=== Overall === Good place to hang out with friends & good value. === Food === My friends ate the Sauerkraut fish next to me while I got the ten seconds Yunnan rice noodle set for under $15. I've had the same thing multiple times at different locations and never been disappointed. It felt good and soothing, would recommend. Sauerkraut fish comes with a Yeti coconut dessert. === Service === Service was pretty friendly and efficient. When you come here they ask if you parked on the side- if you did, make sure you write down your car license plate and model on their clipboard, they seem serious about towing people who aren't properly parked. === Ambiance === The area you're in is a little sus but the inside is clean and peaceful, the workers are professional and efficient. We walked in as a huge party of like 7 people and had no problem.

Stopped in for a quick bite in what may be the longest restaurant name I've come across (the sign outside reads "Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles / Nai Brother Chinese Sauerkraut Fish"). I tried the Beef Fried Rice and the Popcorn Chicken Dry Rice Noodle. The fried rice was a little on the bland side, but the popcorn chicken noodles was really satisfying. Service was friendly and efficient -- food came out quickly. What caught my attention, though, was their specialty: the Yunnan-style rice noodle soup. They serve it as an interactive meal -- you get a bowl of broth and a dozen or so small side plates of meats, veggies, and noodles, all meant to be added in yourself. Definitely an experience I'll be coming back to try next time!

Lunch special is such a great deal! For the lunch special I got a fish dish and it comes with a soda and an appetizer. Picked the broth first then the type of fish. I had Golden Pickle Sauerkraut with the Crisp Grass Carp and Popcorn Chicken. Lunch special is only $19.99 and the price changes depends on the add-on to your dish or if you chosen the expensive fish. Also got the Dry Pot FrogLeg, it was definitely spicy but the good kind of spicy. What else is in it? We'll, there's cucumbers, onions, bell pepper, crisp potatoes, and cilantro. The service at the restaurant was pretty solid considering the circumstances. Our waitress was handling at least seven other tables on her own, which is a tough task for anyone. Despite being so busy, she still managed to get our order in quickly, and the kitchen had the food out in a reasonable amount of time. She did forget our soda, but honestly, given how much she had on her plate, it's understandable. Overall, she was doing her best under pressure, and it showed. Would definitely come back in the future to try other dishes.

Food was good for the price imo Also came with white rice without ordering it. Nice deal for amount of food you get.

The rice noodle is pretty good. But got a parking ticket for $112. While we 3 people just spent $115 in the restaurant. Will never back here again, the Bellevue location is better, at least easy and free parking.

Grilled fish - $55 pretty good

This was a nice surprise in Seattle Chinatown. The name says Yun Nan noodles which was kinda misleading. The restaurant also serves grilled fish and fish hotpot. We tried their grilled fish - 2 pounds for $55. The fish was tender, nearly boneless and very tasty. I haven't had live fish for a long while so this was a nice surprise. The fish pot also came with a variety of veggies including napa, bean curd, mushrooms and potatoes. $55 also came with a complimentary coconut jelly jar which was great value. Worth the visit for sure!

Best Asian cuisine we have had in Seattle yet! Seating is comfortable. There are so many authentic yunnan favorites. Food arrived quickly and was so delicately prepared. If you like spicy seafood noodles, try A14 "Spicy Fish Rice Noodles" with Basa Fish. My daughter had A22 popcorn chicken with dry noodles and loved it. Mango dessert with Pamelo completes the experience. Would definitely come again!

Ten Seconds is one of my favorite places to go for a meal in CID! Their service is excellent and their food is predictably great. I usually get the beef brisket rice noodle soup, which is one huge pot of soup with noodles, beef brisket, and other toppings arranged on the side. When you're ready to eat, you can pour in any amount of the toppings! I love putting the beef brisket into the soup early to give it tons of flavor. I also think this dish is the best bang for your buck, the portion is so big that I have trouble finishing it in one go. I've also gotten the Beef and Beef Tripe Dry Noodles, which is also great. FYI it comes with peanuts which is not mentioned on the menu. The perk is that it comes with a free soft drink! As mentioned before, the service is awesome. We have always gotten complementary red bean sago soup and a lemon chia drink as dessert. They also have a couple of free parking spots right next to the shop, which I always forget about! Will definitely be coming back.

Service was great, food was good! The noodle soups were flavorful and hot. Though, I really don't understand the idea of separating all the ingredients and you just end up dumping all of it in the soup? I guess you have the option to put as little or as much of a certain ingredient in your bowl. But there are other noodle soup options where there is no option to have all the ingredients on small dishes! The fish soup was delicious. It's quite large so there's definitely leftovers. The server was really nice, he answered my parents' million questions and was patient. They gave customer a refreshing juice at the end! We came on a Tuesday around dinner, so it was empty with only 1-2 tables, but later more customers came filtering in. Place was clean and bigger than I thought.

I usually comes here during rainy days for their tomato soup rice noodles as my comfort food and it's working haha.

    House speacial . So good

The food is very delicious and fresh. The server was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Service was fast and the place felt comfortable. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely come back again.

With just the right amount of their house-seasoned soy sauce, it was perfection. The restaurant is small, and the dining room was completely full and buzzing with conversation. The AC was also extremely weak--to the point that it felt almost nonexistent. There were basically only two staff members serving the entire room, so while they weren't overly attentive, our water was refilled promptly and empty plates were cleared quickly. It was so loud that the waitress misheard our shrimp order, so we ended up waiting a little longer for the correct dish. However, it still arrived before the clay pot rice. We had already been warned that the clay pot rice takes more than 20 minutes to prepare, so it wasn't a problem. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for legitimate, fast-casual Cantonese food. Just look around the dining room--it was about 99% Chinese diners, so you know it's the real deal.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

The overall space and bathroom was very clean and a great spot for lunch!
