The drinks were also strangely too cold, even for iced. They make their jelly in-house, which we were excited about since jelly toppings are big in the 626, but theirs was plain and forgettable. The shop is inside 99 Ranch, and the seating area felt dingy, with dirty, grimy tables. Staff were friendly and polite, and that's the main reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The only upside was the friendly service, but overall, with so many better boba options in the area, we wouldn't come back.

There's a self-order kiosk and since no one else was in line I was able to browse through it on my own time. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Tea ($5.05) with Osmanthus Oolong Tea Jelly ($1). I was the only one there so took maybe only about 2 minutes to come out. Both the tea and the jelly had a very strong tea flavor, which is what I prefer, which is why I usually reduce the amount of sweetness in all my drinks. It's definitely different with the jelly instead of the boba I usually get, but it's a nice change. Contact was very minimal since you order at the kiosk first and the only human interaction is when they bring out your order to you. I think for the size that you get it was pretty pricy, but it's definitely slightly different from your typical boba shop. If I happen to be at this same 99 Ranch again I'd stop by for a treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I…read morepersonally don't care for the rice so I wanted to try their other osmanthus drink because it's one of my favorite milk teas. I didn't like it because it's overly floral and it has the rice. Maybe I misread about the rice? But even so, the drink doesn't taste like a cloud latte. I got 50% sweetness and it tastes more like 75%. I think it's because the fermented rice is already sweetened. Service was good, I ordered ahead and picked up with no issues. The inside has some seating if you want to enjoy your drink inside. Outside, there are also some tables and benches if you prefer. Overall, the drink prices are pretty standard in today's market I'd say. The other drinks I've tried before include the osmanthus rice drink, black sesame slushy, mango pomelo, and the taro milk. Of the ones I have tried, maybe only the mango pomelo one is good. The rest are just okay. Unsure if I'd come back because there are other mango pomelo drinks out there that are better.

The team members are all really nice And once everything is made, they will call you. That's when you can pick up your drink. This probably wouldn't be my go to all the time just because it's more pricey, but if I'm looking for a treat, then I would definitely come here. The girl at the counter was friendly when she took my order. They were busy so drinks took 15 or 20 minutes to be ready. They put the drink in a cute little sleeve with a strap so its easier to hold. The osmanthus flavor was fragrant and nicely went with the oolong so it wasn't bitter. The cream on top was a bit average and didn't taste that good with the osmanthus oolong since it covered the osmanthus taste a bit. The cream is like coffee cream and not like the sea salt cream I kind of expected, which was my fault. However, the tea quality was good and authentic. Next time I will not be getting the cream with my tea so I can fully enjoy the tea.

Whatever air freshener Heytea uses, I want it. The shop is not too big, and there are two kiosks you can order from towards the left hand side of the store. You may also order with the cashier at the register if you prefer. My favorite thing about Heytea is that they have a zero calorie sweetener option. I always order it with my Grapefruit Mango Boom. The tartness of the mango and grapefruit is perfectly balanced with the coconut jelly and milk. Mix it all together and voila!!---a creamy fruity party in your mouth. I have also tried their Milk Tea with boba. The tea flavor is pleasant with a very creamy base. The boba however was disappointing. It was very overcooked and lacked chewiness. Parking can be a hit or miss since it is located in the Atlantic Times Square plaza. If you're lucky you might be able to find parking in front of the store. I got a Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Milk tea wasn't too sweet and pretty light. I enjoyed it but wished there was a stronger tea flavor. As for the Mango Grapefruit Boom, it was actually pretty decent but the grapefruit topping was super bitter. I usually enjoy ordering this combo at other shops because it's a nice balance. But unfortunately, maybe today had a bad fruit, but it was extremely bitter. Will probably come back another time to give it another chance.
