She got all our orders in and made sure we were good many times throughout the meal. We got half pink piggy and half bee knees pizza and a BYO. The pink piggy is slightly salty from the meats but then has a slightly rosemary sweetness from the butter. The bees knees is a lot more sweet because of the honey on the pizza. Both were very good and perfect to get half half. BYO I made with prosciutto, mushroom, goat cheese, balsamic figs, arugula. I thought the figs would be sweeter but it wasn't that sweet. The pizza had a nice saltiness from the prosciutto and goat cheese, with tiny sweetness from the figs and a fresh slightly lemony taste from the arugula. I liked this alot but next time might ask to add some honey or that rosemary butter from one of the other pizzas to make it slightly sweet. The pizzas were thin crust pizzas which I thought at first were going to be more bready. But it ended up being perfectly crispy, never got soggy, and has to be one of the best thin crust pizzas I have had around this area in a while! Overall wonderful experience. We were greeted quickly and seated right away. We were a party of 8 without a reservation, so we were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 kids and 3 adults in our group and the waitress did a wonderful job with our order and making sure we had everything we needed. The quality of the pizza was wonderful. The crust was perfectly thin and still had a crunch. We also ordered the pretzel for the table and the kids loved it. They said it tasted like garlic bread and wasn't too dense. I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago on a Friday night around 7pm. I didn't know what to expect but was in the mood for Italian food more so than pizza. I saw that this restaurant had a lasagna dish and thought "why not?" I sat at the bar and the bar staff were both really friendly and helpful. the young lady assisting me made me one of the THEE BEST Manhattan cocktails I have ever had anywhere! I asked for the meatball appetizer, and asked about the lasagna. The second bartender stopped me and said that while it's not bad, the taste of it with the brisket is not like traditional lasagna and that his preference is the traditional variety. I appreciated his honesty and took his advice. I mentioned that I hadn't been there before and decided to go with the Supreme pizza. Again, he intercepted, and recommended the Pink Piggy or the Bee's Knees, and suggested that I could do half and half on pizza flavors. I wasn't unsure about the Supreme pizza at all, however, he was very convincing and none of this was what I came there for so I said, "when in Rome", and went with half Supreme/half Pink Piggy. Let me tell you... that Pink Piggy was EXCELLENT! I found myself devouring that side of the pizza. It put my old standby Supreme to shame. The next time I come, I'll be getting a full Pink Piggy! I really appreciate the recommendation as I hadn't even looked at that option. Also, the meatballs were really good. There was live music from a solo artist playing guitar singing acoustic 80s R&B classics from Michael Jackson to Hall & Oates. I was very entertained as the set list was unexpected. I have been going to this restaurant and it has consistently good. However lately they seem to be slipping. We recently visited and when we ordered a pizza we had been ordering for ten years. Somehow they had changed the recipe and it did not resemble the pizza as described in the menu description or the pizza we had been eating for the last ten years. It did not only look foreign but it tasted terrible. When we called the manager over she seemed to have no clue that there pizza had changed and did not even match the menu description. We went all out and hit the menu hard and then rolled ourselves out the door after. You could also call it FOMO ordering since it all looks so good! We tried the Meatballs and cheese bread to start. The meatballs were perfect and nice and seasoned with a fantastic sauce. The cheese bread is cheesy and buttery all at the same time and not shy with the cheese. We went with the Local Goat and Fig pizza because we'll FIGURE is awesome and then you throw it on a pizza. It was a win. The chicken pasta was very good as well. The bread pudding was a little boring but still not bad. Don't worry the entire bread pudding was eaten. Dessert should never go to waste!
