filled quickly. Men's room was recently cleaned. Wife also appreciated a clean ladies room. We dined in a booth with a window that overlooked a swiftly flowing stream that was about fifty feet away down about a twenty foot hill. The cashier always smiled and seemed very happy to see us. There were no TV's and no music was playing. I was able to talk with my wife and have no distractions. That is good. Glad that I dined there, with my wife, for lunch today.

After perusing the few tables that had people eating burgers, decided to go with the wrap option, not wanting a loaf of bread surrounding my burger! Got the keto wrap, it had bacon and an egg, they must be pushing it or it's new, since it was cheaper than the wrap without all the extra protein. Either that or common sense took a vacation from the cold in Anchorage. Cashier was very helpful despite my clown like behavior. KETO Burger!!! Very pleasing to the eye, wrapped in a generous amount of crunchy iceberg, boom, could have used more sauce, but I'm a sauce kind of clown, plenty to get from the condiment bar. Nice crunchy bacon, boom, she said mustard was absent had to get my own. Over all not bad, certainly not the best in Anchorage like a previous reviewer, that was obviously may or may not be connected to the restaurant .... Hmm what am I some kind of a clown? A few tips to improve the burger, add on the tomato pickles and onions. Also burn a brand into the lettuce like the buns, would be way cool. And don't be afraid to sauce it up, some of us Keto types need a lot of taste to combat the boring taste of iceberg. Take heed, the clown has spoken,

It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."
