We beat the lunch rush! Came on a Sunday to try this place out and we loved it! The place is cozy and welcoming. Brightly lit too! There's a pre-set menu ranging from meat to seafood. There are different types of broths to choose from too. I ordered the original beef broth with beef and omg, the broth was so flavorful! All of the add-ons paired nicely with the broth too! It was just the right amount to leave satisfied. I also found out the restaurant is called ten seconds because that's how long it takes for everything to cook once it's placed in the pot! I also got to try the golden broth & that was my favorite. There was a different richness to it that paired nicely with the pork! I'll definitely be back!

I loved the food and concept here! They have a wide variety of rice noodle broth and protein options. Each rice noodle set comes with a platter of cold/raw toppings (corn, minced meat, quail eggs, wood ear, lettuce, chives, green onion, ham, gojiberries, tofu skin), cooked rice noodles, your protein choice, and a bubbling pot of broth. The workers recommended we put in all the cold/raw toppings into the soup first while it's still super hot, then lastly put in the cooked rice noodles and protein. It was a fun interactive experience and the result was amazing! I got the spicy fish rice noodles which was so flavorful and comforting. The portion size was massive! Also tried the scallion pancakes which are nothing like i've ever had. They had chive filling in addition to scallions which I enjoyed. The beef pies were juicy and delicious too! The workers were helpful, welcoming, and polite. Super bright and clean interior. This is a great spot for a cold day or just if you're craving a big bowl/pot of noodle soup. Definitely will return!

Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodle ($17.99). Sadly mine came with a lot more tendon compared brisket.

This is definitely one of those places you come to because it looks cute for IG and can be a fun cooking experience similar to how people enjoy cooking their own KBBQ. My fiancé and I were craving soup and ended up ordering their Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodle Soup and their Tomato Beef Brisket Rice Noodle Soup. Both the broths were distinct and tasty, but at roughly $18 per bowl before tax/tip I feel like you're paying for the presentation to have a tiny amount of each ingredient separated into their own little saucers and the "experience" of cooking your food by simply dumping in everything into the boiling soup. These saucers are tiny and don't hold much toppings in each. Another bummer for us was that most of our brisket was actually large chunks of solid tendon. So since we both weren't fans we just didn't eat it. The good thing is that the soup comes with plenty of noodles which honestly is the main filler since the toppings are so little and just shrink in the hot soup. I like the flavor, but can't justify the cost for a bowl of soup.

Decided to scope out Ten Seconds after seeing good reviews for this and several of the other Bay Area locations. The inside is fairly casual and we were seated promptly on a weekend afternoon. Most of us ordered the Original Sliced Beef Rice Noodles with pork bone soup ($15.99) with a few stragglers trying other variations. We got our toppings and noodles first. The rice noodles came in a small separate bowl and the toppings arrived in a tray with 12 small dishes and the raw meat stacked on top. TBH, while it's cool you get to pick and choose which toppings from the tray you want to put into your soup, the whole tray of toppings felt a bit like a novelty and also wasteful from a dishwashing perspective. Each mini dish held a small amount of toppings - a sprinkle of green onions, a single piece of black fungus, a bite sized slice or two of meat, etc. Felt it's mostly for visual presentation and perhaps making the meals IG worthy. I can only imagine how many dishes and trays the kitchen needs to wash daily. The broth arrived shortly later, nice and boiling hot, ready to be filled with noodles and toppings galore. I got a little amused when I realized the exterior bowl of the soup was shaped very similar to a dog bowl. I'm guessing this is to avoid any super hot broths from being tipped over and spilled. We all tossed in our meats, noodles, and toppings and gave it a minute or so to cook. I recall some reviewers indicating it's a fun experience - as someone who is a bit more practical, it was just a process. I felt a smidge silly that I had to pick up a tiny plate with a lonely single piece of fungus and toss it in my soup. I had the original beef with pork bone soup noodles and the overall taste was decent. The noodles were silky, the sliced beef was fine, and the toppings were alright. Don't think I can say too much about toppings of plain tofu skin, green onions, corn, etc that you're essentially cooking yourself. The broth tasted fresh and healthy, though I ended up needing to get some hot sauce to give the meal a kick. Portion size was average (coming from a small/medium-ish eater). Service was relatively good and friendly. When the bill came, the gratuity had already been added (we were a table of 6). Unless I missed it, there wasn't any mention of a mandatory gratuity on the menu so I was a bit meh when I saw it built into the receipt. I'm also a little confused on what % the mandatory tip is - the pre-tax charge made it 19.8% and the post-tax charge made it 17.8%. These seem to be odd numbered percentages for a mandatory tip when it's usually a more rounded number. Overall, it was cool to at least try this place out. I did feel that being served a platter of tiny topping dishes to build your own bowl is a bit gimmicky and more of a novelty. The meal itself was fine, but lacked a bit of umph for me to be like Arnold and say "I'll be back". I'm also getting fatigued by all these surprise mandatory gratuities, especially when it's not stated anywhere on the menu.

I've been wanting to try this new place because it kept popping up on yelp. We went for lunch over the weekend, so there was no wait. The inside is brightly lit and clean, but there weren't too many tables. We ordered through our phones and received our food quickly. We got the original beef pork bone soup and the tomato beef brisket soup. It was a fun experience putting everything into the soup and cooking it, it was like a personal hotpot. The meat was very good and the soup came with tons of noodles. The other toppings were good, but I wasn't a fan of the romain lettuce that it came with. I thought it was going to come with cabbage, but it was lettuce. I personally don't like hot and soggy romaine lettuce, so I was disappointed when that was the main vegetable. On the bright side, both soups were tasty! I enjoyed trying this place, but I don't think I would come back.

Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle takes over the old Tea Six location in Fremont. I had been to the San Leandro location, so when I heard they opened a new Fremont store, I had to check it out. The staff were friendly and spoke Mandarin, Cantonese and English as I was seated. They have menus as well as QR codes at each table. After looking over the menu, I ordered the Cucumber Salad and the Mushroom Chicken Rice Noodle Soup. The Salad came out as the restaurant began sitting customers. Soon thereafter, my Noodle Soup was brought to me. You add the ingredients to the boiling Soup with the Rice Noodles going in last for Ten Seconds. The food was good as was the service. As I was leaving, the restaurant was more than half full. I will be back to sample more of their menu as winter weather approaches.

A fun and different spin on noodle soup! I saw an Instagram reel for Ten Seconds Rice Noodle by a food blogger. Located in upper Fremont (closer to Newark/Union City) this little restaurant has a clean and bright interior. On a Saturday evening we were seated right away. Scan the QR code for the menu or use their physical menu. Pick a soup broth which comes with the fixings and the noodles. There are also appetizers and drinks as well. We started with the beef pancake. For the portion size, it felt a little costly. There's a meat patty between flaky layers of crispy pancake. It was good, not crazy amazing though. The making of the noodle soup is a different experience. They bring out the broth that is sizzling hot. You put in the protein and veggies first, then all the other fixings, and lastly the noodles for 10 seconds. Then your noodle soup is ready to consume! I tried the spicy beef soup and it was flavorful without being too spicy. The rice noodles were also a delightful texture. The only complaint I have is with the fixings. I got three slices of beef, two pieces of lettuce, and the fixings are very small in portion. However, the meal is filling because of the amount of broth and rice noodles (large portion). It feels like you're paying mostly only for the noodles and broth. Service was great. We were checked up on and they were really friendly, offering help for any questions. If you love noodles and a good broth, this place will satisfy. For two noodle soups and our beef pancake appetizer, the total was $52 after tip and tax. Overall, seems like a solid spot that offers a unique concept. I would return on occasion.

Dive into a food adventure with our quick 10-second rice noodles - way beyond your usual noodle bowl! Pick your meat according to your taste and let the fun begin. The speedy service brings out each topping in cute little dishes, creating a cool setup like those royal tables in Chinese movies. When the hot stone shows up, throw in raw meat, lettuce in first then follow with all the toppings - enjoy the sizzling sounds as it cooks! The meat and veggies are fresh and clean. I tried the mildly spicy fish soup and the classic one - both absolutely tasty. The fish soup has just the right kick, not too spicy, with a bit of tanginess. Plus, they give you a good amount of rice noodles. Compare to other restaurants that have a same style the price here is average and good to try. The place is spotless, tidy, and the staff is super friendly. They pay attention to customers and act fast on requests, which is not something you find in every Chinese joint. Enjoy the vibe!

Fun experience to cook your own soup noodles supplied with their freshly prepared ingredients! New to this mall, Ten Second Rice Noodles, as quick as their name suggests, zipped into the takeout scene via the FanTuan food delivery app and have established a beautiful dining space for their patrons to craft their own bowl of noodles within a few seconds. With a steady flow of customers, it's a good sign that their ingredients stay fresh! Should you decide to dine in, be wary that this mall can get quite busy as it shares space with the supermarket giant, 99 Ranch. There are usually spots available but peak time can get ridiculous. Once you enter, you seat yourself among the many wooden chair and cushioned booth options and be ready to bust out your smart phone to order your meal online by scanning the code on the table. If you'd prefer or it's your first time here, ask for the physical menu as it has more details and pictures to help you decide what you'll be cooking and eating. The menu is generally pretty simple. All the soup noodles basically come with a set of toppings and a soup base. Where each item varies is the soup (pork bone soup, tomato sweet and sour, and golden hot and sour, numb spicy, kimchi, pepper) and main entree of that dish which may include sliced beef, beef brisket, pork chop, chicken, sliced fish, and mushrooms among other things. You're also able to add onto your order with more toppings should you please. Be warned though, it's a pretty decent amount of food. With the original sliced beef noodle, it came with a lot of ingredients including goji berries, a quail egg, corn, green onions, tripe, wood ears, ham slices, minced meat sauce, lettuce and spring onions. The soup was piping hot in the stone pot and was boiling as it came out. Following the cooking instructions from the menu, we cooked our protein (and the egg) with the lettuce first, then other toppings and finally the noodles. After the noodles have been submerged for ten seconds in the hot soup, we dug in! The noodles had a good bite to it and were portioned well. The soup was irresistible and warmed us to our stomaches. The medley of ingredients in the noodle soup went very well together and before we knew it, we were done and full! We also ordered a side of the pork ears which were good and on the spicier side. If you're into spice, try it! Aside from the main dishes, they also serve milk tea and boba (quite fitting since this building used to be a milk tea shop). Saw a few people getting the drinks to go and a few deliveries being picked up by FanTuan drivers. The service was great as well. The staff speak a variety of languages - the ones I picked up was English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. So if you speak any of those, you'll find it easy to chat with the staff and owner there. It wasn't too busy when we went but I am sure the staff will continue to get more comfortable with new customers and building a rapport with regulars. Only suggestion would be to try to direct the cigarette smoking to the backside of the building, not near the entrance. Despite that they've only been open for a week or so, the number of patrons coming in and out is a good sign that this place may be here to stay past their "ten seconds" of fame. Overall, the food here is delicious and priced fairly given the variety of toppings you're getting with each bowl of noodles.

Ambiance: not much has changed from the previous TeaSix noodles with the exception of tables and right side wall as you walk in. Better ambient lighting imo. Service: two ladies servicing between the kitchen and floor. Pretty busy and quick on their legs despite restaurant being half full on a Sunday evening. Might be a problem if fully occupied. Pitcher of water took a good ten minutes to arrive at table. Food: not bad. Not too overwhelming menu with options that should be enough for everyone. Each mini dish of food was fresh and clean. While the restaurant is called ten seconds (and the noodle side dish cooking also takes about that long), the service needs to be improved. Owner probably knew about the wait so he offered us both cup of tea. Either that or grand opening little special. Hope to be back anyway for the winter season when I'm craving something warm.

I was sad to see Tea Six closed, but was super intrigued by the restaurant that opened in it's place!! I have brought my parents here a couple times, and we love their noodles! Upon ordering, they bring out a try to precooked veggies and items to add to the soup. I love the shop's design and cute statues in the restaurant. The staff are the nicest!! There has been multiple times where my family and I have come 30 minutes before closing and they let us stay until we finish our meal. My favorite is C3, with pickled cabbage and fish. It's the perfect amount of sour and spicy, with a szechuan touch. Sometimes the noodles can be a lot for me, so I often take the noodles home and they are so good reheated too!! Pro tip is to add the jujube and tray items while the soup is sizzling hot!! :)

My family and I arrived for dinner on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of tables available. We ordered through a QR code on the table. There was a variation of broth to choose from. I got the original beef brisket soup. Surprisingly the broth was quite flavorful! Even my dad liked it for an Asian dad who is always critical of the food every time we eat out. There were only a couple slices of beef, but it good and were decent quality for the most part. It came with interesting sides to put into the hot boiling soup. I know it's for aesthetic purposes but they could literally serve everything in one bowl. The dish itself was very filling because they gave a huge bowl of rice noodles and plenty of broth. I'd be back to try the other dishes they have.

Condiments that come with almost all the soups.

The service was really good, but the star was the food. We had a fish maw rice noodle soup with chicken and a pork belly and chicken rice noodles. Added a tea soaked egg and pork spareribs. Started with pork ears with spicy sauce (and garlicky) and fried leek pancake. Everything was so delicious that we didn't leave anything.

One Piece Lamian specializes in Chinese noodle dishes, all with an efficient QR code ordering…read moresystem and super quick service. We started with the One Piece Mixed Salad (tofu skin, vermicelli noodles, woodear mushrooms, carrots, celery, seaweed, and peanuts, all mixed in a savory, acidic, and spicy dressed ) and the Shredded Potato Salad, both of which made for nice appetizers. We also had the Cold Skin Noodles (Liangpi), a bowl of wide, chewy noodles mixed with a savory sauce and topped with tofu puffs, shredded cucumber , bean sprouts, and a creamy sesame sauce. Hailing from Xi'an, the Braised Pork Pita Burger was fatty pieces of pork braised in a savory sauce, served in a dry round of "pita," but even better was the Spicy Cumin Lamb Pita Burger, which contained a tantalizingly spicy, flavorful filling of tender spiced lamb. The Signature Beef Bone Noodle Soup came with noodles in a simple broth, topped with three bone-in beef ribs. The meat on the ribs was rather tough and sinewy, and the soup on the bland side, but the presentation of the dish was definitely impressive. Finally, the House Special Braised Dry Noodle was a bowl of noodles topped with a savory sauce with lots of different dried ingredients including tofu, s mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and red bell peppers. For each noodle dish, you could select from a variety of noodles, but my favorite by far was the 2cm "General Wide" noodles, which had an amazing chewy texture. Overall, this was a great restaurant for authentic Northern Chinese noodle dishes and other eats. Everything came out from the kitchen in just minutes after we ordered. There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. A bit noise as with all Chinese restaurants.

They provided a small dish of peanuts and pickled radish. For the 2 of us we ordered a cold noodles which I think was considered appetizer, Takoyaki, and a bowl of fish noodles. The hot and sour dry noodles came with their signature 5-grain noodles, shredded cucumber, half an egg, cilantro and peanuts. The seasoning was sweet and sour with a kick. Honestly it tastes like a kind of instant Korean cold noodles I always eat in summer. The takoyaki of octopus balls are a type of Japanese snack I think, and it is very popular in the Asian countries as night market food. I actually had never tried it so I really could not compare. They are deep fried balls of what tasted like mashed potatoes wrapped Octopus tentacles . Topped with shaved bonitos. Tasked okay... The hot and sour sauerkraut noodles with snakehead fish was really good... if you like Chinese pickled cabbage. The soup base was not red at all so it gives a false sense that it was not spicy. It actually had a nice kick, but not the chilly hot kick, but the green peppercorn numbing sense of burn. The soup was very flavorful and the fish slices were good. I don't know what is snakehead fish but it tasted like flounder but firmer. There were pieces of both regular tofu and fried tofu, as well as a couple of quail eggs. The decoration was simple with cute fish lights dangling from the ceiling and display if the noodles from different grains. The service was decent and they kept on checking if we needed more water and additional utensils. We will most likely come back to sample other noodles.

Vibes were clean and casual but also had upscale decor elements. Wontons with Chili Oil Sauce: 5/5 No complaints! It hit the spot. Wontons had the perfect combo of shrimp and pork in each bit I took. Braised Beef Trio Noodle Soup with Handmade noodles: 4/5 Soup was okay, beef was tender, but the noodles were a bit al dente to my liking. I wish it had more sourness to the soup. Needs some pickled veggies. - Sauce for all the Braised items were a bit to salty. Braise Pork Intestine: 4/5 It was alright. Braise Beef Tripe: 3/5 This was veryyyy soft. Braised Egg: 3/5 The egg was overcooked. Braised Bean Curd: 2/5 Didn't realize this was taiwanese bean curd. I was thinking that this would be a thinner version.

My friends and I each got a beef noodle soup and a pork chop fried rice to share. We also split the century egg with tofu appetizer (15% off with entree order). Ironically enough, the fried rice was my favorite. It was seasoned really well, wasn't too oily, but had that wok aroma. The pork chop was also seasoned well and the meat was high quality. I got the beef shank noodle soup with flat noodles. I am a wider noodle type of gal, but I think I would go with the thin noodles next time. Those feel more inherently "correct" for a beef noodle soup dish. I got 3 decently sized pieces of meat. Meat was really tender. Overall a delicious experience. Definitely one of my favorite beef noodle soup spots in the bay. It was $18 for the beef shank noodle soup. A bit pricier but a decent amount of food.
