I love the rice balls they made since it would be my to-go snack for whenever I needed lunch after work. What kept me coming back was the menu since there's so much more I want to try. As a plus, the chef is a really cool person and he always remembers how I like my order. I may not go there regularly, but he still manages to remember. Interesting. When I tried this place for the first time, the burritos looked small and not filling but as I'm eating them I can see they put a lot of care and ingredients in them. Mygarden burrito had mangos,cucumbers,etc. Tasted fresh. Still kinda pricey in my opinion for what you are getting. But if you don't mind shelling out extra 2 dollars ..this is a great alternative to all the greasy fried food that is outside near main street. Will come again. They recently changed the menu. I ordered the new bento box and a hot Roselle tea. The bento box is $10.50 +tax and the Roselle tea is $3.75. The bento box came with 3 shumai, very small portion of avacado salad, and a salmon avacado mango spring roll. Besides saying the portion is small to begin with ( which don't even filling), I couldn't eat half of the stuffs in that box. First there's a hair in one of my shumai, so it already went to the trash. Then when I had my first bite on my avacado salad, I saw crushed peanuts in my salad! Which I CANNOT EAT! And everyone knows peanuts can be deadly to some people and they didn't mention it in the menu! The whatever roll is the only thing I can eat, which I felt like I didn't eat anything afterward. They charge you a Manhattan lunch price but they don't give you Manhattan level food. Oh! And The Roselle tea, taste like cough medicine. The tuna one was a little better but both burritos had too much rice and not enough fish. I sadly had to say "where's the fish?" After I ate half way down the roll. I used to visit Teaus all the time when it was a cute little place by Union and Main St. Now the commute to this current location is a little farther (past the post office). I ordered 3 sushi burritos (Volcano, Super salmon, and happy tuna), a sushi avocado roll, and rose milk tea. The burritos are on the smaller size - I was still hungry after and I usually get full quickly. Tastes good though! The rose milk tea was very nostalgic as that was what I used to get in the old location when they sold it in a glass bottle with actual rose petals inside. It's not served in a clear plastic cup with a lid. Not as pretty and no petals but still same amazing taste! This is a quick down & dirty counter place where you walk up and give your order and walk away with it after a couple of minutes. I got the Sushi Burrito and a Watermelon Juice. I have to say the burrito could have been a bit tastier but I added enough wasabi to make it good enough for me. Not too pricey and you can see them preparing the food. They are clean and very nice when you're ordering from them. Four of us got something here. Problem is not too many places to sit so make sure you have some place to eat it. This is in a hallway at a mall so if you're seeking ambience you are in the wrong place (you could say that about Flushing as a whole so why pick on this place for lacking ambience?). I give them points for the cleanliness, the price and the courtesy. They had no problem discussing the menu options and giving my kids details on the items so they could make a better choice. Everyone remember teaus, the cute little glass jars of tea? Well they are back with a new name and new additions to their business. Its now called Teaus Sushi Burrito located in Arcadia Mall. I was excited to see a sushi place open up near this area! I ordered the salmon sushi burrito. I expected good chunks of fresh salmon but was disappointed to get smoked salmon that I could buy from Costco. I expected wasabi and guacamole in the burrito as well as stated but no wasabi and guacamole was really just a mashed avocado. I wasn't too disappointed in that part mostly because I wasn't a fan of either haha. Mostly disappointed in the salmon. I felt there was too much orange yuzu sauce and the flavors all together was a bit weird. I looked at all other sushi burrito combinations and it seems to me they are trying to add a Spanish spin to each. Definitely wasn't a fan of my burrito. If I had to come back I would maybe give their Mayan dragon with the eel in it a try or the happy tuna. The burrito was a good size for those who don't eat much or want to eat something light.
