Music was very distracting. Should play smooth jazz or something from the 40's or 50's to match the ambience. Actually, the music selection was better suited for a bar. Not a high-end restaurant. By 8 pm they were out of their Wood-fired Chicken. In addition, they ran out of Ravioli. And it is an Italian Restaurant! Remove my favorite dish...Wood-fired Pork Chop with peaches. Bummer. The garden salad had a vinaigrette dressing that was very tangy and also burned my lips. Not everyone loves Italian salads. I ordered the wood-fired sirloin stake (med-rare). Ate 3/5 of the steak and had already collected gristle and fat that amounted to 1/2 the total content. Had to return it. The first time I had ever returned a dish. The flavor was good. Was brought a second steak (without question) kudos for that. Unfortunately, the second steak had the same amount of fat and gristle. Thus, my true fault is apparently with who ever purchased the steak. Definitely not the upper tier caliber of steak cuts. By the way, the manager never came by the table. This restaurant was very noisy. It was difficult conversing across the table. The first time we went to this restaurant in October 2022 I would have rated it a 5 stars. Don't Know what happened? Fortunately, the rest of our party enjoyed their food. Except for the individual who wanted the ravioli. Update on Tellers: We were asked to come back to Tellers due to our first experience was not the best. We had a re-due of a 21st birthday celebrations, from the host stand to getting shown The Vault area it was fabulous. We started of with our amazing server Caleb his attention to detail in serving us to explaining certain dishes we had asked about was one of the best service we have had. We started off with Burrata and Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. The Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was so fresh and all the combinations of flavors just wow! The Burrata was so good especially with the fresh house made Focaccia I was able to spread the creamy Burrata that had some kind of pesto at the bottom as well. We then had the 16oz Sirloin, The Rigatoni Al Forno, Mahi Mahi, and the Yellowfin Tuna. We shared small bites with each other to be able to experience all the wonderful flavors. I just want to add we had sides that were flavorgasam. The Polenta and Roasted Mushrooms where the best sides I have had the slight sprinkle of salt on the roasted mushrooms just tied it all together. We ended the night with some wonderful desserts. The Chocolate & Pistachio Cannoli cake the blend of chocolate and pistachio is a blend that was wonderful great pairings. The Cheesecake AHHHHHHH wow from the Graham cracker crust to the Chantilly and fresh berries every bite was just AMAZING!!!! Lastly we had the strawberry short cake and Salted Caramel Sundae it was good just man the cheesecake hands down the best of all we the desserts we had! Thank you to Carson one of the managers who was attentive from beginning to end with our table. It defiantly was a fabulous time and has changed my mind on this unique and historic gem in OKC. Again, Caleb was a fantastic server and elevated our experience from our greeting to our goodbye. Isaac was fabulous as always and stopped by to say Hi and just pleasant as ever. I was here celebrating a friend's birthday and they accommodated to a late dinner booking and not once I felt rushed to order. Even though they were busy at the moment. Very LOUD!!! Tables are close together and it's very difficult to have a conversation with your party, regardless of size. Service was very slow as well. Side note, if you have a truck or large vehicle DO NOT valet or try and park in parking garage!!!! Whoever designed the parking garage must drive a Mini Cooper. There are NO WARNINGS! Okay, we went there on 1 January. Got seated, okay? The place is beautiful. Marble walls, skylight, decorations. Ordered drinks a starter, burrata. It was good. Then, I ordered food. The ladies got lobster ravioli and shrimp scampi. They were ok with the only comment here was they were only lukewarm when they arrived and we are talking 8 ravioli and a few pieces of lobster, 26 or so dollars per meal so a little skimpy to me when pasta costs pennies. The shrimp scampi was much more substantial. My daughters were still hungry when we got home and dug out the New Years leftovers. I had the wood fired chicken. Now we got our food about 45 minutes after we finished the starter. The waiter had stopped midway and said that he was waiting on the chicken...this is where it got confusing because after they brought the pastas, they brought the chicken with small roasted potatoes. 30 dollars, but I figured I didn't want pasta. I tried a potato, it was cold, I tried a bite of the chicken, it was cold, then I tried each of all 3 pieces of chicken and only one was warm and that was just. I didn't want to eat a cold meal, or I would have stayed home. So after the waiter walked by, he eyed the barely touched meal but kept on walking. After another 10 minutes, he came back and asked us if we wanted to see a dessert, which we said no. Then I told him that the chicken was cold and I didn't want it. Even if they replaced it, everyone else was through eating, and I didn't want everyone waiting on me to choke down my food. He said he would take it off the bill, take the plate back, and tell the chef. He did both the first two and assumed he did the third. So I gave this place an excellent for the decor, it was beautiful. But a lower score for the service, which was substandard but adequate. It is a low satisfactory for the pasta dishes and an unsatisfactory for the woodfired chicken. This was for my daughter's birthday. She is a surgeon in Texas and wasn't able to get up here on her birthday but one month late, so it put a damper on the celebration. Probably won't be back, maybe to the Vault in the basement for a drink but not the restaurant Tellers. I was disappointed because I saw this place on Discover Oklahoma and thought it looked great. Go for the gorgeous architecture and refurbishment of a beautiful space. Skip the "hotel food" and fake "food tax" on your bill. I took my well dressed and very polite staff here for a holiday meal in December. (I mention we were nicely dressed and polite because there was no obvious reason for our poor experience.) First, as it was a late lunch reservation, the place was not terribly busy at 1:30pm and though all the many vacated tables appeared clean, our table was not "ready" for more than 25 minutes. Then we were told the manager would be by shortly to apologize for the delay, but neither a water server, waitstaff, or manager stopped by for more than 10 minutes after we were seated. When we asked the host, she ran around looking for someone to come help us, leaving her post unattended and losing more customers who came and left because they didn't wish to wait any longer. Once the manager came, she asked if anyone wanted appetizers, we didn't, but she forced the issue awkwardly saying "Are you suuuuuuure???? Our artichokes are so good!" And when I finally just looked at her for a moment, having already answered her twice, she said, "They are on me." So we relented and got a plate of 3 artichokes "on the house" for our group of 5. While the manager was there, I mentioned we were thirsty, but she didn't offer us even water. Several minutes later we were offered water and then finally a server who told us she was new and apparently alone. Although the larger table next to us came in well after we did without a reservation, they finished their meal and several rounds of drinks and left before we even got a our lunch dishes... which arrived at the same time as the aforementioned dessert. From there, the food was average, but not bad and service moderately improved. We would have bought spent a good deal more in cocktails, but it seemed an inconvenience to the staff to bring us more than the first round. When I got up and found our server, she was happy to order us a second round. Then it was time for the bill, which yes, I had to beg for. On a $200 check, on top of which there were the expected 8ish% sales tax and 13.5% alcohol tax, PLUS a "food tax." I asked about it and was told by the "proprietor" (who was different from the manager and did not give me his name, but claimed responsibility for the place) that it is a standard tax for all OKC restaurants and they have to pay it because of COVID... as though I'm an idiot and no one at my table ever ate at a restaurant before. So, just to be clear, I reached out to the city of OKC tax office and asked. They do not know of such a tax that is being charged to OKC restaurants and certainly not one that is intended to be passed along to consumers in this way. I don't nitpik receipts for service to save a nickel or two. In fact, I very much wanted to spend more, but it was their incredibly poor service prevented it. I do however, insist that pricing is up front and honest. Theirs is not. read more

Our waitress sat us, never mentioned any of the specials and the interaction was subpar. Which, could have been overlooked, except I ordered the chicken and got the broccolini instead of the potatoes. I asked for no breadcrumbs on the broccolini. Food was brought out and there were breadcrumbs. I ate the chicken as our waitress had disappeared and when she finally came to check on us I asked about the broccolini having bread crumbs still and her response was "well I didn't bring it out so I don't know" and then she walked away. Never mind the entire portion of uneaten broccolini was still on the plate. Unfortunately after this I do not believe we will be back. read more

The food here was excellent from appetizers to dessert. I gave it three stars due to the exceptionally poor service. Drinks took 20 plus minutes to arrive and were not all correct, salt and pepper are not available on the table and when our Caesar salads were delivered I asked for black pepper. Fifteen minutes later when our server finally wandered back by another member of the party asked about it and the response was "oh ya". If your fork was cleared with your salad ( only one set on the table) our server wasn't remotely interested in bringing new silverware. Several of our party were first time diners and no background or history was given to us. We were told it was a "new" dining experience and we needed to place our full order at one time for apps, soups and or salad and entrees. A better description would have been poor service. This was by far the worst, least attentive and inaccurate service I have experienced in years. Quite frankly at Dennys I would expect better. Seriously disappointing given the nature of the establishment. I'm visiting OKC and even though the food was very good the service was poor enough that I most likely would not spend my money there again. read more

I was invited back to Tellers on Sunday and had the most amazing experience. Customer service was a 10/10 and I'm so glad I came back. Our waiter took exceptional care of us and truly made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend the French 75 from the bar. I ordered the eggplant dip for starters and it was delicious. For dinner I had a wonderful Cacio E Pepe and dessert was the Apple Crostata to celebrate my Birthday. I will be coming back and think this is an exceptional addition to our city. read more
