I've only tried the mango icy but it was good and perfect for the hot weather. Parking is a struggle though. When I'm in this area I will definitely going to try the rest they have to offer. The service was ok and the place is descent.

I have been coming here since this is the quickest Taiwanese food joint near my house so it's easy to order via grubhub or thru the app. I usually go in since it's a little cheaper and more option in the drinks. I usually order the Taiwanese sausage fried rice with chrysanthemum tea. It seems now the food is extra salty especially the veggies and the ground meat on the rice. I have to dilute it with the tea. Place is super clean and greeted with two kiosks to make food orders. Hopefully they can adjust the salt level in the food.

I ordered online this time, I notice they have a lack of menu items on the online order compared to ordering at the kiosk in person. Also, when ordering online, I would not trust the pickup time. I ordered at 11AM it told me order will be ready for pickup at 12:50PM. I still went to the store regardless of what it says and it was ready for pickup by 11:15AM. If I trusted the time they estimated, my food would've been cold. The cashier was super nice though. I never knew they have party trays! I would buy one soon for the upcoming party's! Please keep the price like that!

I always love coming to teaspots! The best place to grab a quick bit and sit down. It's very peaceful and the workers are so nice and friendly. The food is so amazing and the thai tea is the best ever!!

Needed a pick me up drink for the ride home aka sitting in traffic on the 210. I remembered this "tea spot" was here so decided to try a drink from here. Self service ordering is available so i can take my time to figure out what i want to order. There was a special for the red bean and milk drink and it was 50% off. I added the sea salt crème to top it off. This drink had lots of ice and red bean that it reminded me of the Filipino dessert halo halo except missing so many ingredients lol. Place is clean. Parking is tight in the lot. Really did not interact with staff besides the drink hand off at the counter. I may return if I'm able to find parking in the lot. I was lucky this time because it was Easter Sunday.

When I am in the mood for a honey green hot tea, or a decent bowl of soup, I go here. They have numerous boba, teas, soup, and chicken plates, etc., to select from. Great place to grab something fast. The only thing I do not like is the parking and the indoor seating. The parking is very difficult and sometimes you just leave because it's nowhere to park. The service is good. You have to order from a kiosk machine which is a little difficult if you do not know what you doing. Note: The place is trendy with very limited seating and difficult parking. Adjacent from PCC.

Definitely my favorite boba shop because of its prices and quality like it's so much better than Boba Time. We come here 2x/week and always get the icys and milk teas. I love their Thai tea snow soooo good my favorite. Parking can be a pain so we go during off hours. Don't like the automatic tip that's added to the kiosk too. Pro tip: happy hour pricing 4-7Pm!!

Great prices and tasty food. We had the pork belly which was very good and seasoned perfectly. Guests had the crispy chicken and rice with veggies which they loved.

Okay... I got the popcorn chicken with rice. It was too lean and dry for my liking. The waitress that brought out the food looked like she didn't want to be here. The restaurant was very clean, so that was a plus.

Is there chicken in Grilled Chicken Steak Salad? Or does the dish just taste like grilled chicken? So curious since I got a takeout order of it but only get a box of grass.

Do you have a receipt? Did you take a photo of your salad/grass? Did you call them on it or called them to see if you got the wrong order?

Will you ever have pistachio boba? havent found a place nearby that has this flavor

Not sure if Tea Spots has one but I strongly endorse their avocado smoothie with boba. You'll never go wrong! However, if you are really craving for pistachio boba the other place called It's Boba Time has this similar one but I would not recommend…

A Little Cheat Night Never Hurt Nobody!…read more After eating the juiciest chicken ever at Loli Farms, I've been eyeing this dessert spot for a while, and luckily it was only 1.6 miles away. So obviously... dessert was happening. Perfect excuse for a little cheat-night treat! Parking Hack: Don't pay $5 for parking! We parked about 7 minutes away in a parking structure for only $1 for 2 hours. After all the delicious food I inhaled, I definitely didn't mind getting a little extra cardio in. Pasadena parking is definitely doing the most, so parking structure it was! Mango Melon Shaved Ice -- $8.50 | 7.8/10 Mango-flavored shaved ice topped with melon balls and served with a side of milk drizzle. The shaved ice itself was SO soft and fluffy, and the milk drizzle gave it just the right amount of sweetness. The only thing was... I really couldn't taste much mango in the shaved ice. It was pretty subtle, so I wouldn't say this one completely blew me away, but it was still a refreshing treat on a hot summer night. Definitely not the best I've had, but certainly not the worst! Injeolmi Shaved Ice -- $7.50 | 7.7/10 Milk-flavored shaved ice topped with mochi, layers of Injeolmi powder, and more milk drizzle. This was actually our first time trying Injeolmi, so we were curious! The combination of the soft shaved ice, milk drizzle, and nutty Injeolmi powder was really good and made for a fun flavor combination. My only complaint? THE MOCHI. They were soooo tiny! I wanted that satisfying chewy squish, but these little guys basically tasted like mini boba that disappeared the second I bit into them. The shaved ice itself was perfectly soft and honestly the star of both desserts. Inside, there aren't a ton of tables, but luckily we snagged one right when we walked in. And let me tell you... this place had a constant flow of customers the entire hour we were there! People were coming in and out left and right, with only one ordering machine, so expect a little patience if it gets busy. Overall, both shaved ices were pretty decent and made for the perfect little "I already ate too much but I'm still getting dessert" moment. Definitely a nice way to break the diet after our chicken feast! Would I come back? Absolutely, especially to try some of their other shaved ice flavors. Happy desserts!

You will sweat nonstop even while eating your iced dessert. Don't want to sit in the heat while eating dessert and get a to-go order? They will NOT make your order correctly. Multiple times where I've ordered a dessert and added condense milk, they've forgotten it. No problem, I learned my lesson to check if it's on the side before I leave. This time I went I wanted to add sesame balls. I didn't check because why would I need to open the container and stir around to see if it's in there? I got home and there was no sesame balls or the other toppings I added. Each topping is $1-1.25 each. Sure that's not expensive by itself. But with each order it adds up. Hard to want to enjoy something from what use to be your favorite spot when they keep messing up and don't bother to care when you bring up a complaint to them. My suggestion is to go to another location or stop supporting this place altogether. The store owner is too cheap to get the amount of attention they do.

The hot and sour soup was thick and chunky, just how I like the soup. The scallion bread sandwich with 5-spice beef was distinct. The bread was perfectly baked and the beef was flavorful and juicy. There was both mustard greens and pickles that gave crunch and acidity to balance the meat and bread. The lotus root salad was refreshing while still having a kick from their in-house chili oil. I was surprised by the long line and waited about 15-20 minutes to order. I tried the minced pork over rice, a five-spice beef bun, beef fun to go, and a taro drink. I found a seat right away, and the food came out promptly. The rice was topped with delicious fresh pickles and a tasty egg. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the minced pork. The texture was mushy, and it seemed either overcooked or like it had been sitting under heat too long. It definitely didn't taste freshly cooked. It also had a bitter flavor that reminded me of five-spice powder that had been cooked too long. I ate about half because I was hungry but didn't take the rest home. The taro drink was just okay. It wasn't blended smoothly and had chunky pieces getting stuck in the straw. The good news is the beef bun was tasty after I warmed it up at home. In hindsight, I should have just gotten a few of those instead of the minced pork! I've eaten authentic Taiwanese food in Taiwan, so I do have a point of comparison. Unfortunately, based on what I tried, Joy was underwhelming overall.
