Candied Pork Belly Bao, Popcorn Chicken, Grilled Chicken Bowl
    Irene B.

We have been wanting to come try this place and so glad we finally did. The place is cute and friendly customer service. We ordered the candied pork belly bao bun, popcorn chicken and grilled chicken bowl. Everything was made fresh! The bao bun was soft and fluffy, the candied pork belly was delicious and not greasy or oily. The popcorn chicken was crispy and I loved the sauce on the top of it. The grilled chicken bowl was flavorful and filling.

Inside- looks really nice (angle towards exit)

Went exploring and found Teawich. I had the Brown sugar milk tea boba. The Boba's were warm which gives a pleasant surprise with the cool tea. I also ordered the candied pork belly bao. Interior is clean and welcoming. Chairs are colorful and comfortable. 5 out of 5 recommend coming here!

    Sweet Garlic Sausage Bao

Hell yeah!!! Came here for lunch today. Got the coffee cream smoothie, it was not too sweet and is so nice in this heat. Ordered the garlic sausage bao and it was awesome. The bun was warm and soft and the meat was very savory with a great bite to it. Last, but certainly not least, the chicken popcorn bowl. I got it with fried rice instead of steamed and it is so damn good. There is garlic in the fried rice the chicken is fried beautifully and has a creamy and very lightly sweet sauce to it. Vibes are also very chill and everything seems very clean. The staff has been very nice the two times I've been here and I highly recommend to anyone looking

I love bao!!! And their bao was good too! I tried the candied pork bao and got an orange green tea. The drink was also refreshing and decently priced for the tea drinks. The shop was super cute too with all the cute kawaii decorations around. And the service was good, they brought me drink and food when done to the table, instead of just calling me over to pick it up. The small things make me appreciate it. lol

First time here and I was not disappointed. The high ratings are real. The food was made fresh to order. I had candied pork bao and sea salted matcha. Both were delicious. Bao was soft and slightly sweet. Sea salted matcha was creamy and not too sweet. Boba was slightly sweet with a perfect amount of chewiness just the way I like it. Service was prompt and friendly. Plenty of seating. Parking was easy. The shop sits further back from Foothill, so it's easy to miss it. It's in the little shopping center/strip mall between El Pollo Loco and Goodwill.

Yesterday my Taiwanese Uncle and I found a Taiwanese tea and bao cafe in Upland. We highly recommend their tasty fluffy gua bao made from scratch. Not only do they have handmade gua bao bread, they make own garlic sausage, candied pork belly, and mustard with care and heart. The candied pork belly was super tender, perfect texture, not too salty or sticky- and even has powdered peanut sugar she brings back from Taiwan. They also have a version with no nuts for those with allergies. She brings back Taiwanese tea for the boba drinks and hopes to share this tasty dish and our Taiwanese culture. We stayed to ask where they learned to cook.. and learned it all started from a caring father sending his daughter to America.Opened in 2024 by a Katy Wong who quit her corporate job to make thousands of bao in order to perfect this fluffy recipe. The Chef for all the Taiwanese meats is her son. I hope you will try it whenever you are near Upland Ca. It's a super tasty treat, great representation of Taiwanese street food and boba, and beautiful family story taking pride in what they create and serve.

So good! So so so good! If you haven't been yet, go to Teawich! Their food was so delicious. The flavor of their chicken bao was just yum! Our friends got the bowl, my husband and I both got the fried chicken bao and we all shared some of their tots. I really enjoyed my meal. You would think oh it's just a little bao. No! It's so filling and humongous. I honestly was barely able to finish one. Our friends ordered on Doordash for delivery since we wouldn't make it on time to dine in, but I realized that Teawich is right down the street from where my husband and I live. I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner. We do plan to go again and eat inside and try some of their other food options. So glad we got to try some of their tasty foods and I look forward to coming back.

Family of four decided to grab lunch at TeaWich after checking out their ad on Facebook. It's a small family run restaurant that specializes in tea drinks and Bao - especially gua bao. The decoration is mostly eatery, traditional, and lots of personal touches. It's inviting and loving. We order the pork belly Bao (best), gua bao is fluffy just dense enough. Fried chicken Bao, the sauce is a bit overpowering but that's my personal opinion. It's a good fusion Bao. And last the traditional pork belly rice. It's right up there with my mom's own cooking, very good. Ingredients and food are made to order fresh and tasty. Service is a bit slower but generally very friendly and we strike conversation with family owner group. Good place to try gua bao and interesting fusion menu and creations.

After deciding I was not cooking dinner tonight, I turned to Yelp to find the next best thing--delivery! A few scrolls later, I stumbled upon Teawich and was instantly intrigued by the menu. The fried chicken bao and strawberry milk tea especially caught my eye, so I placed my order directly through Yelp, two hours in advance. I took a little nap, woke up to a notification that my food was on the way, and dove right in the moment it arrived. Everything tasted just as good as it looked--fresh, flavorful, and totally hit the spot! Trying a new spot can be a gamble, but I absolutely loved it. So much so that I'm already planning to come back with my partner and dine in next time. Teawich just earned a spot in my regular rotation!

Delicious bao sandwiches - made to order so there's a little wait - but it's worth it! Nice addition to the area!

What are the boa buns made of ? Are they sweet or just like a plain dough

It is plain but i personally think there is a natural sweetness. It was made of flour. Though It is not typically Chinese way , i think they did good job creating a new way to eat the bun.

Very soft and perfectly warm. The sandwich was packed full of shredded, slow roaster turkey, stuffed with stuffing and a layer of cranberry sauce. I drizzled the suggested gravy on it- delicious! The reasoning behind only 3 stars was customer service. The man working the register and taking orders was not welcoming or friendly. I enquired how the French fries were there and the reply was $3.49. I asked how they were not how much they were. He remained straight faced. No public service or even a sliver of a smile. When we picked the order up at the counter I asked the woman employee if I could get a side of gravy for my sandwich. Her reply was simply an eye roll and "I'll check the back". Despite the sandwiches and the brookie being delicious I don't know that we will be back. It is important to us as foodies and as consumers that we encounter welcoming service and not be made to feel like we are putting them out. Food great- service NOT.
