You can either order from the self-service kiosk tablet or from the cashier. We ordered a black milk tea and the pinky lychee drink. The black milk tea came out super sweet with no sugar adjustments. I will have to remember to adjust the sugar level for that next time. The boba is a good chewy texture though. I also ordered the pinky lychee drink without the cheese foam on top and included the crystal agar jelly boba. This drink had a good lychee flavor but tasted slightly syrupy. Went here on a Thursday night and my friend and I were the only ones there. There's barstools facing the window and a bench along the wall so plenty of seating, but the restroom was closed. Unfortunately, a lot of the drinks were out of stock so the menu was much more limited. My friend recommended I get the Very Citrus drink, and I thought it was great! The contrast of the slushy with the jelly made for a fun texture combination. The osmanthus jelly had a very unique flavor that I really liked. I got less sweet and it was perfect. My friend got their soy milk tea -- the soy cream was good but the tea had burnt rice (but not in the way that tea can be when it is over-brewed). The drinks came out relatively fast as well. Overall, I don't think I would try milk tea here but I would definitely get a fruit tea if I were back. read more

I get the large (less ice, recommended sweetness) - runs about $7 which seems like a lot but is pretty standard for a milk tea shop in the Bay Area/SF area. Love the drinks here and service is generally quick and easy. My all-time favorite has got to be the Super Fruit Tea as it is super refreshing and it's like getting a free fruit salad with your drink. Other loves are the Coco Mango and Red Bean Milkshake, but my default drink would probably be Oolong Milk Tea if I can't decide. The only downside is they tend to run out of boba toward the last hour before closing which is understandable but it kinda sucks when that's the case every time I go (maybe it's me). The crystal boba is my alternative in this case. Tried their taro balls and honestly not a fan because they are way too soft, almost mushy. A bit pricey, but it's also in line with other real fruit teas nowadays. Had to try their Cheese Dragonfruit since no other boba place offers it and it was definitely refreshing. If you're lactose like me and wanna save $1, get it without the cheese. Best way I can describe it is a cross between an Asian pear and golden kiwi. So kinda juicy, mildly sweet, with a mellow/soft tang to it. Dunno if it's worth $8, but dragonfruit itself is expensive so that's understandable and was nice to try once. I originally wanted to try their Pinky Lychee, which is dragonfruit + lychee, but it was sold out at 3pm so you might have to come earlier? I also tried their Super Fruit Fusion Tea w/ Four Seasons Oolong and that was very refreshing as well. Usually fruit tea blends at other places I've tried have a predominant passionfruit flavor, but here I was able to taste the other fruit flavors as well like orange and watermelon. Tea Hut is solid for boba drinks. My current favorite drink in terms of the drink itself (taste & aesthetics) is the Pink Lychee. However, I was shook when I saw the price came out to $7.75. Did I really splurge $8 for one cup of boba?? Yes I did. I could have bought a 3 tacos but I chose to spend it on boba instead. Surprisingly, this wasn't the most expensive item on the menu and the dragonfruit with cheese foam is almost $9. The other drinks on the menu are average ranging from $5-7. The Pink Lychee was very refreshing. I liked how the cheese foam/ crema was slightly salty but overall on the sweeter side compared to other places, which I enjoyed. I'm very picky when it comes to crema btw. I only like it if it's sweet. The lychee flavor was prominent and there were lychee bits in the drink. The crema and the lychee "smoothie" complimented each other very well, making it creamier. My go-to order is usually the Strawberry Energy or Mango Energy. I've also tried the seasonal fresh cherry tea which was interesting since I've never seen cherry tea anywhere else. It was overall pretty good and refreshing. So the verdict: was the Pink Lychee worth trying? Heck yeah. Would I get it once a week? Nah, I'd like to to but rip my wallet. Sometimes you find places as a side trip from your main mission. Needing to handle a DMV issue brought me to this plaza. While looking for a parking space, I noticed this shop at the back end of the center near the post office. After completing my task, I was thirsty and decided to take a look at the menu. Not noticing the tiny taped menu at the window, I went online and placed my order from my phone. I was able to go home, unload my car, and change before finishing the rest of my drink. Only two suggestions are a. display a larger menu at your window or inside near the cashier and b. make sure that online orders placed earlier than walk up orders are made. I noticed that three guys who were undecided about what to order got their drinks before I got mine; I placed my order about two minutes before seeing them.
