look at all the boba... soooo good
    Delfin T.

I've been a loyal customer of this place. Quality of boba is always great... soft on the outside with a chewy sweet center. And look at all the boba they put on my drink

My boyfriend and I were in the Monterey Park area and decided to get some boba on our way back home. This spot came up and we decided to give it a try. I had the Lychee Peach drink and my boyfriend had the honey lemon tea with boba. They were both delicious and served in a super cute cup. ( See Photo) The inside is quite small but, it's a great place to pick up some boba. Didn't have much of a wait which was nice. I would definitely be curious to try some of their other drinks.

my girlfriend and I wanted Boba while we were visiting in Southern California and came across tea brick. The service was also good since we ordered on a kiosk. The ambience was a sit down café to enjoy the snacks and Boba of tea brick

We love this place and it's our go to for boba and espresso for the cute Corgi bottles. Service is fast and the boba is always flavorful and fresh. Good stuff! :)

First time ! 5/5 Cups 5/5 Taste 5/5, very bold flavor Pride 5/5 for the cups you can more than reuse And it's designed n cute Great job!! We tried milk tea boba, super bold flavors from the black tea, almost a little too strong. As I'm typing this almost 11pm, fully awake from this tea. The milk balances it well. Sweetness just right. Boba chew level is perfect. Deserve every penny they charge

Did not get a greeting but I did hear them busy at work with other orders. There is a kiosk to order anyway sooo not a huge deal. I LOVE THE PLAYLIST, so fun! The Oolong Milk Tea was delicious and so was the taste of the Blueberry Madness Tea I stole from my boyfriend. Highly recommend this spot

Been wanting to try this tea shop and it did not disappointment! The fruit teas and milk teas were both great! You can taste both the tea and fruit in the tea, neither one over powering the other it was rich in flavor. We ordered the Christine, Brown Sugar tea, Strawberry Snow milk, and taro. Teda had such great customer service. She really took the time to make us great recommendations and was very friendly. All customers who came were also friendly! A friendly environmental also draws in friendly people. We ordered near closing so really didn't stay very long. Can't wait to come back!

How is this business handling the re-opening? What safety measures are they taking? Are they…

Our Staff are all wearing masks. It's optional for our customers. The tables and chairs are sanitized between use. Currently only indoor dine-in and take-out. However we do follow the LA County Health Department mandate as it changes. No…

Is the fivestar rewards going to come back? I had a reward I wanted to use but it seems like the machine is off

Yeah I believe so. I was there today to order and I asked if they still had it. They asked for my phone number and it still is there so I think you just have to prompt them to do it. Like you can't type in your number like normal probably cuz covid…

Do the fruit smoothies have added sugar?

Yes, but they give you the option of choosing the level of sweetness. They give you that option for all their drinks.

What's in a mojito and snow bomb?

both are soda based, mojito has lime juice and mint leaves. soda bomb has ice cream

Are the plastic cups here BPA free? Also, is there a discount if I bring back the cup to reuse?

Don't think they are BPA free. Not sure if there's a discount for reusing the cup.

Do they accept reusable boba cups?

No. During covid, they said they will not let you bring your own cup nor their reusable plastic bottles.

    Any Keto drinks available?

They don't specifically have "keto" drinks, but I am sure you can ask them to make/customize a drink on their current menu for you that is keto-friendly (depending on what you want and don't want in it).

For first timers, they have a signature section which I think is basically their most popular drinks, they're all recommended to try. My wife and I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brulee and the Uji Matcha Latte to share, both came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes or so. I'm a huge sucker for oreo matcha brulee type drinks and this place made it perfectly. Each sip is full of the ingredients, very refreshing, and perfect sweetness in my opinion with 30% - 60% sugar level. Overall, great tea shop, it's pretty ironic to find a place that's just called "The Tea" which can be hard to search up, but their drinks are high quality, staff is quick, and their shop is clean. Varieties that Imen (the big boss at Tea Habitat) has personally procured directly, live, from the source throughout mainland China. She basically found the best stuff on her tasting ventures, making it a pretty exclusive menu of teas that you're highly unlikely going to find anywhere else in southern California, or perhaps all of California and the entire nation. You need this. You want this. You want to have it so bad, you want to relive the lingering euphoria of getting tea drunk - green tea, white tea, oolong... from royal grade to high mountain grade, harvested from centuries old trees. If some the tea names sound a bit nasty or unappetizing, it's to deter people from stealing it; hence, you may actually pleasantly surprised by its fragrance and quality. Super suggest setting an appointment for tasting, where the choice is pretty open from the list. The more expensive grade stuff though, will cost extra for a premium tasting set. And you'll be able to taste first hand, side-by-side, why certain dishware, especially the gold-lined cups, have an impact on how much flavor carries through. Quite profound. You can easily spend around 2 hours maximizing the steep of each set of tea leaves, while chatting it up with your bestest best mates. -Logistical notes: The location isn't that apparent, from the sidewalk, walk directly south towards the residential building, past the initial businesses on the side. I was staring at it up close since it looked so different so they asked if something was wrong. I thought maybe it was because it was the last of the previous batch that it looked so soft and mishapen. Since July 4th they've been switching to mochi honey boba instead because of popularity/increased demand. They said it was a real hit on July 4th weekend. The mochi boba had a lovely texture and flavor but definitely could have used more haha. They had to boil a whole new batch. Agar boba was fine but I was super disappointed that I didn't get boba because that's what I actually wanted. The shop was quiet with nobody else inside besides my cousin and kid and I. The gyokuro was pretty bitter (as if it was steeped too long. Maybe it was just matcha and bitter? But I thought gyokuro was just tea leaves?) and not sweet at all. I couldn't finish it because of how bitter it was. I kept it in the fridge and drank it next day and it mellowed out significantly. The mango slush was honey boba was pretty good.
