Disappointed to say this was a less than stellar experience. I have been looking forward to coming here for a while now--love the fact the First National building has been restored to its former glory. It really is such a beautiful place. Came here for dinner with my husband and my parents. We had reservations at 6:15, didn't leave until 8:30. Our waitress was nice, but I feel like maybe she was either inexperienced or maybe just a little overwhelmed. I do feel bad for her and understand that most of the issues weren't her fault. Unfortunately she did still make some mistakes. Had to be reminded multiple times to bring something we had asked for and when she would come back sans what we asked for, she had strange excuses for why she hadn't brought the cocktail my mom ordered or for the refill of my husband's soda yet. My mom and I both ordered the rigatoni. My dad got the lasagna and my husband got the ribeye. We also ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and the potatoes for a side. The meatballs were honestly amazing. I could eat a whole plate full of them. Our waiter informed us that they take the full order in advance. So appetizers, entrees, and dessert they wanted us to order all at once. Something to do with getting it all timed right. Well, that failed miserably. In between the appetizer, the salads, and entrees (we skipped getting a dessert because we felt like it would be another 30 mins before we go it), would be a long wait in between each course. Now, a long dinner is something that is customary in other countries and at some fine dining establishments, but at this restaurant, I wouldn't expect to have a 2 hour dinner. The last thing I will mention...both my entree and my mom's entree were lukewarm. We both got the rigatoni. I saw pictures of it online and I thought it was baked since it comes in a cast iron skillet. Definitely not baked. Clearly it is made separately and then put into a warmed cast iron for presentation. The rigatoni was barely warm while the skillet was hot. They also forgot the potatoes, but we decided to cancel them since the waiter said they hadn't been made yet and again, we didn't want to wait any longer. We would've been done with our food by the time they brought them out. My dad said his lasagna was good and my husband enjoyed his steak. Overall, it is a gorgeous restaurant. It is new and they clearly have some kinks to work out. It seems it's 50/50 on what kind of experience you will get--some people will get great service and food, while others will get the complete opposite (judging by other reviews). For the price you're paying to dine here, you want it to be good. Having lukewarm food and a long wait for things like a salad is unacceptable. I do plan to come back in a few months and give them another try, but they definitely have some things to iron out. Hope they get it all figured out soon as it really is a very cool place! read more

The three stars are all awarded to the ambiance of the building. It's a five star for sure, but the food and service are so bad I was unwilling to go any higher lest you think you might enjoy your overpriced meal. Our service started more than 15 mins after we were sat, to which our waitress informed us that we needed to order our appetizers and entrees at the same time so the kitchen could keep up. My family of five ordered meat balls and Diavolo Pizza as appetizers. We should have stopped there. The pizza is actually delicious. I never received a drink refill in the two hours we were there. Two in our party ordered the shrimp pasta meal. It was possibly three shrimp cut up, very sparse for the price and the sauce tasted as if it had vinegar in it. They were not pleased. I ordered cavatelli, again, vinegar in the sauce, it's just awful. The 16oz sirloin was quite fatty although my son did like it. He was the only person in our party that enjoyed their entree. My husband gave a two thumbs up to the Old Fashioned. All that to say, $255 was ridiculous for poor food and lousy service. read more

So disappointed. The 1-3 star reviews below are spot on. The renovation is gorgeous and I would come back for a drink at the bar but I doubt I will dine here again. Same complaints as all the others... 8:30 reservation but weren't sat until 9:15, service was terribly slow, food was just okay. Skip the Caesar all together. They did comp us a bottle of wine for our troubles. Our waitress literally left the building and abandoned her tables before we got appetizers. Poor girl!! We didn't get our entrees until 11 pm. We visited for the fist time today after much anticipation. We can't wait to return. Beautiful space segmented into various smaller spaces. Was private, intimate yet plenty of energy. We tried various appetizers and main course. Although everything wasn't perfect, the follow up by Stacy the manager earned it a 5 star review. read more

I am staying at The National Hotel- which is a Marriott- the food is good, the service excellent. However, a very limited room service menu and the chef would not accommodate a small request. Next time a different hotel with a better menu. read more

It's so hit or miss that it's not even worth the trouble. I've been to Tellers numerous times since they opened and ultimately it seems like they get it right about a third of the time. But let me tell you, when they miss, they typically REALLY miss. I have so much passion for the building and I really hope Tellers can see a turn around! read more

Dined here for my wife and I's 20th anniversary and over all was very impressed. Garrett was our server and was very well acquainted with the menu and even recommended a very nice wine because of the sommelier was unavailable . There was a little confusion with the wait staff as far as who's table it was but it was quickly fixed. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was incredible. If you have a special occasion I would highly recommend. For us, Teller's isn't a new regular due to the cost, but it will be a go to for those special meals. read more

Finally got a chance to check this place out. First off, it has to be one of the best atmospheres in OKC. The renovation on the this building is first class. Next, the service was very good. Our server even gave us a brief history of the bank. Finally the food, I ordered the lobster ravioli which was outstanding. My wife had pappardelle which was good as well. We split the cheesecake and a dish that was a mixture of vanilla ice cream and espresso. It was one of best pieces of cheesecake I have ever had. Overall this was a great experience. read more

The history and beauty of this building/restaurant alone are a fabulous reason to visit! We went early on when it opened and had issues with service and food- but tonight our food was delicious and our server, Joe, was FANTASTIC! This is a very neat place with a very interesting back story! It has a big main bar and lounge area where you can order drinks and a small food menu while you wait for your table, or if that's all you want to do! The food is good with complimentary bread. I got the wood fire marghertia pizza and it was a classic perfect taste I love about a wood fire. It is a little pricey, but very fun for special occasions and cool ambiance! read more

The first time I went here was with a friend & it was perfectly fine. We ordered pizza that was pretty good, our waitress was nice, & I was excited to come back & try it again on Valentine's Day with my husband. Our Valentine's Day lunch experience was completely different from my first experience here. Our waiter was SO rude & condescending to us, but was friendly & extremely chatty to the table behind us. The food was honestly terrible. My husband got the broccoli as a side & it was so burnt & scorched it was literally inedible. Our chicken sandwiches were basically bricks they were so hard. I was extremely disappointed because it was pricey & it was a day that was supposed to be a special occasion, but we seriously would have enjoyed chicken sandwiches from chick-fil-a better than here. I don't mind spending a decent amount on food as long as it's good, but the quality & the price here did not match each other in the slightest. I only give it a 4 because of the service. We went for a friend's birthday and i called it in as a reservation. The waiter still managed to ask if we're celebrating something after seating us . Our waiter was not attentive and everything we ordered was delayed including drinks and the check. The FOOD and cocktails however did not disappoint! We took our little girls here for afternoon tea & they felt so special! Our server Makayla was great & the manager Whitney! This place is busy & you are paying for an experience that is worth it! Be mindful that it takes a lot of time going back & forth to get everything you need, so have patience. You can tell everyone who works there is really trying!
