Finding parking was easy since it's in a big plaza and this place requires that you wear mask inside. There was a vast variety to choose from. Lots of options. They even had Crystal boba. And the lady who took the order was very polite and friendly. I tried the rose milk tea and asked for green tea base instead of black tea. For me it was a miss coz I felt it was a watered down drink as I could not taste a lot of tea. But I did order 50% sugar level so sometimes that tampers with the taste and their tea making levels. Had to use the restroom so all I can say is it was big and smelled really good. Been there a few times now, and I'm... addicted. Every slushie I had was amazing, the boba was always at the right temperature and the popcorn chicken... now that's next level stuff. The chicken is well-cooked, and they offer 3 different levels of spices: mild, medium and spicy. It's hard to go wrong with any level of spice. Their reward system is similar to other boba shops. Each drink is worth a point. 10 points earns you a free drink, and 15 points gets you popcorn chicken :) The only problem I've had with the shop is the lack of seats. Once, I ran into some friends and we wanted to catch up with some drinks and delicious popcorn chicken. One look around the place and it was pretty clear, there was nowhere to sit! A part of me wants to give this business a poor review so that it would be less crowded. However, I'll act against my desire in hopes that the business will to expand this store. I've tried MANY boba shops, my favorites being in LA, but living in the San Fernando Valley, Bounce Boba Lounge has been my go to for yearsss because I've never found another spot in the valley that I like as much, that is until I tried Tea n Tea! I ordered the fried squid, popcorn chicken and milk tea with boba. I like that the squid was the whole squid and they cut it into pieces for you. Even though it was a bit pricey but it's worth it if you like fried squid. Another thing I like about it is it only had light breading, so you can taste the squid and not be overpowered by the breading. The popcorn chicken had good flavors but it was a little dry. It may be one of the more expensive drinks (drinks are about $4-5 here), but it was refreshing, flavorful, and filling. As for their fairly-priced food, you can never go wrong with the POPCORN CHICKEN MEAL or just the meat itself. I came here with my nieces for a treat and they wanted to try Boba for the first time. We looked at all the flavors and they each got to choose their own. It was a fun experience for them to sit and look at all the yummy flavors. The cashier was very patient and kind with us and explained the different sizes and flavors and the difference between their drinks and their slushes. I visited with my kids less than 5 minutes ago. From the second we walked in the workers were sweet and gave me time to figure out what we were getting since it takes forever with kids. The woman helping us was so sweet and nice in helping when my kids wanted different things. They prepared all of our items within minutes of order and everything tastes AMAZING!!! Yay! I'm a fan. I searched for a place near my route earlier today and decided on Tea 'n Tea because according to yelp they have boba and food. I went in just 30 minutes before closing time (8pm) and saw that they were extremely busy with orders. Nonetheless, my entire visit took less than 15 minutes from the time I ordered my food to the time I left the restaurant. Now for my order, I went with their taro milk drink with boba (50% sweetened) and their pork chops with rice (they ask you for level of spicy and the plate also comes with broccoli). My grand total was $14.56 which I thought was not bad especially considering the portions. The food was so fresh and looked so delicious that I couldn't wait until I got home so I sampled it in my car :P and OMG was I blown away!!! The rice was cooked perfectly, the pork chops were seasoned to perfection and were so hot I almost burned my finger (okay note really but you get the point of how hot and fresh they were). The broccoli was salted and steamed to perfection. My rating for their service is 5 stars. In terms of their food (the pork chop plate to be exact) I give them 5+ stars. As far as their taro milk boba drink goes, it is more like 4 stars because I have had better. All in all, this place is still a great find!! Additionally, I would like to note how convenient it is that this is a one stop shop for boba drinks and food. So, while this will not be my first choice for boba, it will definitely be my choice for when I want both a snack and some decent boba. read more

Usually my go-to boba spot in Northridge is Bon Bon Tea House (unsurprisingly) but today we decided to go and try some place new. The cups in Tea 'N Tea are about the same size as Bon Bon (thankfully) and the setup has a nice aesthetic. The payment method is convenient enough (they accept American Express) and they do have a rewards program. Towards the left of the cafe is a station with a Nintendo and Super Smash Bros which was pretty fun to play while we were waiting. Aside from that, the tea and boba was good (I ordered Lychee black tea with boba) and I do admit that is was a bit sweet but it wasn't too noticeable. There's board games you can play, and even a T.V where you can play video games! Firstly, we were most impressed by the owner of the shop who was both friendly and knowledgeable about his menu. He seemed to care a great deal about what we chose and that we would enjoy our drinks. Prices are typical of most boba establishments, but the cups are massive. And they even offered a LARGER size. In the end, we got the jasmine green milk tea and the wintermelon snow bubble, as well as an order of popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken certainly smelled amazing thanks to the spices and crispy basil leaves. When fresh, it was delightfully crispy and juicy, but after a long car ride, the chicken did get stale. However, the flavor was spot on. The wintermelon snow bubble is similar to a smoothie, but has a creamier texture. While it did veer a bit towards the sweet side, it was the perfect drink to have on such a warm day. As for the jasmine milk tea, I appreciated the strong jasmine flavor, but the drink as a whole could have been creamier. Perhaps they were a bit underhanded with the milk? I've been coming here for years and the boba now barely covers the bottom of the cup in a single layer. Contrast this with Bounce a mile away, the bottom third of the cup is all boba. The tea itself is good here, just wish they weren't so stingy with boba in a drink that's called boba. By the way, it's been like this for the past year at least. I came in here after getting AYCE sushi at Aikan in the same plaza, I think the location is great for beign around a Mitsua and other Asian restaurants for their target demo. When looking at the menu it's extremely similar to Half and Half in 626 offerings, seems like they are trying to literally copy and paste. I love half and half and wanted to get one of my non-caffeinated go-to orders for a late night treat to do best comparison, which is the Ice Milk with Boba, Egg Pudding, and Caramel. The pricing is on par with what you get, the cup itself is the same size and shape as H&H, and the drink itself.. extremely similar. I definitely enjoyed it and they even matched the smaller boba size and chewy texture. The only things I would dock is I wish it didn't melt right away as much and was an actual icy texture as advertised rather than being more of a melted frozen milk. The other thing is it lacked caramel and could use way more of a generous portion of the drizzle around to really taste it. Otherwise, I would be back again if in the area! read more

The cashier warned me that it would take about 15 minutes to make the Vietnamese coffee, which I was fine with. However, I ended up waiting close to 30 minutes and saw them make a bunch of orders (even one order for ~6 drinks) before finally receiving mine. The drink itself tasted pretty good; it was sweet with a strong coffee flavor, which I liked. However, it didn't seem like a lot for the amount I paid, and the texture of the tapioca was off. Upon arrival at the location, Tea 'n Tea has the appearance of one of those stores that you drive by for years (but never have the desire to try) only to notice one day that they went out of business. I've learned over the years not to judge a book by its cover, especially when it comes to food establishments; sometimes the best food comes from the most unassuming places. Unfortunately this wasn't one of those cases, because the drink I tried from Tea 'n Tea was unremarkable at best. Their signature drinks menu items are given obscure names so I decided to get the Hong Kong style milk tea to be safe. It was your typical, everyday flavored brown milk tea. Maybe I should have expected it when choosing a basic drink, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. My girlfriend chose the brown sugar milk tea. This should have been another very basic drink but the result was... Bad. After she complained to me that it was sour, I took a sip and was met with what tasted like a burnt out joint. NO I do not believe there was any contamination but it genuinely did taste like that. I asked for it to be replaced with a spicy mango slushy on her behalf. Unlike the previous drink, this one was acceptable (but still nothing special). The staff were kind and I had no issues with them, so that earns them a star back.
