Located at the Krates, this small ramen shop provides a handful selection of menu options to enjoy. Food- The ramen usually comes out with a lot of broth, very savory. My ramen came with chicken, which was cooked perfectly. It was able to marinate along the broth. My egg was very well marinated, I was able to savor the tenderness. It was well presented with a wooden ladle! Service- They usually take my order and they don't really interact with the customer after transaction. Ambiance- It is what you expect out of a small ramen shop. There are cute decorations but it is very small and the music is ok. It is usually empty, I always end up just taking my food outside to enjoy the scenery at the Krates!

This is my first time at tasty Ramen. Here for a concert at the Krates. I will definitely have to add this to my regular rotation. They have very large portions and great customer service. It is a very laid-back but efficient place with tasty food.

First time coming! You want in and the vibes are so comfy. All the other shops at the Krate area are like small and more of a "get your food and eat outside". Here it was a nice inside seating area. We got the seafood ramen and my sister got chicken. To start, me and my mom aren't mussel lovers when it comes to seafood BUT these mussel's weren't rubbery at all like they usually are. The broth was so good, loved hot you could choose pork or vegetable broth. We got vegetable of course. The shrimp was cooked great and the noodle were nice. Last, the service was great of course. Tasty Ramen is a place to come back to for sure!

You may already know about this spot, hidden in the sea of shipping container food spots in Wesley Chapel. So, I just had to drive all the way up from St Pete to give them a try. How do you know your favorite ramen spot, if you haven't tried them all? I was bummed that they didn't have their beef noodles on the day that I stopped by. However, I did try their most popular, which is their Tonkotsu Ramen. This dish was loaded with pork. The broth did not disappoint and the noodles weren't overcooked. I ate the whole thing! The pork has more of a five spice taste, than the typical charsu pork topping. Corn was also a nice touch. All perfect for a cozy bowl of noodles on cold or rainy days. Fast casual service. Thankfully, ramen was served in a real bowl and not a to-go container.

Brought my daughter in for some ramen on a hot day. The AC was freezing cold, the service was fast and the portions are huge. I highly recommend Tasty Ramen.

I ordered the tonkotsu shoyu ramen for takeout. I like to support local restaurants, and I appreciated the portion size and the generous amount of vegetables. However, the roasted pork was not as soft as I expected, and while the broth was tasty at first, after 4-5 spoonfuls it became too salty for me. The boiled egg was also extremely salty. If you enjoy very salty ramen, you will love this dish, but if you prefer a lighter level of salt, you may want to reconsider ordering this bowl.

Not a place I will visit again for a good quality ramen. The place is nice and clean, but the food is just not the best. I saw a small piece of the condiment wrapper in the soup. So that tells me the broth is prepackaged, something you can easily get from the grocery store. The overall presentation was good, had generous amount of meat, the ramen was also good with right amount of tenderness, but the broth was just too salty in general.

Nah, this isn't it. This ramen tasted like cup of noodles / top ramen (orange) packet. Disappointing that all the ramen except for the vegetable were pork broth. The vegetarian ramen broth was extremely salty. Couldn't finish it, tossed it.

I had been wanting to try this place for days, and what better time than a Saturday night with cold weather to enjoy some ramen? My friends had recommended it to me a while ago, mentioning that the place didn't smell great inside but that their experience wasn't bad. I decided to give it a chance and went. Upon entering, there was no bad smell; everything was organized and clean. The cashier was very attentive to our order and served us kindly. We sat at a table to wait, and in less than 10 minutes, our food was ready, which I consider a big plus. We ordered a Tonkotsu Miso Ramen that comes with pork belly, seasoned egg, cabbage, and mushrooms. It had an excellent flavor; the egg added a delightful touch, and the pork belly was tender and juicy. We also ordered a side of crab rangoon, and they instantly became our favorite; they were fresh and generously filled. I can't wait to come back and try the seafood ramen! :)

The food is so flavorful and satisfying with an abundance of food. Every time I eat here I have so much food that I can save some for later. The flavors are infused through from the broth to the soft tender meat and noodles. The veggies are bright, crisp and fresh. To top it all off is a perfectly soft boiled egg that has absorbed the flavor bath that it sits on. The staff is pleasant and service is always speedy. The ambiance is simple and elegant. A MUST TRY IF VISITING THE KRATE!!!

Little bit on the pricier side but what really isn't at the Krate? My only slight gripe is they charge while $2 extra for their delicious eggs, but it is so worth it because they are special. Lightly soaked in soy sauce and gooey inside. The seafood ramen is obviously pricey but they literally give you like 2 pounds of shrimp! I would advise them to make the broth slightly spicier if they are going to advertise it as 'spicy' seafood ramen. The Shoyu ramen with pork is perfection! No further comment.

This was my first time trying ramen I liked it, the bowl was really big and tasty, the service was fast, around 10/15 minutes. The restaurant is small but cozy.

So glad to find a yummy vegetarian option at the KRATE! Tasty ramen had a great vegetarian ramen! Added sriracha and this hit the spot after drinking/ walking around the place! Service is fast and efficient, just ordered and paid at the counter and then food is brought out to you. Nice, cute and clean would definitely go back!

Let's start with the ambiance. I have been at this location when it was previously another restaurant and the upgrades done are exceptional. Kanji is a perfect date ambiance. (bring a jacket though, it can get chilly). As far as service, I've never had bad service here, and the recommendations are truly to leave you satisfied, not just to pad the bill. THE FOOD. The spicy Tonkatsu, fried oysters, gyosa, fried rice...heck almost anything on the menu as been amazing and the Sushi isn't stingy. You might pay a little more but you get a lot more. Full bar selection and good bartenders are just the plus. Clean bathrooms, clean restaurant, great food, great service. Highly recommend.

I decided to go with 2 rolls for lunch; a basic yellowtail roll, and a spider roll, which comes with fried softshell crab. While I was waiting, the sushi chef provided me with a specialty piece of yellowtail that was amazing! My rolls came out quickly, and they were absolutely perfect. While less pieces than I'm used to, the yellowtail roll was packed with fish. And the soft shell crab was perfectly cooked, plus I love that they provided the deep fried legs, too. Everything I received was beautifully plated on slate dishes, which is always a nice touch. Yes, I do think its more expensive than other sushi places ($4 for a soda, come on?!) but it was really excellent sushi. If I'm ever in the area again (which, honestly, I hope not to be), I would definitely return.

The Ramen is okay, but it just doesn't hit like before. The restaurant was a laid back vide with Japanese inspired themes and music in the background. Our server points us to our table and hands us menus to start. We always start out with an edamame appetizer and then go ahead and order the ramen. My partner got the spicy tonkatsu and I had wanted to do the "make your own ramen" option. I really wanted wagyu but didn't like the toppings it came with. So I just made my own, though it was very costly to add more toppings, so I just chose 2. Overall, the experience was okay. It's not the worse ramen place I've been to but I'll probably only swing my when it's out of convenience

We frequent this restaurant often, I've noticed a high turnover in servers and initially assumed the slow service was due to that. However, during a non-busy lunchtime , with only about five other tables, it took 30 minutes to receive a hibachi chicken plate and a kids' meal. My daughter was not very happy needless to say . That wait time felt excessive and made me question what's happening in the kitchen. I understand it's the holiday season and that waiting is sometimes expected, but a long delay for a 15 table restaurant is disappointing. The server mentioned that 30 minutes is normal for a hibachi chicken plate, which seems a bit long to me. I usually gravitate toward Asian restaurants because service tends to be quicker, so this experience was surprising. For now, I may stick to my usual Vietnamese and Korean go-to spots, but I truly hope this improves because I want to continue supporting this local business. Additionally, the fried banana side that comes with the kids' meal has been consistently inedible. Ten times out of ten, it's extremely greasy, more like biting into a hot grease ball than bananas. It doesn't feel very healthy or even safe for children.
