Debating if this boba shop is worth visiting? Debate no further, off you go to Lakeshore Plaza. Amazing boba shop in SF, and probably in my top 3 favorites in the city. Parking in in a plaza and the shop is pretty small, but still manages to have a few tables with some seating. You order at a kiosk and they are pretty quick with the service. Prices are fair and they don't skimp on anything. I ordered an Osmanthus and Four Seasons milk tea, with both at 75% sugar. This place might just be a place where you want recommended sugar, since their sweetness at 75% percent is a little less sweet than other places at 75%. Nevertheless, the tea taste is strong in both drinks and the boba pearls were soft, chewy, bouncy, with good flavor. You could really taste the tea flavors in the drinks, and the osmanthus flavor was especially fragrant! I can't wait to go back and am daydreaming about that drink as I'm writing this review.... I just wish they gave a little more since I found myself rationing how many pearls I could sip up halfway through my drink. My other order was a regular size and they somehow put more boba in there, so hopefully they are more proportionately consistent the next time I'm back.

Known for their real fruit with their tea drinks! Variety of fruits to choose from and are super fresh. Super clean space with a handful of seating. Service was quick too even with plenty of orders. Order a osmanthanus milk tea with taro balls and rice ($7.95), a black tea with grass jelly (6.25) , and emerald grape fruit tea with boba ($7.50). Emerald grape was refreshing. Mashed green grapes, no bitterness at all. Osmanthus was not too sweet and had great tea flavor, plenty of toppings in the drink as well. Definitely go for fruit tea drinks.

I was in the area and needed a boba fix for the drive back home and found Tea Hut in my Yelp app. It's a small store but in the short time that I was there, a steady stream of customers patronized the store. I felt like something different and the Hot Ginger Milk Tea sounded really good. If you like the strong taste of ginger, this drink is for you! Firstly, it was a pretty big drink. I'm not sure exactly, but it was at least 20 ounces. I got 50% sweetness and it was perfect for me. The cup was super insulated. In fact I was wondering whether it was really a hot drink but after taking a sip, I answered my question immediately. It definitely was a hot drink but not so much that you'd burn your mouth. There were mini taro balls at the bottom which really rounded out the drink. I'm glad that there are other Tea Huts in the Bay Area because I'm going to remember this drink and will head to one closer. Or maybe I'll try one of their other drinks! In any event, I'll be back.

Tea Hut is a local tea shop boasting all natural tea drinks with no added nonsense! They have a couple locations around the Bay Area, including this one conveniently located in Lakeshore Plaza that offers plenty of parking. Lakeshore Plaza is definitely my go-to spot when I have to get some errands done (like dropping off packages), and with Tea Hut so conveniently located it's the perfect stop for a pick-me-up! This location is right next to the USPS store in the plaza. You can order via their kiosk (if paying by card) or with a staff member (if paying by cash). The shop offers a couple seats if you're looking to sit down and enjoy your drink, otherwise most patrons just grab-and-go. Fruit teas are always my go-to, and Tea Hut's offerings never disappoint! My personal favorite is their orange green tea paired with lychee jelly. Their supreme fruit tea is a close second as I love how they mix it up with seasonal fruits, and you can even chose your tea base (between strawberry oolong, green tea, and seasons tea). I have yet to try any of their milk tea selections, but I'm sure if they're fruit teas are anything to go by then those drinks should be just as good. If you're looking for a nice local tea shop to support that offers high quality drinks, then Tea Hut is the one for you!

    Rice Mochi Taro Milk Tea

Nice boba shop and tasty drinks. Tapioca pearl texture was chewy and sweet and one of my favorites I've found in SF 5/5 Rice Mochi Taro Milk Tea was delicious. There seemed to be real taro paste at the bottom for the flavor. I added boba pearls and texture was great! 4/5 Strawberry Energy had some fruit and tea flavors. There were real strawberries blended up and ice but not quite smoothie texture. Didn't seem I could customize anything it was a bit too sweet for me A few seats on the inside. Drinks are on the higher end boba tier but quality was good

I have been waiting all year long for their persimmon orange tea! The moment persimmon season hits, this is the first thing I look forward to!! It's perfectly refreshing, sweet and so comforting at the same time. Every sip tastes like fall in a cup and it was absolutely worth the wait. Oh how I wish it was all year long

I love their watermelon juice here! The employees are so quick with making the drinks, even if it's only one person working. They have a kiosk where you can order from which makes it faster and you can look at all the drinks that you want to try. I ordered the watermelon freeze many times and it never fails me with the taste ! So refreshing and tasty!

Located in the Lakeshore Plaza where there is ample parking. You can order at the kiosk or counter and the drinks come out pretty quick. I got the Jasmine milk tea, half sweet, half ice and the flavor seemed just right, can taste the hint of jasmine tea and not overly sweet. My friend got the rice mochi taro milk tea and said it was more on the creamier side but liked it overall! Definitely a solid spot to satisfy your tea cravings.

Nice place cozy, pretty chill I never have problems here and the the staff is cool they get my orders right and friendly. I usually go for the watermelon or strawberry teas, quite sweet and tasty especially with a meal or just thirsty for a fresh drink. I do like the design of the cup it has a very secure lid, cup is not cheap and has a firm grip, the straw holder lid is pretty useful I like having the option to easily drink with/no straw. Definitely worth every penny, If they had an Extra large or Super size version of the cup I would buy it twice, one for a souvenir and a birthday gift. Dont bother buying the slushy or icy versions they all taste the same. One version has less ice that's really the big difference, still the same amount of flavor or 2 spoons of flavor,1 cup of sugar, not worth the extra time and money just add ice if you want it extra cold. The cup holders on the other hand is pretty soft and not very togo friendly unless you have a bag. I f you are buying 2 or more drinks make sure to ask for a bag and tray holder because it's super easy to drop the drinks cause the cup holder trays are softer than a piece of paper. I literally had to break out my medium size target red bag and put my noah's bagels next to the drinks. Luckily my Noah's bagels box was able to fill the space needed to keep the drinks from spilling, so guys don't forget to bring your uber bag or trader bag if your ordering 2 or more drinks. Overall a pretty decent Boba place, prices are fair, the tase is great though I still prefer Boba Guys Tea Hut is just as good and I do like the fancy cup they serve boba with and I yet to experience any negative service here. The only complaint I would say is make a XL Boba Cup or a Super Fan Souvenir Cup and don't be cheap on the cup holder Trays. We want to enjoy and have happy boba Moments and enjoy our hard earn money, let's keep our Boba inside our bellies not on the floor. Anyways try this place out and see if your Boba Buds are satisfied, just order online or on door dash they can be very busy in person and the online orders come out way faster than in person.

    Oolong Milk Tea
    Junsheng X.

Nice to find a non-overhyped brand that has good tea flavor in SF. Their sweetness level actually feels on-target, and I love the option of being able to choose coconut milk as a free milk option. Their prices are also pretty nice for the current market. Minus one star because I wasn't sure why I heard some staff shouting angrily when I was there. Not a great business look when that happens but otherwise a good place to visit.

    Erica K.

I am by no means a sweets person as I believe I've gotten through this stage, however was surprised to find this boba spot open during the holidays. I ordered the Mochi Oat Milk Tea with Grass Jelly, which was simple yet refreshing however wish they asked me for my sweet preference as I found this drink a bit too sweet for my liking. Looking forward to trying more drinks from their menu!

    Mitchell S.

The tea is actually really good. The service is fast and helpful when answering questions. For the boba lovers out there, the actual pearls are pretty mid. The drink are flavorful and the menu is expansive. Now the negatives. The parking here is a tragedy. Next, what in the world prices. Two drinks added up to damn near $23

What kind of tea does creamy watermelon are using? I am kind of caffeine sensitive, so just want to know if i can tolerate the tea.

We have a tea option for that drink. It’s either green tea or seasons tea(a type of oolong tea).

What's the four season milk tea?

It’s Four Seasons tea mix with fresh milk (whole milk or non dairy milk, your choice). Four Seasons tea is a type of oolong tea, usually it has a floral aftertaste.

Why are your prices 0.75-3.00 higher on UberEats even if I choose the pickup option?

Hi there! Because Uber eats charges 30% of the order value. If you’d like to order online, please visit order.teahut.us . The website offers the same price as order in store and you will see more options.

Their traditional tea drinks (Jasmine, Oolong, etc) are all safe orders, and all possess a strong tea flavor, similar the likes of Molly tea but not as floral, compared to most boba shops in the city. I've been here a couple times, and ordered their Jasmine and Oolong teas respectively. They were both excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed every sip. 75% sweetness is the way to go for those who order less sugar, but it can be lowered to 50% if you're more of a tea person. They also respect your ice level, which is always a plus. The boba pearls are bouncy, chewy, and flavorful, and I have yet to nom on one bad one. The quality is consistent, unlike some boba chains in the city. It seems other Yelpers have had mixed reviews with their other drinks, but judging by the name, you come here for milk teas. There are matcha places that specialize in matcha. Come in for milk teas, and leave with happy taste buds!

If you have questions about many items, there's no one to ask. If you need to make a change to a new item, you can't. Whatever is listed on the screen is what you see is what you get. We ordered Matcha and it definitely was better than other Matcha tea that I've had but it also wasn't spectacular. What I ordered again? From here, yes. The Matcha flavor was smooth, which is not always something that other tea houses managed to do We ordered the egg puffs: one in double chocolate, and the other one in Oreo. The Oreo is definitely a hard pass. The filling was pretty nonexistent, and what was there virtually did not taste like anything let alone Oreo. The double chocolate was a surprise hit. They definitely needed more filling, but they were better than the Oreo. Since these are handmade, it's totally controllable and it just tasted like little to no effort was put into them. The chocolate had the perfect amount of sweetness, and it went oddly well with the Matcha. There are a couple of barstools next to an extremely narrow little table that hadn't been cleaned. The space is not necessarily unusual for San Francisco, it's just not a comfortable space.

Given that, it doesn't escape me that it took just a matter of months for my next visit to happen again. No real rhyme or reason as to why it didn't take nearly as long this time, but I'd be lying if I said that the Ube Halo Halo we tried didn't have something to do with it. While it ultimately wasn't what we ordered, the memory of what we had definitely got us excited to try more when my friends suggested coming here! Compared to the location over on Geary (and the one in Westminster, for what it's worth), this Bambu is better in just about every way. Sure, it helps that it's still relatively new (they opened about eight months ago?), but it's undoubtedly cleaner, feels a whole lot brighter, is a bit more conveniently located, and, most significantly, has way more parking available nearby. As for the menu, it had pretty much all of the usual offerings that you'd expect to find at any of their locations - che desserts, milk tea, fruit teas, waffles, macarons, and Vietnamese coffee. -- MANGO HALO HALO - Green Jello Base with Coconut Meat, Coconut Milk, Red Tapioca, Jackfruit, Egg Pudding, Crystal Boba, Mango Jelly, Pandan Jelly, Nata de Coco, and Topped with Mango Ice Cream While it didn't impress quite like the Ube Halo Halo did, this was still really good. Between all of the mangos (vs ube) and jellies, this felt a lot fruitier and lighter. However, it also didn't feel quite as creamy as the Ube one did, which I kind of missed. -- VIETNAMESE EGG COFFEE Sadly, the coffee is a pre-made mix, so they weren't able to modify the sweetness, but I appreciate that they added plain coffee to help dilute it. Even then, though, this ended up being really sweet. Loved how creamy the egg foam made this, though. Despite how I genuinely like this particular Bambu, I don't know how often I would come back since I don't typically crave che desserts and other places usually come to mind first when I think of where to get milk tea. However, should the urge or occasion arise to go to a Bambu again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this one, especially so that I can give their Yoonami Drinks, Smoothies, and Ube Mochi Waffle a try!
