But for some reason, the staff here decided to not call out any numbers until all three separate orders were finished. Parking; The first time I went to try Tea Brick, I put the location on my GPS and started driving. I arrived and turned into this very small parking lot that I could have easily missed and when I finally found parking (bc the lot is pretty small and usually packed) I was not completely sure where Tea Brick was exactly located at since there are other stores in the same plaza. The employees were talking in very high voices with other groups of people whom i'm guessing are their friends. Which I do not mind but I wish they would try to keep it down a little. This boba spot has nice decorations and the bottle the milk tea comes in makes the drinking experience different from other places. The tea itself is quali-TEA and tastes very good. I ordered a jasmine green milk tea and my mom guava lava. I added the honey boba to my drink and the texture of the boba was great. Inside the guava lava included real lychee bits and passion fruit seeds that complimented the drink quite well. The bottle: I think the bottle really set this boba spot apart from others. Drinking out of a "quality" plastic bottle that can be saved as a souvenir makes the tea taste even better. A complaint I have is that the seal underneath the cap was not sealed properly for my drink. I asked for a reseal and it made not difference. When I tried to poke my drink the entire seal collapsed into the drink. While my moms seal worked perfectly. Made me kinda salt-TEA All in all, I would definitely return because the tea is very taste-TEA and it was a TEA-riffic experience! I heard about this spot from a bunch of friends so I decided to try while waiting for a friend. Parking seems like it can be a huge issue but I got really lucky coming in and found a spot immediately! When leaving, I almost caused an accident w 2 cars trying to fight for my spot :O Coming in it was pretty warm inside, and the layout of the place is interesting. When ordering, I guess there's only one size because I never saw any size containers only for my drink to come out in a cute plastic cup (w a screw lid). Their green milk tea was pretty standard for most boba spots but their chicken but pretty good, despite not being seasoned much! I do notice that they have a huge range of fruity tea drinks. Their milk tea variety is less but still good. Nothing too fancy in that end. They do have a seasalt foam that my friend got which she liked. The drink itself that i got ( green milk tea) wasn't AMAZING. But it was pretty good! I would come back to try their fruity teas. Overall, the tea house isn't that big and sometimes it does get busy so find a table will be hard. LOCATION The location is within a plaza along with KT Cafe and mama lu dumpling house. DRINKS The drinks are decent, though last time I can, I got a type of milk tea that was way too strong so I couldn't end it. This time I got the rose milk green tea and it's actually pretty good. My friend got grapefruit that tasted water down though. One special thing about the drink so the bottle it comes in. Its usable that comes with a hard cap. I'm so disappointed in this store. I come here often + love the Christine tea. Today I had a really bad experience with my friends. We were waiting for our food/drinks and decided to start eating our food in the corner of the store. We were literally the only customers in the store. Instead of the workers nicely asking us to step outside to eat, they yelled on the intercom at us. I have never experienced such bad treatment from a store before. I had no hard feelings prior to this and I even tipped the cashier who took my order, and now I feel like I never want to step into a tea brick again. No customer should ever be treated like this. they have perfectly cooked warm, chewy, and sweet honey boba! i'm quite picky about my boba and some places tend to not cook it and let the boba sit in the pot enough or add enough sweetness. other times you can tel the boba is old because of the unpleasant mushy texture on the outside and toughness on the inside. teabrick has got theirs just right even though I had come about 40 minutes before closing, the cashier girl was still polite and the boba was not old tasting which is typically expected later on towards the shop's closing time. as for the tea itself, I had the earl grey milk tea slush, no adjustments. BOMB. didn't taste like a powder creamer or artificial syrup or low quality tea. the earl grey flavor was strong and despite being an ice-blended slush, it didn't taste watered down at all up until i finished it, and I took a slow time savoring my drink as well, so that says something already! my boyfriend had the christine and you can specify green or black tea and adjust the sugar. he added honey boba but forgot to specify the tea so I think they just chose the black tea for him which was a little more bitter than we expected, but personally I think that strong tea is better than watered down tea with no flavor. it could be that the black tea tasted that much stronger because he did ask for half sweet. next time maybe we'll ask for a green tea base and take it the way it is. all in all, the menu is pretty diverse and they have some other desserts as well along with the adorable reusable cups with no added charge, so I am definitely looking forward to coming back! read more

There's usually a 5-10 wait for your drink but that's because it's always full. When I don't feel like a milk tea I go with "The Vanessa". For the past two trips to LA, we've always stopped by here to get their delicious drinks. It's a cute store with minimal seating and the 'top 10 drinks' chalkboard is super cool. When you don't know which drink to get, you can easily glance over at the top 10 list to help. The pricing isn't too bad considering you do get a nice plastic bottle along with your drink. The cups, from what I've seen, have different designs according to the season. You get a cool souvenir along with some rad drinks! Recently I got the winter-themed one and even my mom complimented the bottle's design, haha! The pearls are pretty good; they're soft and chewy. However, they need to be sweetened a bit more. But the texture of the pearls is perfect. The Hokkaido Milk Tea is my brother's favorite; it tastes like tofu and the texture is thicker than most milk teas. I personally don't like it because the taste is too heavy for me but it's my brother's go-to drink. The Lavender Milk Tea was BOMB! Although it didn't have a pure lavender taste, there was still a sweet floral taste to it. It made the milk tea taste very decadent and unique! I definitely recommend this drink to non-lavender lovers and lavender-lovers. I just had to try the Christine because I heard it was the most popular fruity drink; however, I didn't enjoy it. I see where the flavors were headed but the black tea did not complement the fruitiness well. I feel like the fruity teas would taste much much better with the green tea instead of the black tea. The black tea in the Christine made the drink taste like prune juice tea which was not tasty. I had to drink the tea just for the sole reason of not wasting it, not because of enjoyment. The workers are down-to-earth and friendly! Although I've never accurately measured out the amount of liquid you get in the bottle, I feel like they give you more than the traditional large-sized boba cups. For their fruity drinks, I really appreciate how they put in generous amounts of fruit inside! Final verdict: During my LA trips, I will be coming back here to try out more drink combos. I went on a Thursday afternoon a couple of weeks ago and when I got in, first thing I noticed was that the music was blaring. That was ok, music is important and is part of the ambiance. However, they were playing hard core rap where the lyrics contained expletives and the N word in every other sentence. It definitely wasn't the clean version. There were families with small children there. In addition, I get their whole "brick" concept but it doesn't seem inviting. It makes the space smaller, narrower and darker inside. The only counter they have is usually unmanned. Employees are always in the back and I had to wait to get an extra straw. I actually just reached around the counter to grab a straw because I had been waiting for a minute. They should have lots of straws stocked out by the counter, like any other boba places. Also, I like that they have user friendly online ordering system. However, I did encounter a few problems with my experience today. One of my drinks wasn't capped all the way and spilled a bit in my car which is annoying. Also, their boba tastes a bit hard. Lastly, I think they reused their cups from Halloween which is very disappointing. I wish I received one of the current cup styles. I'm not a huge fan of tea so in a Milk Tea ratio I prefer a little sweeter. It's cool it comes in a fancy bottle container, but other than that the tea was not that great.
